We really enjoyed an impromptu visit here after a good walk. Terrific beer.

Friendly pub with owners that know their stuff. They always have different beers on so a brilliant place if you like trying something new. Friendly to all customers including dogs, and fine with children although they aren't especially catered to.

If you like micro pubs please visit Price point ; extremely reasonable most beers are less than 4.50 Good selection of local beers and hip nationals . Flight boards on offer if you want to try a few. Fantastic range of ciders with snails bank being a mainstay. Takeaway service in a 2 pint offer if you want to avoid drink driving. If you like cocktails they have them available. Gin lovers will benefit with their gin of the week. Guinness is available. Dogs and children are also welcome. Music playlist is a selection of 70s and 80s music. Dart competition, quiz and raffles happen regularly. The service is top notch and the locals are very pleasant and welcoming. Honestly I love this place and would highly recommend it.

Good micropup. I highly reccomend their cocktails. 6.45 for a cocktail is a nice price for what you get. Nice quick service and a very clean micropup 👍🏻

This is a great little place with an interesting selection of ales from the micro brewery and other drinks. An excellent Plum Porter (£4.30) and a very good classic bitter (£4.20). Snacks but no food.

I said I would write a review! Me and my wife and friends visited the penny Farthing for the first time. Like it very clean , nicely set out good verity of different drinks. Well done 👏 to the owners Keep up the good work. Definitely will be visiting again 😊

This is a great little place. Fantastic real-ales on tap, good choice of cocktails and ciders, they even made us a cup of tea. Lovely relaxed vibe. Would have been 5 star but there's not much choice if you're a lager drinker.

1st time I've visited with the new owners 30/4/22, Saturday afternoon/evening. Staff and locals friendly and informative, nothing was a problem for them. They've upgraded the decor very well. Wonderful place, ale and cider 1st Class. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

A wide range of real ales at great prices ,it has a lovely ambiance which is unspoilt by mobile phones .Conversations with other patrons are easy started or if you prefer a quite pint without any hassle then it's the place to frequent.

Love this little micro pub! Staff are friendly and chatty as well as extremely accommodating. They have a wonderful range of drinks, ale for my partner and I love the variety of ciders they have.

Extremely friendly micro pub. Mobile phones to be on silent plus no television but people talk to each other. Good selection of real ales. Wine and cider if you prefer.

If you're REALLY into beer/ale and not much else, this is a great place. There genuinely isn't anything else.... other than some stools and tables. Absolutely no entertainment.... nothing. .... at all. That's it. Beer is good though. Just be quiet.
