The best restaurants in Haggerston Hackney London

Pho is decent, a bit bland and not enough noodles. Pork Chop is really good. Overall, food is satisfactory. However, BE WARNED HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! The Hispanic female cashier/server that took our order via phone was highly unprofessional and rude when I went to pick up the food and told her she got the order wrong. She even repeated what we ordered on the phone, yet when I got there to pick it up, one of the order was the wrong item. Instead of offering to replace it with the correct order, she snapped with an attitude and said "well if you want your item you have to wait additional 10 minutes" in a disgruntle manner without any apology or professionalism. When I addressed to the manager how she had no regard for proper customer service, all he said was "I'm sorry" and that was it. I've been in the retail industry myself, including food industry as a waiter (including Pizza Hut, Red Lobsters, Champps, Clyde's, Hilton Hotel, Restaurant in Rockefeller, NYC) for over 8 years and never have I treated any customer with disrespect and with such negative attitude. When I told her "instead of throwing attitude in my direction to a customer, the right approach would be is to apologize and suggest on how to resolve the situation" and make sure the customer feels welcomed and encourage for a return, but instead she replied by saying "I'm not apologizing to you!" and just walked away while giggling to her co-worker. This experience was enough to never go back, and support their business ever again, and I am writing this review to warn other customers to be aware of how they treat their customers!!!!

I have been here a number of times and enjoyed the food and service. This time I chose from the fixed price menu. The turkey was very disappointing, it was large slices of very dry white meat, with no gravy or sauces or the usual trimmings one associated with Turkey. The desert, trifle, was also very disappointing, it bore no relationship to what I would expect as trifle. It was as if the restaurant was not aware of what were and how to serve traditional dishes. Three of my friends who had the same shared my feelings about the food. I had turkey at my local pub last night and it was infinitely better. It is a shame as this is a good restaurant. Those friends who ate off the main menu had excellent food

Me hizo cola durante 25 minutos mientras dos chicas (que obviamente no se preocupan de los clientes y pedidos) conversamos deliveroo preparados. Sólo 2 en la cola, pero después de 25 minutos me rendí y nos fuimos a otro lado. . . No te molestes en ir en el almuerzo hora punta. . Reglas y deliveroo. estarás ignorado hasta los pedidos.

Booked this as it was the highest rated in the area for breakfast with a number of interesting and unusual items on the menu. When we were seated, we were told it was buffet only and, whilst this was quite nice, we could have got the same at a Premier Inn.

I love the falafel wraps they do here. Friendly chatty staff. Chips not so great, but sometimes you just need some hot and nice junk food! Does the trick.

Recientemente ha sido con amigos a la GRAN "Construir un ladrillo Lego' Exposiciones (vale la pena una visita), cuando nos preguntamos Road, el Brick Lane / Shoreditch nueva supuestamente moda zona, y vimos un restaurante que llevó nuestro lujoso, especialmente como un par de nosotros sólo comer pescado, "Sencillamente pescado'. En el cruce de Bethnal Green Road y de la concurrida Shoreditch High Street, justo al principio de la casilla Park ( Un pop-up Mall), la entrada es por pasos concretos empinados, atractivo elegante creo que no, pero obviamente creo que moderno. Hay un ascensor que entiendo. Afortunadamente, tenían espacio, así que nos fuimos.

Changed hands? No where near as nice! Edamame beans overcooked and soggy. Bao buns average .prawns tasted frozen. No flavour. Sadly disappointed! The pork in the bun was not rendered was fatty soggy

Great food, good service about 25 GBP per person, including drinks & desert (+ a drink on the house) great spread, very authentic..

Gran ambiente, me encanta la decoración. El servicio fue amable y rápido también. La porción de comida era generosa y deliciosa. No esperaba un sabor tan auténtico a la comida que se ofrece ahora moderna, pero se ve. Por lo general, voy a una tienda a unas pocas tiendas de aquí, ¡pero esta será mi visita a partir de ahora!

I booked the backstreet diner very last minute due to a cancellation. They were amazing contacting me to make sure they are prepared for the party. They arrived before the guests came and set up and it looked amazing. The food was incredible and everybody loved them. Ben and the team was so friendly I couldn’t ask for better service. Would definitely book again.

mejor combo vegano de quiche y sald que he comido en mi vida. el mejor pan de plátano (normal y vegano), con mantequilla de panal de miel derretida y el mejor café delicioso. beyza mejor servidor. Todo el lugar es acogedor, gestionado profesionalmente y amigable.

Lovely food in beautiful surroundings, definitely worth a visit! On at Reilly Rocket - go when you can.
