First of all it was chaos as I stepped in. Then asked for a simple alteration to one of the menu items and was told “it still might come with cheese though because the chef is stubborn” to which I replied almost laughing “what do you mean” to which the person at the counter just kind of smiled and shrugged. I randomly took my friend from France to Blighty after reading excellent reviews and we were blown away ! The English breakfast ( with bone marrow!!!) is out of this world and the service super friendly and authentic. Quirky decor and bonus back garden with optional heater at each table. My daughter who’s 14 loved it too. It’s a gem!

We had tea, coffee and cakes in the establishment yesterday afternoon. The brownie and banana bread was delicous as was the coffee. The staff were friendly, chatty and helpful. Very pleased we found this place as it stands out ,amongst the other shops and numersous take aways nearby.

You're deluded if you think that you can charge £12.50 for a breakfast and then make customers wait 1 hour for nothing. An absolute s**t show from start to finish today. Glad everyone this morning demanded their money back as it was a shambles and not even an apology. If you have to close your doors becasue you can't serve a handful of people you're probably in the wrong job. Awful.

Went here for a birthday brunch. At first was a little alarmed as the menu seemed to have changed but it turns out some favourites have just been renamed. The drop scones are really the same as what was previously called pancakes much to the relief of my daughter. Service was prompt and friendly, the food well cooked and delicious. Top notch breakfast/brunch.

So looking around where our daughter will be living for the next 12 months we stumbled across this amazing place. Food and service were fantastic, cooked to perfection and staff so hospitable. If they served evening meals we would of ate there again the same day! Next time we visit we will be back. Keep up the amazing work.
