This is a proper authentic Turkish restaurant. From cold starters to kebabs, everything is really delicious. Everything we tried was great. And the staff are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended, I definitely will be going frequently.

If you want to experience real Turkish kebab, forget all the kebab shops in Haringay or other places! Unfortunately, I discovered Yildiz Restaurant too late. I can easily say that it is the only restaurant in the UK where you can get the same taste and flavour as if you were eating in Turkey. The two young chefs you will see at the grill will prepare a feast for your mouth in one word. A smiling, fast, team, a spotlessly clean place, Once you try it, you will never be able to give it up again. Again, I would like to thank the team who gave us a feast last night.❤️

My message to the owners of Yildiz, stop ripping Arsenal fans off by having a match day menu (with higher prices) when you know your restaurant will be full simply because there are 60,000 fans in the area. In future we will just turn up and order food only and drink in the pubs nearby instead of ordering overpriced Efes at £7.90 a bottle, when its £2 in Turkish supermarkets all over North London. And that is not even a pint. This review wont be changed until you decide to charge match day fans the same as you would on any other lunch/evening during the week. £66 each for two courses and 3 beers, is not good value. I note the website doesn't show the prices of each dish, meaning they can charge what they like on any day. Thats price gouging in my book.

My message to the owners of Yildiz, stop taking the piss out of Arsenal fans and charging £8 for a bottle of Efes, when it's available for £2 a bottle in local supermarkets. We paid £66 (including service charge) for a starter a main and on average 3 bottles of efes. The food was exceptional but a bad taste in the mouth was left by the bill. Its clear that this establishment is scalping Arsenal fans by having a matchday menu. My advice to Arsenal fans is avoid ordering alcohol eat the nice food and go to the Highbury Tavern a few doors down for a beer at half reasonable price.

Good food and friendly service. Been to this restaurant a few times and it never disappoints. Portions are generous and although its not the cheapest restaurant of its type, we have always really enjoyed the experience of eating here.

Very good quality halal price We eat the meat salad really well… everything is very good… The welcoming staff at the top I recommend it if you are spending a stay in London, don’t forget to go there :)

Atmosphere was good but the only reason I’ve given it a 3 is that it was very draughty and pretty chilly, at least where we were sat, even with the door closed. Overall a very fine option for dinner :)

27 October 8 friends We chose Yıldız Restaurant. The best Turkish Restaurant in the Finsbury Park area. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. We went at a busy hour, but we did not regret it at all. Appetizers, Kebabs are very delicious. They serve hot buttery bread. We will come back again. I recommend it. ⭐️🌟🌟 🌟🌟

If you are looking for a comfortable place to make you forget the tiredness of the day, this will be exactly the place you are looking for. From the manager to the staff, they are all friendly and polite people. We preferred kebab and a few appetizers and salads. They were all delicious. An extremely comfortable and warm environment. It makes you feel like you're at home. I definitely recommend it.

Best Turkish meal we have had in a long time! Yildiz was recommended to me by a colleague. I went with my partner on the spur of the moment a few evenings ago. It's a cosy place, very welcoming and with good service. We had adana and lamb shish - perfectly cook and deliciously seasoned. It was accompanied with a fantastic salad (which we had seconds of!) and, of course, fresh Turkish bread. It's priced in line with your average kebab meal - I'm not sure why I'd go anywhere else now.

I don't know what they do to their chicken shish here. I've contemplated over plates if it's MSG, MDMA, the chicken sourcing or chicken sorcery, but it's magical. The best grilled plucked poultry I've had in Europe. Their frivolous use of pomegranate molasses, balanced with equal amounts of lemon juice and salt, creates another drug like house salad. The buttered rice binds the chicken moisture and salad dressing together perfectly. Never misses the spot.

The hummus and thin flat bread was delicious. Definitely a lot of red onion in the salads but cleverly positioned on one side of the takeout container so easy to remove if you are not a fan. The chicken skewer and minced chicken skewer were okay but dry.

