Great look, great people, great atmosphere, great food. The service and etiquette here is top. The chef spoke with me, the waitresses couldn’t do enough for me. The food tasted like there was real love as a main ingredient, which for me is key. Even my dairy allergy was recognized and supplement for. We had the mixed Kebab with everything and it was fantastic!!! Over the years I have had a few Kebabs and this was the best one I have ever had. The meat was really tender and moist and the Donner meat was like Catnip. Not fatty or salty and really tasty apparently they make their own on the premises. Cant wait for another one !!

Best Donna kebab I've had in many years. All the food was presented with care and the service was excellent even though they were very busy. It just shows that kebab doesn't have to be covered in grease and fat all this and I only had a takeaway excellent.

Can only repeat what has been said previously. Fantastic. The take away menu you see online doesn’t do the business justice. Appears a little plain, when the truth is, that was the best mixed kebab I have ever eaten. Both chicken and lamb of good quality. Coupled with the fact that it was cooked over hot coals, also a lovely side salad, bulgur rice and bread for £12, could have charged me £15 and I would have paid it. Lovely people and wish you all the best for 2024.

Far and away the Turkish food in the area , an absolute level above all other restaurants we’ve been to, Ali and the team provide a top service and food to match, the platter is to die for and if you have a healthy appetite. A must try. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Tried my first takeaway tonight. Was a really nice experience as they were super friendly. I was given Turkish tea while I waited. The food was very good and generous. I think the price is fair and competitive too. I’ll definitely be back!

I went in for a shish kebab and came out truly over-whelmed with joy! Hospitality was outstanding from the very first moment I entered - I was welcomed in by the manager and the waitress. The staff were thoroughly lovely and all took the care to chat with me while I waited for the food to be freshly cooked. The food was exceptional with the lamb shish being very tender and very very tasty, and its flat bread was very tasty too. Both were served properly hot. The salad and salsa were refreshing and enjoyable; rice, grains and chips were tasty and a good portion; I strongly recommend both the baklava and the cheesecake (both very tasty indeed). The food is all very reasonably priced. I live very far from Baba's and go to this area only occasionally to see my family, but I shall definitely make a point of returning - next time I look forward to enjoying the tiramisu! I went in there for some food. owner “ I’ll see what I can do for you” He pull out very chewy kebab like it’s camel meat.. You can get much better kebab elsewhere.. pride in their self’s.. I own three properties which surpasses 1.1 million pounds I do not behave this way. We are people give us what we are here for real kebab… I’ve been all over but if this is Turkish kebab they are doing Turkish people wrong and Istanbul would not even expect this as kebab. Just giving free Turkish tea don’t mean you are doing your country right. This is no way a Turkish experience

Babas kebab house is a modern Turkish restaurant and take away, it is clean and friendly with a personal touch, wether you are eating in or having a take away the service is high. The restaurant has an open grill where you can watch your food being cooked, There are so many excellent dishes on the menu it’s hard to choose, I had the very popular chicken shish wrap, full of succulent chicken pieces and fresh salad topped off with a sauce of your choice, it really is 10 / 10. They also boast a wide choice of drinks including an impressive cocktail menu, all the cocktails are made by trained staff, they even have a signature cocktail. So even if you order a take out you can still have a cocktail or beer sitting at the viewing window watching you food being prepared.

Upon arriving was greeted by 2 great lads very welcoming and great customer service, I usually don’t write reviews but the experience I had here deserves it , on top of that I had the lamb doner wrap and I would say it’s the best around cooked well and served with fresh salad and a nice chilli sauce will definitely return keep up the great work guys.

Some of the best Turkish food in South London! The atmosphere of the restaurant is so unique and amazing, kind of like a modern furnace if that makes sense. The food was sublime, I had a mixed lamb and chicken shish and it was the first time I ever had to lick a plate clean due to how lovely everything went together!

1st time trying this takeaway after hearing so many people highly recommend it , when we arrived staff was very friendly and helpful , lovely meat display and open cooking area , Food was so fresh and great flavours cooked in front you and prepared quickly We even had some Turkish Tea while we waited mmmm , the portion sizes wow we are all stuffed , highly recommend

Went in this week for a Doner Kebab and Chips, although waited 15 mins in an empty shop around mid afternoon. The worker had from the looks of it given me an already cut and cooked kebab which was disgusting! I couldn’t even eat it I threw most of it away as it was dry, chewy and had no taste to it… To make things worst the way the guy packed the bag he put the box of food in sideways so all the sauce and oil was pouring out the bag and once opened it was upside down… Ive been here before and was a lot better when they originally opened but I won’t be returning back to here, owners please wake up and get rid of the silly staff you have and bring in better people to run your business or run it yourselves I’m so disappointed with the last visit and most likely will now use another local..

