I first reviewed this cafe in the first year it was opened. I still rate the raspberry friand available here and to be honest only pop in for that as I walk through the park now rather than stopping for a coffee. The last two times I have ordered a coffee it's unfortunately been way too hot and left a slight burnt taste. The cafe is small with a large outdoor space which families with small kids seem to enjoy. The cafe itself really needs a bit of spruce, more and more things seem to take over the indoor seating space, almost like a storage spot it just feels like it needs a refresh.

Booked an early table straight from work as we usually do. Haven’t been in for a couple of weeks and the flavour of the food was like a memory foam and had me questioning as to why we’d left it so long since our last visit. The prices are very reasonable and WOW do they make you feel welcome!!!

We attended the restaurant for a birthday celebration with 15 of us. Unfortunately this was not a positive experience. Steaks were served barely warm. Instead of sautéed greens these were in fact microwaved. The fish served was great so that’s a positive. Obviously the alcohol was great Service was great ok and our concerns were dealt with properly. Furniture is tired. It’s a shame as they did get the fish right and not the steak. Being a steak house that charge £41 for a ribeye you would expect a little more care being taken with the product reaching the table in a good time and HOT. Muswell Hill branch is much more organised something borehamwood branch should aim for.

This was my second time here & it did not disappoint. The decor is lush, green & inviting. The waiting staff very friendly & the food choice is right up my street. Of you like truffle, you must order the truffle chips! My only dislike is that the coffee comes in a cup & not a mug but can easily be forgiven as the food is so nice. I’ve been with family & separately with friends and both times we all had a wonderful time. Price was average for the area too. Will definitely return!
