Gem of a place. Go in for a cosy night, good food, few drinks and support a hard working local business.

Great food with a brilliant and attentive owner who makes sure you are well looked after. All the curries we ordered were delicious, the naans are fluffy and tasty and the rice is perfectly cooked. Would wholly recommend to anyone for a dine in or a takeaway.

Eastern Curry is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant around. The staff go way above and beyond, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is to die for. We can’t get enough of it lately.

We had our first ever curry from here as our local has closed down , food was amazing will definitely be ordering from here again 😋

I have just come from this restaurant again and I have to report that it is definitely the best Indian eatery than any other around without a doubt. I have never ever been disappointed and the service is second to none. Tandoori Chicken Balti Madras.... try it, tasty just doesn't give it justice, in fact anything you order from the menu is perfect. Well done.

Recently discovered this hidden gem after moving to the area a few months ago. Mo the manager and his colleagues make you feel so welcome and the food is great quality.Best I’ve had. Will be back soon!!

One of the nicest curry's I have had. Flavours of the chicken tikka biryani were great, and the tikka masala was perfect. Accompanied with a naan and wonderful online bahji.

We have been coming to the excellent Eastern Curry for many years, always enjoy the friendly greet from Mo, Tony and their staff. I met up with some family and friends for a lovely evening. The food, drinks, and service is fantastic. The atmosphere is always enjoyable and the disco music helps keep the vibe lively and relaxed. Would always recommend the Eastern to family and friends, we have celebrated many many birthdays throughout the years at this brilliant little restaurant.

The service and food here was excellent, probably one of the best curries we’ve had in a long time. The staff are also very friendly and service spot on.

Seen from outside it seems an inconspicuous restaurant but once inside you are treated so beautifully and the the food truly is second to none. Can't recommend enough it's perfection.

Had a wonderful meal here this evening at the Eastern Curry restaurant . As we try find authentic Indian taste’s and blast from the past, was it. It was my turn to pick the restaurant for My fiends and I. We had tandoori lamb chops to start, well spiced and good cuts of meat. The main dishes was plentiful and gave us a great sense of the quality of the food and diversity of their offerings. The service was friendly and prompt and the restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Relative to Eastern Curry restaurant prices, the cost was reasonable. Highly recommended!

My family and I enjoyed this very authentic Indian restaurant that reminded me of my mothers food in Calcutta before I came to this country to study. The experience was further enhanced by our excellent host Moe who made the visit very pleasant, I can’t wait to come to Welling again to visit this gem of a restaurant.

First time trying this restaurant as I was working in Welling. The menu is populated with a good selection of authentic dishes. The food was very tasty and I’d highly recommend it to anyone around this neck of the woods. Tandoori lamb chops were unreal. I will definitely be returning. Moe the owner is very attentive & definitely looks after his customers. From the offset it’s clear to see so much love goes into this restaurant, the food and everything that Eastern Curry is about. I’m certainly glad I chose to come here, it completely blew my expectations out of the water.

Visited this Wonderful Restaurant for the 1st time After reading the very Good Reviews and was not Disappointed. My Husband and I were both Impressed with the Very Smart, Friendly Welcome and Excellent Service from All of the Staff including Mo who has been mentioned in previous reviews..plus the Immaculately, Clean ,Comfortable, Traditional and Modern Decor that really makes this Restaurant a Pleasure to be in. First Impressions really do count and the Eastern has definately nailed this !!! From the Poppodoms and Starters right through to the Dessert The Food was Absolutely Delicious ..both the Chicken and Lamb Dishes were Lovely ,Tender and melt in the mouth and the Sauces were so Tasty and well made with Great Consistency ..So Our Compliments were also made to the Chef. We were looking for a New go to Indian Restaurant and luckily for us we have now found it ... will be back very soon with our Sons. Can't Wait 👍😁

So glad me and my family, after living in Welling for a very long time, finally went to Eastern Curry. We each had a starter and main; it was all absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. A lovely atmosphere inside the restaurant as well. A real hidden gem in the area.

First meal out after lockdown, what a great decision. Tony, Moe and team were back with a freshly redecorated restaurant with new lighting and many nice finishing touches. The service, as always was outstanding. The food was excellent as usual. I can't recommend this place enough.

My Daughter and son in law booked a table at the Eastern Curry for my birthday on the first night out of lockdown with the wife and what a treat. The food was even better than I remembered, service second to none and really friendly. The food was that good that I asked if I could thank the chef, I was led to the kitchen and I went in and thanked him.... I'm back soon for sure Moe and I cant wait....Thank you.

We have watched a tasted this little gem improve in everyway. It's always been very friendly and they fall over each other to deliver a 1st class service. Food tonight was even better than last weeks....tarka dhal second to none but all food is so tasty. Cant wait for my next meal....next week. Bob.....Danson.

I visited tonight for the first time after a recommendation from a friend. I was blown away by the friendliness of all staff, the delicious food..the best curry we have ever had!, the offer of a on the house after dinner drink and the most reasonable price. great value for money and I would definitely recommend and will be going again soon.

