The best restaurants in Brownswood Hackney London

They are selling great bread Kurdish style lavash bread. The texture and flavour is the best I have found in London, and it reminds me of the same bread we have in Iran. The falafel wrap is also amazing. Different style to classic Lebanese/ Jordan but much more delicious in my opinion 😌 they are also wonderful people

Maddie era increíble! La comida era excepcional! Tenía vieiras como aperitivo y... Tomé sopa de cebolla francesa. Ella tenía una excelente caña de cordero y yo tenía burguesía de carne. Ambos fueron geniales. El desierto fue excelente. Nuestra siguiente parada es Dublín, y Maddie nos dio algunas paradas geniales para investigar. Gran experiencia!

We were excited to eat here, but after we sat down, we weren’t spoken to for 15 minutes. We left after the staff cleared a table beside us and didn’t acknowledge us. The menu looked beautiful but we were invisible.

Came here quite close to closing time and Antonio very kindly still accommodated us for dinner. The food was lovely and Antonio was great company

Un verdadero hallazgo para el brunch! Personal acogedor y amable. . . ambiente divertido también. La calidad de la comida era excelente, destacaba el tocino y la salchicha. Todos disfrutaron de un inglés completo. Buenos capuchinos y tetera de hojas frescas. Ocupado pero un montón de espacio con un piso de arriba y jardín. También ofrezco comida para llevar y vi pasteles frescos y pan si eso te apetece.

He perdido familia, amigos, mascotas, lo que sea pero estoy muy triste por el cierre de esta comida para llevar! Lo usé por primera vez en 1982 e inmediatamente lo encontré un lugar donde podía confiar y disfrutar de la comida. Lo usaba al menos una vez a la semana. En 1998 dejé Inglaterra para mudarme a Sudáfrica y no volví a Londres durante 7 años. Mi primera noche de regreso bajé a pedir y no solo me preguntaron cómo estaba, sino que sabían mi pedido regular! Vi la transición de padres a hijas y fui allí todas las noches que estuve en Londres en visitas posteriores. La comida sabía exactamente igual que la primera vez que fui! Me dijeron en junio de este año que iban a cerrar y yo estaba devastado. Incluso me llevaron a mi hotel con mi pedido final! El mejor servicio y comida que he encontrado y he vivido en todo el mundo! ¡Buena suerte con los jubilados!

Absolute hidden gem! All the food is done very well and it’s hard to find good Mexican food in the UK (I used to live in California so very picky about it). The nachos have perfectly distributed cheese. The birria tacos and pork tacos are both fantastic as well. Surprisingly great cocktails also — recommend especially the Mama’s margarita. Not likely to encounter much wait even for a Saturday night. Spice level skews mild by default (likely for the European audience) but they have Cholula and you can probably ask them to dial it up if you want that.

Great cooked breakfast at a very reasonable price

The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The chilli is not very hot and has a little sweetness. The noodles are very strong, especially the spicy chicken, and the meat is very tender.
