Enjoyed a Lovely vegan lunch for 4 at Reckford Roost. Delicious Beetroot soup with crusty bread & falafel salads with humus & roasted cauliflower, so tasty. Will definitely come back as there are always great vegan options.

We always look forward to visiting Reckford Roost Farm Shop & Café during our visits to the Suffolk Coast. On this visit we ordered a cooked breakfast, which was made to order with high quality ingredients and a great deal of care. It was extremely good value for money, and the tea was also very nice indeed, and a pot for two gave us four or five large cups of tea. The homemade cakes & biscuits we bought while we were there were really delicious. And I was even able to find a jar of Miso for my cupboard at home. High Quality Produce throughout the well stocked Farm Shop. And delicious fresh offerings in the Café. Highly recommended. Can't wait to visit again.

I was staying in the next village over the lockdown period and unable to drive, Reckford Roost very generously delivered to my door. I am unsure as to whether they still deliver or it was just a one-time thing, however the farm shop is a jewel in the village of Middleton - between popular hotspots of Aldeburgh and Southwold. They supply a gorgeous range of the best seasonal and local fruits, vegetables, baked goods (the most delightful cakes!), deli-foods, meats, locally-caught fish and dairy (from their very own-dairy!) among lots of other yummy things. You can also stop for a coffee/tea and slice of home-made cake inside the shop or outside (in which case you may meet the little bantams that skitter around). It really is a beautiful shop full of beautiful food (and beautiful lovely staff!) and you’d be missing out if you don’t pop in - they won’t disappoint!

We ordered breakfast on a sunday morning, cooked after ordering so really very nice, scrambled egg was superb. Thought the place could do with a good clean up!

This fabulous little shop and cafe has been our go to place whilst staying in Middleton. A great selection of local produce, fantastic soft fruit and ice cream, home baked scones and cakes. I think we have visited every day so far.

We visited here twice while staying in the nearby village of Westleton. Very well stocked for a small shop. My friend is coeliac and was impressed with the amount of gluten free items, and the knowledge of the lady who cooks the food. We didn't use the café so can't comment on that.

What a delightful place to find. Looking for a café for a pot of tea and found this lovely tea room. A menu for something more substantial but I just wanted tea and cake, and what a lovely selection including scones and Florentines. Very friendly staff. They also sell farm produce - fruit and veg, eggs and tins and jars of interesting jams etc.

While in holiday visited the farm shop. Very decent produce in the shop and a nice little tea room to visit.

Nice tea but that's about it. Full Breakfast was small enough to be child sized, over done eggs, under done bacon, service all over the place and hardly not everything arrived in a timely manner. For what it was it was also overpriced compared to other local places which tend to be larger for cheaper. Not recommended, better ingredients in larger breakfasts can be found cheaper elsewhere.

After a recommendation from a local to try the breakfast here we were sadly disappointed and beg to wonder where they've eaten before now to recommend this place. Our order was taken within 5 minutes of arrival which was one of the two good things I could say about my experience. The other being that the latte coffee I ordered was delicious, it looked like they had a lovely coffee machine. My companions ordered tea and commented that the tea was also good. That's about where the good ended. The tea was delivered after 20 minutes after ordering and the coffee I ordered took closer to 30 minutes. Two out of the five breakfasts arrived about 5 minutes later but after the server placed 5 sets of cutlery only 4 of the breakfasts arrived. Another 10 minutes later and the final breakfast appeared. The breakfast was very greasy and for £6.95 I expected a lot more on my plate considering my own local experience in Beccles. The fried potatoes were spanking hot but the beans were lukewarm. The bacon was soggy and tasteless, the egg was was yolky but already popped and the bread had burnt bits in it. While we were waiting on the 5th breakfast to arrive the cafe filled with the smell of burning and smoke. The server seemed a bit ditsy and unsure of what she was doing. Overall the experience led a lot to be desired and I certainly won't be coming back again. A shame since I'm a supporter of local small business but not at the expense of my own enjoyment of the food served.

The fresh produce in the shop is very high quality and this is transferred into the café food. I had an omelette which was lovely and tasty and my husband had the full English which was a large plateful of well cooked food all freshly cooked. Very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. We will return.

