Happy bellys cafe in Bexley

Was passing through Wednesday and found this amazing place near toolstation amazing atmosphere brilliant food and what a pleasant couple, with a busy shop all the food comes out fresh and spot on. Highly recomend

Excellent cafe the breakfast is excellent value for money and the lamb chop meal is delicious and well cooked The only downside is it does not open in the evening

This family run place has such a homely feel, the owner is so friendly and the best chef. I have had the pleasure of eating many meals from this place and the chef goes far and beyond to deliver the best tasting food and even tailor it to your needs. Also worth a mention, the beat chicken burger in london. Walk in.amd.ask for.the famlus HOROZ burger.

Great food go to the cafe every Saturday with my family always welcomed with the young noisy kids lovely family run cafe, delicious Turkish breakfast .

A regular haunt for Wednesday lunch. Engaging staff, nothing too much trouble and exceptional food. Food is hot, plentiful and delicious. Take note of the specials board, steak or chicken pie, Mediterranean chicken, or Wednesday Lamb all exceptional!!!

Take it from someone who has been to a lot of cafes in welling Happy Belly is by far the best, the food is delicious! Chef is such a nice warm hearted guy with excellent customer service and it does what it says on the tin loool you go in hungry and leave with a happy belly

Came to this cafe with mates, excellent food, lovely staff, v.well priced.. love it and back next week with more mates. Best food I've had from a cafe in years. They actually take pride in what they serve to customers and that's the reason I am going back, plus they are really clean.

This cafe has cheerfully innovated and evolved due to Covid. While all the major chains locked their doors and furloughed staff (at our expense) the Happy Bellies has continued to provide freshly cooked food throughout the Pandemic.

I really fancied a Fry up for brunch and ordered one of their set meals. The food was very hot, tasted fresh and delicious. The portions were very good. I was very satisfied. My husband had ordered a sausage sandwich and he was also happy with his order. Will definitely be ordering again!

We ate from here a few days ago after wanting to try them following all the amazing reviews. We had a chicken shish, a lamb shish and the apple pie & custard. The salad was very fresh and the chicken shish was extremely nice. Tender, not dry and the spices on the meat were very nice indeed. Unfortunately, there the good news ends. The lamb was fatty, chewy, gristly and bland. Thankfully there wasn't very much of it1 The wholemeal (??) pita seemed stale and the rice was very bland and hard. The apple pie was soggy from appearing to be microwaved and the custard was bland with no sweetness whatsoever and far too thick, a wallpaper paste consistency. I was left feeling nauseous for 12 hours after eating, and we didn't finish it. Given the reviews of this place, I was expecting far more but unfortunately I was left disappointed. Maybe reviews are based on content volume, you do get humus and rice as well as salad and pita. Maybe the reviews are based on comparison to other local kebabs in the area, they really aren't that good either. I don't know. But I really didnt see much in the way of evidence for the reviews I have seen on this place and I won't be returning or recommending. Sad, as I really was looking forward to eating from Happy Belly and wanted to like it.

We came here after reading the reviews so we though let's try food was good quality and quantity however my parter fried slice was hard but everything else was good lovely place for a good fry up parking right out side

My wife, son and I went for a Birthday breakfast on Saturday 7th October... the food and drinks were very tasty and substantial.. unfortunately, we had a table by the door, which left us feeling rather cold and the extractor fan is inadequate for the job as my wife had streaming eyes due to the smoke.. cannot fault this cafe for its food and prices, but could do with a refurb, especially in relation to the extractor fan...

I regularly visit this cafe. They are alway happy to accommodate to our needs and I would highly recommend it to anyone! You got try it to believe it.

If you are looking for a cafe to cure that hangover or just to get a bite to eat. Happy bellys is defiantly the place to go.

Myself and my husband have been here on a few occasions. The food is always lovely and the staff are very helpful and always polite and friendly. Would recommended to anyone and will definitely be going back!

This cafe is a real gem.I visit at least 3 times a weeks and have almost whatever I fancy even if it slightly differs from the menu.The chef is very good and his food tastes beautiful, the portions are extremely generous and you will never leave hungry from happy bellys.The Chicken Kebab is a signature dish, worth every penny and definitely worth the extra few minutes you wait for the chicken to be prepared to perfection.Omelettes are class and is the home made pie or daily special.Well done Happy Bellys i dont know what i would do without you.
