The best restaurants in London

Hemos venido aquí un par de veces ahora y siempre absolutamente disfrutamos de la comida. Proporcionan una fantástica gama de platos, algunos familiares, otros nuevos. Sus precios son razonables, y sus porciones generosas. También tienen Kingfisher en borrador, y el servicio es excelente - amable pero no más - atento. Genial para grupos y parejas, sé que volveremos.

Me encantaba este restaurante, estaba muy ocupado y ruidoso y divertido. El servicio podría ser caótico, pero siempre amable y en última instancia bueno. Cuando visité la semana pasada era bastante tranquilo y permaneció así. La comida estaba bien, se siente como si ya no fuera tan bueno. Quizás eso se deba a que se han abierto otros lugares mejores, pero quizás también sea la calidad de la comida. El servicio era esquemático. Pedimos postres y nunca llegaron después de 45 minutos, así que nos rendimos. No pudimos atraer a un servidor para averiguar dónde estaban. Parece que hacen un negocio decente para llevar, así que su atención estaba en eso. Creo que sobre todo se siente como si fuera una comida para llevar que tiene mesas en estos días. Pedí la factura y después de 30 minutos nadie había venido a tomar el pago. No teníamos bebidas ni comida y estábamos ansiosos por escapar ya que habíamos estado atrapados en este pequeño lugar durante casi 3 horas esperando más de una hora para postres que nunca llegaron y pagar. Me levanté y pedí pagar y me dijeron que era solo en efectivo. Dije con bastante preocupación que solo tenía mi teléfono encima, no sabía que no aceptaban efectivo. Me dijeron sin rodeos que había un cartel en la puerta y que debería haberlo leído. No me di cuenta, ni tampoco los dos amigos que había conocido. Me dijeron que podía transferir por banco si realmente no podía obtener efectivo, así que hice una transferencia bancaria. Me dijeron que no podía irme hasta que demostrara que había pagado. Dije que no quería mostrarles mi cuenta bancaria y un pequeño comenzó a hacer ruido detrás de mí, golpeando su otra mano, claramente de una manera amenazante. Les mostré solo la transacción que había hecho y se me permitió salir. Dije que el servicio era terrible y que deberían haberme dicho que era en efectivo solo cuando me senté. Me dijeron que debería saber leer. Dije que había pedido postres que nunca llegaron y me dijeron que el camarero había dejado el trabajo y que debería haberlos perseguido. Dije que había tenido que esperar más de 30 minutos para pagar y me dijeron “has estado aquí 3 horas no puede haber sido tan malo”. Dije que me había querido ir hace casi 90 minutos pero que había estado esperando postres que nunca llegaron y que pagaran, la camarera se enojó bastante y me gritaba que me fuera. Así que lo hice, felizmente. Con toda honestidad, la camarera parecía desequilibrada e incapaz de entender por qué había sido una mala experiencia. Me fui y dije que todo lo que tenían que hacer era disculparse por el mal servicio y ella comenzó a gritar de nuevo. Prometí no volver. Horrible y bastante aterrador.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent from start to finish. What truly stood out to me was their remarkable attention to detail and how much they care about the entire guest experience. Every aspect of my stay felt carefully thought out, and it’s clear that the staff is dedicated to making each guest feel valued and comfortable. From the cleanliness of the room to the quality of the amenities, and the friendliness of the team — everything exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciated how smooth and enjoyable the entire journey was, and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future. Highly recommended!

Brought my partner here for a birthday dinner and was blown away by the food, the atmosphere and the service. The various different courses from the Kobe beef, this delicious scallop in foam dish, to the various different nigiri made delicately in front of you (red snapper, toro, salmon, etc)..... everything was so so delicious. After reading some reviews, I was worried going in that we'd leave still being hungry, but we were perfectly full. But no lie, I was craving more bc each bite melted in your mouth. On top of that, chef Wasio was so kind to offer us some matcha cake and different varieties of sake to sip from. Thank you for that 🙏. As if that wasn't enough, the amazing trip-hop music/playlist that was playing in the background during our service was the perfect cherry on top (eg. portishead, massive attack). It made our experience absolutely unforgettable. Such a cool, cozy vibe. Thank youuuuu

Love their coffee, their brekfast is fairly priced and very yummy.

I've been to the Kolam many times over the years, and I've yet to have a bad meal. It's a more traditional type of Indian restaurant and family-run, and the service is always very friendly and helpful.

I’m suspicious of all of these five star reviews that were made two weeks ago and a month ago. The service in here is super slow. It’s very difficult to get served once you have been seated, even if you just want coffee. It then takes a long time to receive what you have ordered. The part I really disliked about this place is that it is absolutely filthy. I have no idea how the manager is walking around looking at the walls and the pictures on the walls as they are covered in food. See pictures.

I like coming here to sit in… it’s a good spot. Actually a great spot. Tonight I made the mistake of using it as a shop rather than a bar. Expensive mistake. This is not the place to buy a takeaway!

Still closed after 10 months.Sign says closed for renovation but no sign of life at all there.

A real value for money. Very pleasant service. Clean, aesthetic and all the dishes were well prepared.

Tuvimos un excelente almuerzo, la comida era sublime. Vimos a los chefs preparando nuestros platos y charlamos con ellos también. Eran muy conocedores. La señora que nos atendió fue muy eficiente e incluso Tom vino y dijo hola, recomendaría Muse y sin duda volveré.

Ordered for the first time for collection. Great service. Would give 5 stars but the stuffed crust was not it. The cheese they use for the stuffed crust gives a weird after taste. Other than that the pizza was great!

I’ve known this cafe since I was a kid me and my dad went a lot it was always my favourite the chicken escalope sandwich is just🤤and all there other foods are delicious there not too expensive and they like too have a conversation not all about the money there’s nothing much more I can say if your passing threw definitely pull in for a bite you won’t be disappointed