Great food. Great value. I'm a vegan and have found Indian menus limiting often sticking to the same thing. Here all of their vegetarian dishes are already vegan and they were even able to make me onion bahjis. I've not been able to have them for years. Would definately recommend this place to vegans and non vegans alike. I went with a group of 6 and we all agreed it was an excellent meal.I'll be going back there again soon.

Ended the week with a magnificent feast thanks to Eastern Curry. Lamb Dansak, Chicken Naga Vindaloo, Vegetable Rice, Sag Aloo and more. Very very tasty and excellent friendly service. Best Indian restaurant/takeaway in the area by miles.

I visit regularly, you always feel that your the only one there!! I never need to ask for a drink, they just know what I want. The food is excellent and really tasty. It is value for money.

My fiancée is pregnant, so during these times of lockdown I have been very nervy about getting any sort of take away. Tonight we took a chance on eastern curry and I am so glad that we did. Every precaution possible was taken to ensure guidelines were met i.e contactless pick up, PPE work by all staff etc. And the food.... unreal. Honestly one of the best curries I’ve ever had. Superb service and I would highly recommend. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Had a lovely meal with my partner. The food was outstanding; rich in taste, authentic cooking and freshly prepared. The atmosphere was fitting as we enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine which paired excellent with our meal, we’ll be back very soon, thank you Mo and his team.

Great to meet Mo again. Mo ran an excellent restaurant in Mottingham & is now established at EC. The food was reminiscent of the latter Balti Lounge. Service fantastic, Mo as the reviews already mention a great host, welcoming & the food brilliant at 47.00 for 2. We will be coming back but it’s important to book is all I would say.

Giving one star is generous. Ordered Murghi Masala - not spicy, no minced lamb, vile chicken in a sauce like tinned tomatoes. Mixed grill vile too. Never again.

Don't let the shabby exterior put you off, nor the dated decor inside. The food is fabulous. Thoroughly recommended.

Usually just get takeaways from here but had a sit down for a change. Food was excellent, not just your usual curry. Have been using eastern since it opened and will continue to do so

Went on a Saturday on the recommendation from friends at the Door Hinge micropub. The food was marvellous, reasonably priced and staff really welcoming. Had been searching for a regular place for a ruby since our usual one closed. Methinks this will be our favourite from now on.

The meal 🍴 was absolutely gorgeous. Have been customer for many many years and the standard has been sustained througout, if anything improving. The service is faultless and ambience perfect.

We began together... they opened we ate... however after a few years mid week we had some sub standard meals ... so we obviously ate else where as we are BIG curry lovers ....NOW tonight we decided to go back to our roots and WOW was it good..10/10... all dishes.. chicken tikka was super juicy & tender... lamb madras x green chilli was tasty & hot and light in texture ( not thick & gluey) chicken tikka masala was delicious ( my son informed me) side dishes were delicious & full portions..I must say “WE”have missed out & will definitely be back ordering from our nearest & dearest Indian restaurant from now on x

Nine months ago my husband found this place whilst searching for a reputable Curry house who also deliver. We live within a five minute walk to Shampan at Falconwood but he decided to look for somewhere different. What a FIND he phoned the Eastern Curry and was advised to try a Chicken Tikka Adrak (exclusive to them) absolutely delicious, from that day we have ordered from this Curry house on a regular basis - their Tandori King prawns are the best we have ever tasted which also goes for their curries having tried several from their menu and have never been disappointed, the restaurant is small and cosy and is nice and very friendly with Mo and Abdul

I went for dinner with friends and the staff were ok but the place lacked atmosphere as was a little quite. The food was very good with plenty of flavour and taste and I recommend the place for a decent meal at a good price

Superb restaurant. Was looking for a nice Indian in Welling and we found it. Went last week and again tonight with my wife and both times have been superb. Brilliant food, well priced, and the service is great. You can tell most of the people are regulars as they have a great relationship with the staff. Will definitely be back.

My families favourite Indian cuisine. The food is always fresh and flavoursome the portions are good and the staff are lovely. Value for money.

We have been to eastern curry before and we have always been made to feel welcome like we are part of the family. We came tonight to celebrate our daughters 9th birthday and was so shocked on arrival as they had got loads of birthday balloons for her and really went out of their way to help her celebrate it. The food is always lovely, there is nothing that is too much trouble, Mo and his staff really go out of their way to remember who you are, to make you feel so welcome that you really do want to make this place your regular. I will only be visiting this Indian restaurant from now on and I would highly reccommend it to anyone and everyone. Thank you Mo and your staff for always making it a lovely visit.

Pedimos desde este al menos una vez a la semana y han hecho ya que estaba a unos 5! (18 años ahora! Es el mejor mo) alrededor y la comida es inmejorable! ! Me dan los síntomas de abstinencia si ha sido de más de 2 semanas, jajaja! !
