Had a meal today with my family, had the bacon and cheese burger, which was perfect. Thanks to Kyle with the suggestion and service. Great evening!

Came in last night for the quiz as ive heard its good it did not disappoint. Love every second of it. Whilst we where doing the quiz we decided we was going to get a bite to eat but wasnt sure what to get maxine suggested the scrum stack it was delisous i wanted another one but i was too fall

Had the best meal here last night, had the new scrum stack burger whilst taking part in the quiz. Thank you to Kyle for the suggestion. Was not disappointed! Can’t wait to have it again

Went to the george staples for a valentines meal, the places looks amazing, done it up really nicely for valentine’s day. I had amazing service by Frankie he gave us everything we needed and was very friendly made sure we had everything. Definitely recommend

Frankie and hannah were very welcoming and helpful the pub was valetime ready!!! All the pub was filled with love hearts and six nations flags everywhere what an amazing place.

Come in for a double date and ordered chicken bacon salad and my girlfriend meg ordered a burger they were mouth watering forgot what the others ordered lol. the pub was all smothered in love hearts and the actual sweet love heart on cardboard cut outs!! Very loving down here! Amazing place frankie keep up the good work!

Went down there today for valentines, the place has been decorated lovely, the food was very nice and the service from frankie was amazing, always checking up and making sure we had what we needed. Very kind and friendly place

Amazing place to go too took the mrs here for Valentine’s Day they had candles lit for me as I sat down with her. Amazing service fair play to the staff but Frankie was spectacular!

Ricky the manager has done a fantastic job of turning the place into a friendly and welcoming environment, expanding the events put on and investing heavily in the pub, from additional TVs to a board games shelf to pet station with treats and water. The team are superb and friendly, with a few old heads still remaining, my love going out to Bex. I make a point to return every time I'm home & can recommend the pub to anyone in the area looking for a pub with life in it! Well decorated, clean and tidy & well served pints, with rotating ales and some decent craft options.

They need physical id to enter, post that ridiculous £10 entry charge. It was struggle to buy drink once you are inside on x mas eve, and when asked for food, they said kitchen is closed. I won’t go again and won’t recommend this place for new year or some special days. Beer served in plastic glasses which seems unhygienic to me and pint of beer was £6.5

It was shut, due to no hot water. I didn't want hot water I wanted a pint of lager. Disappointed to say the least. 😢

Lindsay was a massive help to us. We had issues with service and she solely managed to help our out issue. She was very kind, helpful and patient.

A massive thank you to Ricky and the team especially Maxine and Frankie. My grandchildren really enjoyed the Halloween party. The pumpkin carving was good fun and a lovely lady did face painting. There was lots of activities to keep them entertained and they were given a party bag. Marine made sure all the children were OK and having fun while helping out behind the bar. Frankie always is welcoming and friendly so a fantastic time out. Thanks again I booked a table for my birthday for a family meal. I was given a card and chocolates by the pub which was very kind. The lady that served us at the bar remembered what we had and was very helpful. The service was excellent and all plates were cleared except for the kids as the roast dinner was such a generous portion for a 3 and 6 year old they did well. The young lad who brought out our food and keep taking our empties was excellent, very polite, friendly and was checking we were OK. The pub had a lovely friendly atmosphere and thank you for making my birthday a memorable one.

Came down this pass weekend for a roast dinner as they have started roasts again. We were all amazed at the massive portion size. Maxine served us who gave the most amazing service the whole time. She was so polite and gave many recommendation. Will be returning next week.

Great atmosphere djs were amazing with nice lighting and effects, outside is a great garden with TVs in the huts perfect for watching sports, toilets are clean and well kept. Drinks served quickly and with a smile from staff and food was great and didn’t take too long and came out hot, lots of parking space available and variety in the menus definitely becoming more often whilst the weather stays nice