After my fantastic review before was looking forward to returning. Different person doing the cooking today (last time I think there was gentleman chef and Polish lady serving). Service fine...but very disappointed with my bacon sandwich. Half the bacon and half the bread. Whilst I was asked if I wanted salad I said yes please. It came with small side salad and tortilla crisps (which weren't mentioned ) . Then got charged an extra £1 when paying. ..fine but for half the sandwich? My partners omelette was also overcooked. Definitely wouldn't recommend now due to obviously dependant on who is in the kitchen whether the meal is great! A shame after fabulous experience first two times!

Wow...took a chance as driving past and so glad we did. Partner had an omelette beautifully presented and cooked. I had bacon sandwich which was only on the menu as a sourdough bap but changed happily. Huge pot of real tea...great prices. Staff were friendly and professional. We will be back. Thank you .

Visited for lunch again, with friend who's gluten & lactose intolerant. Owner Jenny tweaked a dish to suit. My roast squash with Suffolk blue cheese and walnuts was gorgeous, the Moroccan flavoured quinoa salad a fantastic accompaniment, along with a parmesan crisp-topped leaf salad. All the stuff that I love, but haven't the time/store cupboard to make at home. Rounded off with a banoffee pie to die for. As dishes are made to order, there can be a little wait for them to arrive - but there's plenty of local produce to browse and villagers popping in for a natter! Went home with a bag of goodies , as usual ; * ))

We stopped for a drink whilst out on a walk from Eastbridge. We also wanted to buy some local produce from the shop. The homemade cakes were delicious as was an unusual pink ginger cordial. Whilst deciding on a drink we were told that if we didn't like the menu then we could have anything off the shelves too! The fruit all looked fab and we left with local raspberries and sausages!

Live locally so use it more for shopping and coffee but have eaten there and attended special evening meals they put on from time to time. Always excellent. Recently tried the sausage roll, something special in them as they are the best I have ever tasted.Evening meals always good and enjoyable atmosphere.Wonderful local resource well worth supporting and you will get a warm welcome and good food should you be passing that way.

Part of a local farm shop, which stocks much local, and I mean very local, food. Breakfast, lunch and occasional themed evening meals. It is a very friendly venue and the food is simple but delicious. The young staff give it a charming amateurish feel.

Signposted from the main A-road, what a lovely little independent cafe business. All the usual coffees/teas/hot choc and some very tasty home made cakes. Sandwiches, lunches and suppers. Also a little farm shop with local-type produce, fruit/veg, meats. Open on a Sunday and everything! Very popular with the locals it seems. Good luck to the owners, and good on you! Many thanks.

I was out cycling and to be honest I only stopped because I needed a toilet break. It appeared that I was the first customer that day. I was made very welcome even though I only ordered a coffee and piece of walnut and banana cake. I cannot fault the place or the refreshments. The farm shop section also looked inviting and is certainly somewhere I will stop for produce when I am in a car rather than on my cycle. It was the first anniversary the weekend after my visit and I hope the place becomes a great success.

Popped in again today for lunch with a friend. She's on a gluten & dairy restricted diet, but always finds something to suit - and enjoy. Jenny will create or adapt her offerings to suit. Small and cosy, with locals popping in for a coffee (extensive range of various trendy types, along with regular brews) & a cake (so many scrumptious ones to choose from), or to buy some local fresh produce, including vegetables, locally milled & baked bread, condiments, or frozen locally reared & produced meats. Another friend, enjoying one of their (in)famous bacon & egg on sourbread rolls, was flummoxed with our instructions for making pancakes (it being pancake day) - so a batch of batter was produced with a "just bring the jug back". Now that's what I call 'going the extra mile'!!

Sorry to say it was the worst breakfast I've had in the cafe. But if I pay £15.10 for coffee and full English I expect the highest standards. Bacan was so bad I couldn't even eat it. The picture says it all. Who would serve a customer food that looks like that. Lovely staff but all they did was apologised for the drop in standards.

Lovely warm welcome from Hannah and Lisa ( hope that is right ! ) Delicious home made sausage roll, cheese scone and chocolate brownie to go with our coffee and tea. Very reasonably priced.
