Lovely Klaudia ( who served us ) brought us genuine hospitality and grest food from chef Maxine. The team at the Ballot Box headed by the legendary Dean are a marvel. If you want a nice day , walk around Horsenden Hill and eat and drink here
Ps pets are welcome
An excellent Indian dinner at Mehfil, that evoked memories of my recent trips to Delhi, Indore and Dharamsala.
Food was outstanding, faultless. As two people used to the usual ‘Indian’ fare served in this country, it was great for us to travel to Mehfil and taste truly authentic Indian food cuisine.
Extraordinarily well-priced for food and drink, and blessed to have Frank as our waiter who navigated our way through the menu brilliantly.
Will indubitably return!
Excellent takeaway. Haven't tasted a curry of this quality for years (plus perfect naan and rice). Excellent friendly and efficient service too.

Bonitos entrantes (teníamos el pollo tikka y paneer tikka) , increíbles currys (teníamos un pollo korma, cordero jalfrezi y kathmandu pollo curry). Gran servicio y buen ambiente, tranquilo. Lo recomiendo 100%!
This pub is great. Massive parking free to customers, big garden with benches and outdoor tv, clean and nice decor, friendly service, great hot food, darts, indoor tvs with live sport, toy grabbinv machines for kids and great selection of meals snd beverages. When I visited in the evening the outdoor lights arround the pub created very nice atmosphere. Its a little bit hidden so worth paying a visit to. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was a lot of people there-mostly families with kids but by the evening time there was mostly just adults.
We had the "Fish and Chips" and "The Next Level" burger. Food was very good. Burger was one of the best. Burgers in the UK are finally rivaling or exceeding the quality of what one is used to in the US. Fish and Chips was also very good. Large fish and not overly covered with batter. The food took longer than I had hoped to arrive, but to me that meant it was fresh.
Service was enthusiastic but it seems like wait staff are getting younger and younger and maybe not so well-trained by the standards of us "more experienced" folks.
The place was almost empty compared to neighboring eateries which seemed quite crowded. Maybe it's a couple quid more expensive than the other places, but we enjoy privacy and not having to shout to make ourselves heard. The best deals are the 2 or 3 course prix fixe menus. Choosing from that menu we got a dessert for an extra couple of pounds rather than the 5 pound+ a la carte price.
I would eat here again as the choice of very good restaurants in Ealing is not great.
We have been to this restaurant a few times before and the food has always been good. Went for lunch with our young children last Saturday. There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He took our orders (katsu curry, rice, sashimi) after 15 minutes of waiting. The sashimi and rice came after 20 minutes but the curry never came. We were very patient and waited for a whole HOUR!!! We asked the waiter and he just kept making excuses (clearly they forgot the order). No apologies at all from the waiter. We decided to leave and they had the audacity to ask for payment. W asked to speak with the manager who said he was too busy to attend to us. VERY POOR experience and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone.
No vamos a volver.
