Amazing - great food and very friendly staff

First time eating in my local area after living here for 20 years. (Broadway market has changed so much) Had a lovely selection for lunch with a friend. The food was tasty and cooked very well. Good portion and the sangria was lovely too. (Don’t change too much) Will definitely return.

Amazing food with quick service, great wine selection and the staff were amazing. The atmosphere was great - the whole place singing happy birthday and dancing on tables. The staff could not be faulted. 10/10 would be coming back again, loved it.

What an incredible place! The food we ate was delicious (I especially loved the courgette flower and wild mushroom with artichoke) my husband said the patatas bravas were the best he’s ever had and I finished my meal with an incredible cheesecake. The atmosphere was somehow the perfect balance of cosy and lively and the service was brilliant.

Really lovely food and friendly service. The cheese croquettes special and courgette flower were particularly nice, as was the sangria jug. Would certainly revisit if we were in the area.

If I could marry a dish, I’d marry the Gambas al Ajillo at this tapas joint. First of all, let’s talk about these shrimp. They weren’t just shrimp; they were little oceanic explosions of garlicy, buttery perfection. I swear, the moment I bit into them, my taste buds formed a cult and started chanting, “More! More!” The garlic? A symphony. The shrimp? As if Neptune himself had handpicked them, coated them in liquid gold, and gently whispered, “You are ready.” But wait, it gets weirder. You have to eat these shrimps with the bread. The bread is not just bread; it’s a humble piece of cloud that’s secretly made of dreams. Dipping it into the garlicky sea of shrimp essence was like inviting a fairy into my mouth and asking her to sprinkle magic dust everywhere. As for the rest of the tapas – they were all so good that I’m still looking for the words to describe it. Each dish arrived like a quirky little friend who tells you exactly what you needed to hear. The patatas bravas? Don’t even get me started. The crispy edges were like a warm hug from an old friend who knows exactly how you like it. To sum up: This place didn’t just serve me food. It served me an experience so powerful that I’m considering starting a shrine in the corner of my kitchen, dedicated to the Gambas al Ajillo. It was like a tiny, delicious carnival exploded in my mouth, and I never want the ride to stop. 10/10 would return.

The food was hearty, delicious and plenty. What made the tastes even better was that exquisite Flamenco performance on the night adding to the Spanish flavours and atmosphere. You'd hope the manager would light the stage a little better next time and we will be back then.

Great food nicely presented. I'm surprised this place is not more popular on Sunday, but lucky us, I guess. Poached duck eggs were a very interesting twist, and make sure to order their pancake as it is indeed a perfect finisher.

Great food, service and atmosphere! Went for brunch tried the Turkish and English breakfast, both very tasty and fresh. They get the sourdough bread from e5 which is one the best bakeries. Pancake was perfectly texture and toppings.

Tolga, a very friendly person, served an amazing service—he let us dance on the tables and welcomed us with contagious energy. The atmosphere was fantastic, truly unmatched. And the food? Perfect! Manuel, the chef, wowed us with beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious dishes. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here for my 2 year anniversary, and had a wonderful time! Was greeted by a lovely server who said he loved our energy and gave us the perfect outdoor table on Broadway Market Street. Our server Sasha was just lovely - great recommendations on food and drinks, in particular making sure we ordered some bread dishes to mop up all the oil! At the end of our night she was accommodating of my off menu desert request AND even brought us a couple of Liquor 43s! She was great, we'll definitely be back soon with family because of her:)

Randomly chosen for a bite of lunch today and highly pleased with our decision of tapas at El Ganso. Dishes all freshly prepared and brought hot to the table. Really delicious with the Zucchini flower and squid our favourites. Nice to see authentic neighbourhood restaurants serving great food still exist.

Good food and gluten free bread, they try to be as flexible as possible and accommodate for gluten free options! I would definitely recommend it ♥️

Amazing lunch, sitting in the summer sun, enjoying the most delicious tapas - freshest ingredients served with style - esp the DIY Pane con Tamate - so very tasty.

