The best restaurants in Bexley London

Quite a new establishment in the area. Came in for a takeaway coffee recently, but didn’t get any food so can’t comment on that. The coffee was nice and they seem to have a lot of fresh produce on offer. Seems like a nice concept, I wish them all the best.

We eat at this restaurant regularly. Took a party of 20 in April and everyone loved food and service. Definitely going back soon. Pat & Dawn

We had a great breakfast and a burger. The food was amazing and stuff was friendly as expected according to the previous reviews. ☺️The price is so reasonable when comparing the quality! We will definitely come back again😂

Not surprised Merlicci's had remained No.1 in Bexley all these years. Popped in there for a quick brunch with my daughter today and had a perfect lasagna with salad and a focaccia. Loved the vibe sitting there surrounded by a delicious food counter full of lovelies. Service was familiar and relaxed. We will make this our regular haunt from now on. Thanks guys.

A wonderful example of a micropub and its positive impact on the community.

We had a wonderful group meal for Mother’s Day. The food was abundant and the service was quick and attentive. I definitely recommend the homemade halloumi fries and the lamb skewers, which were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. My only minor issue was that while the lamb skewers were cooked to perfection, the steak skewers were chewy and well done (we weren’t asked how we preferred the steak). It would be great if they could check preferences, as the lamb was super succulent. The complimentary bread and olives were a lovely touch too. One small suggestion for improvement would be for the waitress to write down drink orders, as remembering the drinks for five people can be tricky - she did kindly check back with us but unfortunately missed one drink. All in all, the food was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be back!

We visited the Bookstore café on Saturday 21st December after discovering that this lovely location had recently reopened on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We enjoyed some really tasty homemade soup, one was chicken and the other sausage and carrots, both had very generous portions of meat. The drinks on offer included freshly made coffee and fruit flavoured kombucha. The cake selection was very good, especially as it included small slices of tiramisu, which made a nice change. I have joined their loyalty club to get even better value when we come back, which I hope will be soon.

Amazing Wippy ice cream cone ever , fabulous , delicious , creamy and cornet was crumbly with chocolate on the bottom, this beats any ice cream parlour around, best ever, if your love a Whippy then this is thw place to go 🤗

Hard to imagine what the community of Falconwood would do without this cheery little boozer. Friendly staff, good drinks, and a fantastic pub quiz every month. They make the most of the space they have with a buzzing front room, bright and airy back room, and a covered front for summer days.
