Had a great dinner with my wife and kids. The food was great and the service excellent. Our waiter, Esai, was amazing too both from greetings to grappa!

The food was delicious, the staff member Mario was really friendly, and it was a great experience!!

Perfect place! Food was great(especially the fried pizza was super nice) and Marco was so kind to us. My friend and I shared two dishes cuz we have small stomaches. He gave us plates to share and then he changed our plates and cutlery again for new dish! He also made us Basil oil sauce on spot, cutting leaves from pot in front of us. I've never seen this before. Will come back again!

Never had such delicious “spaghetti al vongole” outside Italy. Fruiti di mare were very tasty and lemon dessert too Definitely recommended Make a reservation during the weekend.

We came here last night and I’m quite shocked at how this place has such good reviews. I’m quite disappointed. The main waiter barely cracked a smile which meant for quite a cold atmosphere. I then explained in my reservation and in person that we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, to which the response was “ok but you need to leave after an hour and a half”! I was shocked. No effort. No cake. No special dessert. Nothing! I couldn’t believe it. We were made to feel like we were burdens on the place , rather than paying customers. Speaking of paying, it wasn’t cheap! And considering the middle of the calzone was cold, the £34 bruschetta was nothing special, overly salted and had hardly any of the cream cheese it promised, I’m utterly disappointed. Redeeming factor was that the lobster linguine was very nice but I won’t be rushing back any time soon just for that.

Warmly welcomed into the restaurant, we were seated promptly. We were served fresh bread along with the house olive oil - so good! Our pasta was amazing - al dente to taste. One of my fav Italian restaurants in London!! Service was also amazing

Typical Neapolitan cuisine in London. Excellent appetizers and first courses (pasta and potatoes and pappardelle with meat sauce). Congratulations to Danilo who, with his friendliness and kindness, makes you feel at home! He also offered us coffee.

Food: I am always a bit diffident about pasta dishes in London, they are somehow a bit too al dente or chewy too salty or bland. Additionally being from Napoli is a huge gamble for me to go to a “Neapolitan” place… But Osteria Napoletana… this place hits the spot. I took the Ziti alla Genovese, which even in Italy outside Napoli rarely a restaurant cooks them right but here we are with hands down the best Genovese dish I had. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the creaminess of the onions and the meat was melting in the mouth. We were 3 and took 3 different dishes, we were all amazed. The delizia al limone was also very good, it was Sal de Riso, a huge and famous bakery shop of the costiera famous for this dessert. Service/Atmosphere: We felt we have been looked after but in a not invasive way which is always the best to enjoy the evening. The difference has been made by Mario, his manners, professionalism and dedication were absolutely outstanding. He makes the difference between a good place and a place you want to go again and again. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you!

And it is true that wherever you go in the world you will find a Neapolitan. The chef of this tavern is, and he has created a Nerano that everyone in Marina del Cantone dreams of. Mario, a big man with a tender heart, welcomed us as if we were in his home. You can't tell from the photos how good the dishes are, which is why, when you're in Notting Hill, drop by.

a real Italian place in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of the city. genuine food, authentic dishes and flavors. spaghetti with clams were terrific , frittatina and pasta provola and potatoes as per Neapolitan tradition - hard to find such execution abroad . great welcome from Mario, who made us and our kids feel at home!

Highly recommended experience! I went for lunch after walking around the Portbello Road market (very convenient location to reach from the market). Even before I sat down at the table I understood that I would have a great time and I felt like I was at home. The staff were very kind and friendly, especially Mr. Mario. One of the best local Italian restaurants to escape from the monotony of London "cuisine". The dishes were as if we were really in Italy: excellent quality, also in terms of generous and not minimal portions, and goodness that surprises you for the place where it is located. You can just go and try it to understand what it's really like.

Attended here for dinner as a party of 3 after seeing the good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent pasta dishes. Lovely fresh flavours with clearly freshly made pasta and ingredients. Lovely house white wine. We had the tiramisu for 2 which was absolutely delicious. Lovely touch of bread with fresh basil and olive oil (complimentary) to start and complimentary lemon cello shot and biscotti after our bill. Would recommend for anyone staying in the area. Dishes we tried and could recommend were the tomato and meat ragu and the potato provola pasta. Only comment we could make to the kitchen is the dishes were not very warm. We were sat outside and our food cooled very quickly due to the food (I’m guessing) being put in cold bowls.
