We had a solid and delicious breakfast. I loved the Americano coffee with milk, which tasted neither too thin nor overly bitter (a thing I find hard to achieve😂). The owner Gazi and his family were extremely friendly and kind. Highly recommended place with a cozy atmosphere!

And if you're not, there's Clapton overground just down the road to get you there 😉 My 5 stars against the quality of food, service & atmosphere is an understatement. Terrific place, has fab food 😋 friendly attentive waiters, AND a clean nice toilet! Shall revisit (even though I don't live local)👌 as walking the canals nearby is a lovely way to spend some relaxing time after a week at work 😎

I went there last Saturday evening with 10 friends of mine, the service was unbelievably friendly and funny, the wines were amazing and the food even better. I went back yestarday with my partner and I can't wait to go back again.

Very poor experience on Saturday morning. Went with my friend for a morning take out coffee. Not only the gentleman behind the counter appeared moody and not welcoming, my flat white cost 3.70£ with standard milk and my friend's americano 3£. Very surprised about such high prices in this area. Giving 2* only because café decor was cute and the quality of coffee good.

Very friendly service, with a good selection of food for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. The coffee was great, and they have the usual options of milk alternatives too. The only negative was that the vegetarian sausages weren't the best we've had, but this wouldn't stop us from going back (we may just opt to swap out the sausage for something else)

Mosaic is a nice Turkish cafe well known to the person I went with. She said that the owner could be a bit grumpy, but she liked him and his cafe. The menu looked promising but we weren't hungry and just had a drink, my friend had a well made cappuccino and I had a very good mint tea made with fresh mint and served, correctly, with honey to sweeten. I'll definitely go back again when I'm hungrier. I'm an old aficionado of The Z Bar Café in Stoke Newington and Mosaic is like that used to be, which is a good thing. I'm glad to have it near. The music was too loud, a sadly common mistake.

Always a beautiful place to visit. Very friendly service. The cook actually brings your order to your table. Such a personal touch.

A lovely hidden Oasis amongst this very busy road, a great place if you fancy some really strong coffee ! They have a great food menu which they are happy to adapt if you would like anything takeaway, (I had the Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs) with really great portions too. Highly recommended.

My favourite cafe in Clapton. The coffee is lovely, food is always very tasty with a great selection of sweet treats and the owner really goes the extra mile to make sure you're well looked after. I just collected my takeaway lunch bag to find some complimentary sweet potato fries and an extra tortilla wrap. Excellent customer service and value for money.

Decent food, OK service and very reasonably priced meals with a good range of options. I liked the seating area just outside under the shade yet allowing just the right amount of sunshine in. Whilst the location is not ideal (sitting outside, the pavement is not very wide, so the traffic is close proximity) and wouldn't be suitable option for those with asthma or any other respiratory condition, it's a nice little find in this area. Definitely worth checking out.

An excellent independently run cafe with the best Menemen in East London (tried and tested). Really friendly owner and a good vibe inside with all the plants and paintings and candles. Thank you for staying open in lockdown!

Been to this cafe quite a few times. The service is always good as is the food. Never have to wait too long either. It is one of the more pricey cafes in the area BUT its not expensive expensive as the other cafes are greasy spoons. Coffee is GREAT! Will probably pop in tomorrow

I was unable to enter your cafe due a dog barking at me. It's not a good idea to leave a badly behaved dog on the doorstep. I'm a dog owner and I would never leave my dog unattended like that. Won't bother returning.

Pityful portions....far too expensive for the amount of food served, the poached egg was small enough to fit in a teaspoon, 1 measly sausage 2 rashers of bacon and a portion of beans served in an egg cup left me still famished and rather bemused by the gaping hole left in my wallet as a result of the outing.......almost 30 quid and I'm still hungry?????

I find there just aren't enough good places in London offering brunch at times Londoners are actually likely to rock up, so it was a blessing to discover Mosaic offers brunch until 3pm. Good website and description of foods and a really nice atmosphere and decor. The staff were friendly and provided a timely service. They have made a good effort to include both classic British food as well as Mediterranean influences, without spoiling either. I will definitely be returning soon!

We visit mosaic semi-regularly and have always loved our experience here. Coffee is excellent and the menemen is my favourite, especially with the bread! Have had nothing but polite and courteous customer service here :)

I always go here when in London for an English breakfast. Staff a really friendly and service is quick. By far the best fry up ever. Everything very tasty and cooked to perfection. The coffee gives Italian bistros a run for there money. And the bloody Mary was spicy and delicious.

Tried this place for the first time this weekend after walking past multiple times and thinking it looked nice. We were served fairly quickly and could get a seat easy - decor was cutte and waitress was friendly. After checking the menu and noticing the slogan "Sex, menemen & rock'n'roll" we decided to both try the menemen, assuming that as their speciality dish it would be really good. Wrong assumption to have made. After a ridiculously long wait (it wasn't that busy either) we were presented with the smallest portion I've ever paid £7.50 for which was not made up for in flavour at all. Literally the blandest eggs either of us had ever had - the whole thing just tasted of watery tomatoes. Best thing about it was the Turkish bread of which we received what we could only assume was a one person portion between the two of us so couldn't even enjoy that for long. Would have written it off as a "just don't go back" and moved on but the price came to £21.10 including a vanilla latte and a orange juice which I would have been happy paying had this been a good meal. But having left completely dissatisfied I'm angry at having paid £20+ for so little. I'm only judging this place based on the one dish but it was bad enough that I don't want to give it another chance. To be fair - the coffee was really good.

What a lovely oasis in Clapton, am extremely friendly and well run café with a wide range of healthy and less healthy options. Vegans and carnivores are catered for with equal gusto. Freshly pressed juices, rich coffee options, creative smoothies along with a good range of breakfast and lunch options that have English and Mediterranean influences.

Have been here numerous times to enjoy the food, fresh juice & great coffee. It is a real shame it is now a so much less pleasant experience thanks to the unprofessional waitress. For a nice atmosphere I would recommend Dialogue jist up the road or any of the numerous cafes down the road.

I love this place, staff and owners are really nice and the food is great.

Run by a father and son team, has a real chilled atmosphere and have never felt rushed, even when they're busy. I first tried this place about 5 years ago and it had a bit of an identity crisis back then - the menu was a real mishmash and though the staff were friendly, the decor and setup wasn't inviting. They've since made a lot of changes and given the place an identity. The menu is now focused around the idea of all day breakfast, though it would be nice to have a wider range of options, I understand the practical challenges. A real gem, well worth visiting. Oh and try the fresh mint tea!

For my second visit in a fortnight they still have no decaff coffee in. Very frustrating and limiting for those who are unable to drink caffeine. Only other soft drink options are very sugary or plain old water.....
