This is the perfect place for breakfast! Intimate and authentic. There are several variations of English breakfast and all interesting but also different items on the menu, so everyone will find something for themselves. The owners are very nice and the coffee is simply delicious. I highly recommend it!
My wife and I found this place walking up Putney High Street, serves 2 hours of bottomless food and beers, wines, soft drinks, tea or coffee for £25!
The food is varied and of good quality and they serve a wide selection of salads and sides, I can easily recommend the famous lasagne, meltingly soft beef casserole and the chicken curry but there was much more to try.
Don’t walk past this place thinking it’s a lunch venue, small but great, with good service, music and a downstairs space for up to 24.
We visited Octagreen on a Sunday to get some lunch. My wife has some intolerances and these people were amazing to help find foods she could eat. Janine was so friendly and warm. Great selection of food and really delicious. Really recommend a visit.
The food is amazing. So is the customer service. I received a complimentary drink. The food is filled with flavour and tailored to your level of spiciness.
I would highly recommend ☺️

Was overcharged for my order, and the coffee was essentially brown water, somehow simultaneously bitter and flavourless. You're better off with a cheap filter coffee from a greasy spoon- probably made with more care and better coffee. Left a literal and figurative nasty taste in my mouth.

Fabuloso pastel y aún mejor servicio. El equipo se aseguró de que teníamos un pastel que representaba a nuestro equipo y celebración bien. ¡Se veía increíble y nos dejó boquiabiertos a todos! ¡Gracias!
Attended a Jazz/rat pack event organised by Stella. This was our first time since it had changed owners. We were greeted by Adam as we arrived. Ordered our drinks and he said he would bring them over. We chose a medium signature platter. More than enough for 2 . A selection of meats and cheeses. We were impressed it came with a demi baguette . It was all delicious. Hubby had the Wimbledon beer . Which he raved about and I had several cocktails. Instead of opting from tne good selection of wines. The atmosphere was great and food delicious. The staff attentive. We will definitely be back.

I picked up some frozen meals from the restaurant this week. I must say i was absolutely astounded as to how good the dishes were. I think freezing curries actually enhances the flavour and all dishes were incredible with the lamb chops being the standout if i had to pick one.

Such a gorgeous local coffee shop. The drinks are delicious and they have vegan options in the food ( e.g. overnight oats, smoothies, sandwiches, sweet treats). Good playlist and wonderful staff. Has such a lovely vibe.

Love this place, it’s a regular lunchtime spot for me. Great mix of vegetarian and meat/fish options, all healthy and tasty. Service is lovely - nice friendly family vibes.

I've used the small street food outlet located in Kingston upon Thames twice in a week. First impression is a homely atmosphere but I didn't eat inside so can't comment. The food really does look like homemade dishes. I trialled the place by using the: Too Good to go app (NB this is a genuine review, i.e. I'm not getting paid by anyone or any business! The app allows you to choose an outlet that has extra food that they might throw, instead you can order via the app for a 'surprise'* bag for a reduced cost. *You will not know what you'll get. NB if you have any allergies, check first before ordering as you might receive something you've paid for but can't eat :/)
We paid £6 for a:
small, tall pot of red lentil soup,
a larger pot of liver and potato dish and
a very delicious similar size pot of a potato, chicken and cheese dish (a bit like shepherd's pie but with chicken pieces instead of mince beef/lamb).
It's interesting that they make organ meat, i.e. liver which is a good high protein meat for most people.
But what about vegans and vegetarians?
They make a tasty aubergine and tomato dish (and their default, red lentil soup) but note, there is a lot of oil in the dish which I would suggest to drain out before eating. When home, we made some fresh basmati rice and added the ordered dishes. It was a good-sized, hearty meal.
TIP make/buy some basmati rice (its got to be basmati!) /quinoa/naan/ pitta bread/ gluten free breads/ couscous etc to eat with these dishes to make a meal of it. Two adults will be able to have a good size meal if you do this; with a little bit left for the next day's breakfast ;)
NB I do not know if they do other non-meat dishes so, best to check their website.