The food is good but the staff are rude. We wanted to sit in and eat at the restaurant. When they took our order, they didn’t confirm this with us so we assumed they knew, especially as we then sat down at a table! They then packed our order in takeout boxes and got angry at us when we said that actually we had wanted to eat in. You’d think this wouldn’t be a big deal, but they responded as if we’d spit on their faces! They refused to bring us any cutlery or plates and just left us at the table with our boxes. We waited for a few minutes but I felt so angry and upset with their treatment we decided to leave. Truly dreadful customer service.

Excellent food at Yildiz and highly recommend! We enjoyed the lamb kofta, the Yildiz special salad, and the calamari and we were not expecting the amount of beautifully presented food including such colourful, stunning salads. The koftas/kebabs come with a bowl of delicious fresh pittas, a superb side salad with marinated onions and pickled red cabbage, and some rice. The calamari was juicy and fresh, and the Yildiz salad was enormous with really juicy delicious cubes of feta. It exceeded all expectations and was thoroughly delicious (and so filling). The menu is extensive, and caters really well to vegetarians & vegans, and all the allergens are flagged on the menu (such as molluscs or gluten). The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu.

Was drinking in the gunners pub watching Arsenal. At half time I walked to the nearest kebab shop. Ordered 2 chicken and 2 lamb wraps for me and friends. The meat looked sumptuous, the flat bread was wrapped around the meat and filled with salad, chilli sauce on top. Longer than usual wraps about 10" long. When I asked to pay the girl said £48, £12 each! I was shocked, thought there must be a mistake, never the less I thought it's got to be special, I see how I feel after I'd tried it. Wow! It was sensational! I've tried thousands of these, I am Greek Cypriot but love Turkish wraps, this was the best I'd ever had. I will be going back, the quality was second to none, could be a little cheaper though! Fantastic!!

Food is good but price has got ridiculous and they add service charge automatically.

This place used to be a very regular spot for myself and my friends. Wraps used to cost £7. Good value, great food. This was maybe two years ago. Now the same wraps are £12!! Zero increase in quality, in an area with frozen business rates. Needless to say they've lost our regular business. Hope it's worth it for the match days.

Too expensive the menu you see in Google is old .. Helap and 1 glass of coke was 27.80 way too much money come with salad and bread no rice . Rice was 4.50 ... Definitely won't go back I'd rather go to harringrey to a proper restaurant where the food is better and cheaper

This used to be a decent quality kebab but on the last 2 occasions the standard has been very poor. It seems the individuals cooking are not paying any attention to the timing and which has resulted in very hard and chewy chicken and inedibly hard bread. £16 for a chicken shish box to takeaway at that quality is criminal

Family owned business, decor is simple and quaint designed.The customer Service was definitely 10/10 They were quick to take our orders and were very accommodating to all our needs. I ordered the chefs special lamb ribs, I opted for the chips instead of rice, this was recommended by my freind. one taste of it I was amazed how delicious it was, the flavour of it up until now is still on my mind I can never forget. Now am thier regular customer!

Apart from the fact that this is the best Turkish in North London, the food is delicious & staff so lovely, they also sent me a get well note and a free baklava when I said in the deliveroo notes that I was sick with COVID so needed contact free delivery. Legends.

Hi everyone I hope you are all well and safe I had the worst experience in my life with this restaurant!!! I been going to this restaurant for over 10 years when I went in there couple of months ago they served me gone of fish which I got food poisoning from I was so ill I nearly died !!! When I went back there they were very abusive towards me, they took matters in their own hands and called some police officers off duty to threaten me!!!

Excellent !!! I went with my partner and we had an amazing experience. We both ordered a plate of chicken cubes and lamb kebab. The portion is filling and we did not order any starter or dessert as the portion size is great. It's enjoyable to see your food cooked fresh and delicious. The price is unbeatable and would highly recommend to anyone. The staff is very helpful, which is an absolute rare find.

while eat out to help out was on the restaurant was quite busy and none of the staff were wearing visors or masks or gloves. The food was okay pretty basic if your a vegetarian, the falafel was disappointing I don't think they made it. My bf liked his food he's a meat eater, they have huge portions so I would only order a main. Since then i have gone there for takeaway wraps which are really good and filling lots of salad and pieces of meat or veg option inside. I like the halloumi and falafel wrap.