A newly reopened Turkish restaurant and wow what can I say. If you can compete with the cue of happy customers getting takeaways I actually sat down for food in the restaurant area, perfect service and the ingredients was top notch , it seams they really have got it together, will definitely be a regular customer here. I went this Friday night to get a takeaway. I have to say the chops was absolutely amazing so soft melts in your mouth. The queue was out the door but expected for a Friday night. I didn't mind waiting for my food at all. The boss gave me a nice Turkish tea while I was waiting. I also had a lamb doner there which was the best I have ever tasted prue meat no fat. The food was piping hot when I got home No complaints from me. Keep doing what you are doing. I will definitely be back next week 👍 Also staff are so friendly and welcoming cant do enough for you

I and my husband visited the restaurant on Friday and despite the long queue outside, we had an amazing dining experience. The food was exceptional. We had Babas platter with fresh and high-quality meat that was cooked to perfection. I could really taste the difference in the freshness of the ingredients, which added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff managed to deliver excellent service and ensure that all customers were well taken care of. Was looking for an authentic Turkish Kebab house and finally found one. Am over on business and love Turkish food but sampled a few restaurants within a 10miles radius of were I am staying and was not impressed. I was just passing Babas Kebab House and said I had nothing to lose seeing I was in the area and was glad I stopped in. I was not disappointed. The food was amazing I ordered a Babas platter. The food was well cooked and nicely presented on the plate and the taste unbelievable. The Portion size was very generous struggled to finish it all. The staff were very friendly and attentive, asking was everything to my satisfaction, which it was. I will definantly be back next time I am in the area. A great Kebab house not to be missed.

OUTSTANDING RESTAURANT HIGHLY RECCOMEND! Since opening I have been to Baba's on several occasions to eat in and to take away. I CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH! The food is phenomenal, cannot fault it, and I have tried everything on the menu! The staff and owners are such lovely people, they treat you like family, even my quiet 9 year old son specifically asks to go there because they are so welcoming. If you haven't yet tried - you're missing out! I'm only ever disappointed when they are closed. Thank you Baba's Team , See you soon !

I had lamb doner wrap from here on Saturday night and was absolutely amazing prue meat no fat. I also tried the lamb chops which me and my daughter loved so much! It was so soft the meat melts in your mouth. I did had to wait a little for my food which was expected being Saturday night the queue was out the door which to me is always a good sign. The babas salad is unreal you must try it! The staff was so friendly couldn't do enough for us. The boss gave me a free turkish tea and made my daughter a non alcohol cocktail to have while I was waiting which was lovely Even though they were so busy.. This will be my new weekly takeaway kebab place from now on keep up the good work 👍highly recommend this place x

Hands down the best kebab I’ve had. I have tried various dishes and every single one is insanely good. The Doner Kebab is amazing, and doesn’t taste of fat like it does in every other kebab house. I will only eat doner from Baba’s kebab. The chicken Shish…wow, and the kofte has a lovely little hint of spice, just yum! Extremely reasonably priced. Amazing quality of food and portion. EVERYTHING is cooked fresh, you really couldn’t ask for more!

Maybe a coach turned up before me … I ordered a large Shish kebab, with chilli & salad to take away… I gave up after waiting 20 mins and nothing!! The owner will know me from next door!! Totally dissolutioned !! And the thanks for waiting 20 mins & no food is I left smelling like a barbecue! 🤬🤬 I will not be coming again🤬🤬

Having tried so many kebab houses, this one I haven't tried before as they don't deliver. Wow. The place is the cleanest kebab house I have ever seen. The staff were all exceptionally warm and wanted to chat whilst I waited. The owner came over to me to see how I was and he was really proud of his restaurant and told me who all his staff were. When I got home and had the kebab it was succulent and very tasty with the freshest salad. My wife's chicken kebab was very nice too. Thank you so much We will come back again and again

We went for my wife’s birthday myself, wife. Picked up a takeaway from here one Saturday night. I made a pre telephone order to save some waiting. The food was really nice, meat was cooked perfectly and there was plenty of rice and chips. I’m looking forward to trying this place again

Just bought 2 donor kebabs and 1 portion of chips £22. It was definitely the worst kebab I have had. The donor meat was dry, powdery and tasteless. The salad was vinergary and mean. And the chips were soggy, greasy and under cooked. Never again.

Ordered a collection last night and it was delicious. Portion was generous and there was a bonus of pitta bread and drinks. Will defiantly order again.

Ordered Baba's Mixed Kebab, Lamb Chops and Chicken Wings as takeaway collection. All food cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, the cuts of meat used for the lamb chops and lamb shish were very good quality. Their chilli and garlic sauces are really good too. Will be coming back again, keep up the good work guys!

I tried Baba's takeaway tonight for the first time. I had a large chicken shish with salad, peppers, tomatoes and Turkish bread. It was delicious right to the last mouthful. I'm so happy to finally have a quality Turkish restaurant within walking distance from my house. Well done guys, you've done it again.

George - this place is 100%, i walked in and they were tentative, the meat is the best ive ever had, 200% prime cuts, they were the best customer service ive ever had but the mixed grill combo was on another level, there a family runned business which shows that they love the people around the area, i was welcomed like a king in a baquet, there truely pros and you can tell the love they put in there food, best turkish around my area, proud to say that, love these guys, p.s the staff are amazing, thank you for the experience x
