The best restaurants in Maida Vale City of London, Westminster London

Absolutely gorgeous food and wonderful service. We came on a Saturday night and had such a lovely evening. We all shared our starters they were all delicious and the mains were brilliant as well. Would definitely come back. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

A menudo he ido a casa de Noaman, a veces para un almuerzo rápido, más a menudo para un café. El "sentimiento" general es norteafricano. El mejor café que conozco en Londres! Por no hablar de la sabrosa baclava - pasteles mediterráneos estilo. Sami y Nacer son alegres y acogedores, buena comida y muy barato. Bueno para el desayuno y el almuerzo. Cierran antes de la noche, por lo que no sirven cenas.

Almost perfect. If only the duck and the beef (on the skewers) had been a little less over-cooked they would have been as terrific as everything else

The Carlton Tavern is located on the edge of the Paddington Recreation Ground, which is a park in Maida Vale, City of Westminster. In the 70’s & 80’s I used to visit the Park to race on my bike as there was a Velodrome there. I visited The Carlton Tavern for a reunion of us old racing cyclists who used to race on the Paddington velodrome. There was a seating area outside of the pub where we all enjoyed the company and sunshine. The staff were very patient with us all as we all drank too much and were showing our age reminiscing about things before most of them were born. There were quite a lot of us, and the staff served us in a timely manner, and I have no complaints. I was initially disappointed when I arrived that they did not serve Guinness (My tipple of choice) but the staff offered me an alternative “London Black, Porter” which I must admit was a great alternative, so I was a happy chap. I would happily return if I was in the area.

Fomos muito bem atendidas porém o restaurante agora não serve mais comida portuguesa. Comi um peito de frango acompanhado de arroz branco que estava ok. Mas o atendimento foi nota dez !

Really nice place with really good food, would’ve been perfect if they had the coconut roll available but a great time Nishika was very nice and a great host 🙂

Gemytlig stämning med bra personal. Maten var riktigt god, prisvärd vill jag nog säga. Hit kan jag gå igen. god öl dessutom.

Tipico pub inglese un po’ buio e fatiscente, ma frequentato da locali. Il menu è abbastanza vario. Il servizio è gentile. Il Cibo non è stato esaltante. L’hamburger era fatto con il pane da supermercato e il chicken burger era una fettina e il petto di pollo un po’ secca. Il Chicken grilled invece erano due fettine speziate ma sempre un po’ secche. Nella media il fish and chips che era anche una buona porzione.

£ 7 . 40 para dos babyccinos. No capuchinos. Babyccinos. £ 7. 40 , y no convencerlos de lo contrario. Y a los niños ni siquiera les gustaban. Aparentemente el único café en el mundo que ve babyccinos como un ejercicio de aumento de precios. Y tienen la osadía de presentarse como un restaurante de barrio que necesita el apoyo de la comunidad. Gasta tu dinero en otra parte.

Nicely decorated and friendly service! The menu had lots of food and drinks to choose from, hot and cold. However, I think the food quality and particularly the size of the portions does not correlate with the price tag.

I wouldn’t feed my dog with this crap they try to pass off as food. The people here can’t make a coffee to save their lives

We wandered in for bank holiday monday lunch. We had 3 different dishes and really enjoyed them all, in particular the beef noodle soup with a thick soup, morning glory and little bit of chilli.
