Booked a Sunday lunch for 2. Good service and the food was excellent. The only observation was that I could have done with a little more meat but that didnāt spoil the meal at all. Loads of vegetables and cooked perfectly, not too hard and not too soft. All washed down with a splendid pint. Itās not the cheapest but itās not the most expensive and Iād say you get good value for the cost. Very much recommend a visit.

Last year I was doing hospitality and catering level 2 and I was waitering in this restaurant so I know what itās like. Then I thought why donāt I just see whatās itās like as a customer? Came today and OMG! I love it. Food was brilliant! I ordered a scotch egg (it was really filling but it was lovely), sweet and sour pork with fried rice (this meal combined brilliantly!), and profiteroles (the choux pastry was good and cream and chocolate was amazing). The service was good but as I learnt last year how to do posh waitering you have to serve from the left and clear from the right and you have to do de-crumbing e.t.c. They didnāt do de crumbing or the serve and clear as they forgot. I understand that. But even though I absolutely loved it (it did feel awkward as I was a waiter before here but you can get used to it! š) Definitely will come again! Thank you princes room restaurant. And well done to the waiter! šš

Went in quite late for dinner & Byron immediately came to our table to take our drinks orders. We were quite hungry and our starters of scotch egg & marmite butter roast potatoes came out quickly & definitely hit the spot! We both had the pie for our mainsā¦.Chefās kiss š¤ Byron was very hospitable & checked back that all was ok. I live very near by & pop in for a drink or Sunday lunch (which is the best in Southend I might add) but have never eaten here mid week & I was very happy with the last minute choice! Well done chef & well done Byron.

no ive not tried these guys just yet but will be in a few weeks as my very top chippy has retired from brewers chips saloon who i loved his various sauces, especially the blue cheese one. so after googling for best chippie on great yarmouth and all the fab reviews, these guys near the mushy peas will be my first choice but im not sure i fancy any there sauces, shame as i loved dipping chips in blue cheese and prior to that was ranch sauce but it kept going off in the hot weather. be fab if they could do a few different sauces

If you want a shot to sip of Turkish coffee or some bona fide baklava, this is the place to go. There's plenty of seating inside, divided up into rooms so you can actually have a private conversation, too. The Western stuff on offer is only OK, but don't go there for that--get the Mediterranean goodies!

Highly disagree with the bad reviews as this place is now called "starvin marvins" And the person giving a 1 star review because the tables are at the side , is forgetting this is a small family run business it's quite small ,in fact it's more like a stall most don't bother with ANY seating , I think the fact they put somthing there was considerate for families ,there the cheapest and nicest food , it's the FIRST place I go when I go to Hemsby, legendary milkshakes ,always friendly staff , a must to visit and oppisite is there sweet shop which my husband loves there American section š š š š š

Surf and Turf. If u want fish, u get an excellent selection. If you want meat, it's just as excellent. It ticked all our groups boxes, and the drink menu is very extensive. From start to finish these guys do it right, in our opinion. 1st class food, knocked out the park by friendly, cheeky and great staff. You cannot but have a good time here. The service staff are honest, and for once, down to earth......and bloody funny! For us, it was a breath of fresh air, and we are now hooked. These guys are worth a visit.

I went to Cafe Riverside's Greek evening which is on every Saturday evening. Small cosy restaurant with the feel of a traditional Greek family run taverna. Proper Greek /Cypriot food and wine - all very good as the manager is Greek Cypriot so knows the real dishes. Menu not too big but not too small. A good alternative to the standard but rather bland corporates.

Always liked this cafe but today an accident happened where hot tea was dropped over my mum over her hand and legs and tshirt. And she had to do shopping after this but her hand was stinging and she's to polite to say anything. So she was like don't worry but when we went to pay only an apology was given no discount on food or don't worry its on the house to say sorry. Nothing. Will not be going there again.