Over priced food, not that good. I orderd scrambled eggs 2x at £12.50 each, when I got the bill I was charged £27.00 instead of £25.00. I do not like being ripped off.

Chic atmosphere but low quality food. I got sick from eating the pork belly and meatballs here. The pork belly was also 90% fat which made it almost inedible. Service was good though.

Sasha the waitress was fantastic and provided excellent service (give her a promotion!), always smiling and gave us great recommendations. Tuna tacos were also sensational, highly recommend.

Buzzy tapas restaurant with incredible food. We go every year for our anniversary and it smashes it out the park every time. Personal favourites are the gambas (giant juicy tiger prawns are always amazing) and the croquetas, pork belly too. Always 10/10. I ordered two plates of prawns knowing I would eat them all to myself , muahahah.

Nice tapas around the area! Table was a little too small with not much space for the 4 of us. Service could have been a little better.

What a place. Spent my 30th birthday celebrations here and Tolga, Sasha, Jayna, Secil, Yulia and the team were so welcoming, warm and incredible. I couldn’t recommend a restaurant more! Get here for the vibes and stay for the food!

Friendly welcome to an obviously popular place. Stopped for brunch on market day and had lovely poached eggs on sourdough. Lots of other great brunch options available as well. Staff were lovely and their attention to detail was excellent. A great place to stop and also offered good range of wines, sherries and tapas for later in the day.

Such a good idea for a birthday party we had so much fun. We all got on the tables to sing and dance and it was hilarious. Food is great too.

Just had a late dinner here and they made space for us even though it was quite busy and we were a large group, very nice food and atmosphere, will come again!

The place and the foods were good but not impressive. We were informed that the reservation duration was 1.5 hours, which was not mentioned when we made the reservation. As someone living in London, I have been to many restaurants with similar concepts. This is the first time I have experienced a 1.5-hour reservation limit for a party of five, and I must say it is not a sufficient amount of time. I hope the restaurant management takes this into consideration, as it is quite unpleasant to have the bill brought to your table before you've finished your dinner due to a time constraint you were not aware of.

I just had the best time at El Ganso. Sat in the sun, ate delicious croquettas, tortilla (nice and juicy), pan con tomate and more. Nothing like some good food and a spritz in the sun and of course, Tolga (the top legend) looking after us with a super smiley vibe and attention to detail 🌞💯

Easily the best restaurant on that strip! Fresh seafood (which is hard to get in London), punchy flavours, and you can tell they really put care into there food. The staff were lovely, attentive and very generous! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Full English is not quite as fantastic as it was a couple of years ago (different sausage!), but still well above average and not the best at frying runny eggs. But overall the food is good tasty with good portions, it can be difficult to get a table sometimes so many call and book on weekends. Updated at least a year since my last one .. and the quality of food is worse again (still way better than your average) Please can somone teach thr cooks how to fry eggs ! A sunny side up egg shouldn't be burnt to a crisp on one side and have uncooked egg white on thr other .. stop frying the egg on a grill so hot !! Really basic your cooking eggs on something so hot it burns one side of the egg before the top is cooked though. If they could cook eggs they would be back to a 4 or 5

Can never fault this restaurant! The team are always so welcoming, accommodating and helpful! The food is fantastic! (Croquettes all day!!!) The location and atmosphere is always brilliant too. We will keep coming back for birthdays, meetings and when our fridge is bare!

Nice atmosphere , Sunday evening lovely weather ,shame about the quality of the pork belly which was overcooked,. 3 cheeses on a £25 cheeseboard was absolutely a joke , only one Spanish cheese , manchego , some dodgy chutney and stale walnuts with a very brown looking apple sliced thinly. Not once were we asked how was our meal or would we like another drink Service was abysmal in fact . In my opinion not Spanish Tapas

The outdoor heaters kept us cozy as we enjoyed delicious tapas and sangria on a chilly Friday night. Efe and Jayna provided beyond excellent service, and the team made us feel right at home. Will be returning
