Cafe on the Corner in Suffolk Coastal

It is always a pleasure to go and eat in here. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, they have got a good selection, plus they have specials.

Me and my wife had a lovely meal today. And would like to tell people how good it is. We will see you all again on the next holiday in the summer

I have used this cafe with a long time and it certainly is a throwback to the great cafes that were around in a different era ,Decent food , nice staff and a miserable boss which sums up The Corner Cafe nicely . Heating always off no such gesture as a free tea which many cafes will offer once you spend a certain figure ,weatherspoons always offer free drinks after you paid for the first one . The footfall is important and therefor as a sole trader the customer should want to return without having to want to go elsewhere .

Me and my wife and 5 month old daughter walked in here for the first time and the staff said there was no seat but then they found us one what was really nice of them to do that we ordered the special two for £11 Panini‘s what was Fantastic. The service was fantastic, and Me and my wife would say it’s baby friendly and has baby changing facilities will be coming back here again. Thank you for very good service and good quality food

One downfall they keep reserving table,s . A lot of regular,s are sent away unseated. Half the cafe was empty . A lot of people complain on the way out. It,s a shame it,s such a nice cafe.

Best cooked breakfast I've ever had!

For the money, the food is outstanding. And the hot chocolate is always hot, and served in large mugs.

Cosy and welcoming! Love the food. We ordered the Suffolk Full English breakfast and it is value for money. Coffee and tea are lovely and dessert is yummy too! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Felixstowe, Suffolk

Really lovely cafe, the food is good. Quality ingredients used, which was great for an everyday cafe. Cooked breakfasts highly recommended... We came here everyday in the end. Julie is lovely as front of the house... Her huge waving through the window on our 3rd visit made me laugh. Good food, and welcoming... What more could you want?

Day trip - needed feeding. Myself, partner and 2 girls all ate and drank for under £35. Great prices, proper food, lovely staff.

Me my mum and sister like to try different places we not tried before and this has to be a really lovely surprise of just how wonderful this gem is. The service is excellent the atmosphere homely. The food was fresh we had the wrap deal and unfortunately no room for the delicious looking cakes I had my eye on on way in could not convince anyone to squeeze in any more we left very happy wasn’t sure if I should be so honest as I may not get a table next time 😂. Enjoy

Peter and Charlie Have been using this cafe for many years and would think that I could find a problem but every thing ie food, service and staff I must say is 1st class. They use top class food and not the economy stuff you get from a lot of these other cafes, it seems that they are there more for their customers and not their profits

Traditional cafe, Traditional people, Traditional English Breakfast! Easy five stars from me, no grease and cooked perfectly, not over the top, exactly what you want from a cafe on the corner! Highly recommend.

Excellent food , service and value for money .

An honest working class cafe. Decent enough food. Good value 2 for £15 deal. Excellent large pot of Yorkshire tea for £2.80 or thereabouts. Got 6 small cups out of the pot. Not the place for a got date, but a place to get a decent priced hot lunch.

After messing our order up 3 times and having to eat all three of our meals at separate times we didn’t even receive an apology. Such a shame because it was great food.

Table cloths need to be changed causes visual aura disturbance and resulted in a migraine light covers need to be cleaned as lighting isn't very good apart from that food was good and wholesome and friendly staff

No knifes and fork and no sauce and the butter had melted so had dry toast

The Corner Cafe is excellent in many ways ,good food nicely served for that I would recommend it anyone . I would also add that well behaved dogs are welcome and they are happy to provide a bowl of fresh water if required . The staff are well organised and generally are nice and friendly towards every one . However as someone who has used cafes for many many years there is one thing which is very upsetting and if there was another cafe of that standard I would think twice . I went in today 14th oct /4 tables with reserved signs sat on them and no one actually sitting there . The lady serving asked ‘where are you sitting “ at which point I was on the casp of leaving when the gentleman behind me said “your very welcome to sit with us “ very nice gesture indeed I just wonder where is the business sense in this Reserved attitude . Up to 16 places without people and surely on a weekend that does not make sense to run that reservation service and turn customers away . Sitting on the bench across the road is not an option surely . That is the one and only reason I give 4 stars . Hopefully the light bulb moment will happen and first come first served. Business depends on customers who vote with their feet .

Delicious and portions are very generous. We added double cheese to make it extra cheesy but realised when it arrived that the standard cheese portion was more generous than other places!!

We have switched our breakfast order from the large chain bakery to Cafe on the Corner as the quality and choice is so much better! First time trying a hot drink and the hot chocolate definitely did not disappoint.

Honestly a little Gem. I have visited many times over 5 years. Every time I go back to Felixstowe I visit this cafe, I bring all my friends here. Great pricing and great food, always leave happy 😁

Love this place we have been here lots of times especially for breakfast which is always cooked well and delicious!! Great efficient staff always popular and busy but somehow we still manage to get a table!! Great menu variety and very reasonable price!!

Haven't been here since before covid but still the same wonderful fry up sausages to die for at very very cheap price compared to what we have paid at other cafés. In fact very reasonably priced all round actually. Don't think they have increased their price since we were last there to be honest. They could quite easily add a £1 to each meal and it would still be reasonable. Definitely recommend.

The delivery time kept changing and changing!

This review is not about the food, the food is nice however what i saw today completely disregards that. The server brought out the food accidentally to the wrong table which happens!!! It was just questioned and the went to server sort it out. The boss then was made aware of what happened and right infront of the customers started verbally abusing the server "Why don't you listen!" After the poor server was yelled at they both went into the kitchen. The door closed behind them and all of a sudden us customers could hear the boss screaming her lungs out at the server again! It was muffled what the boss was saying but it was a extremely aggressive tone and was a proper lecture as it was about 30 seconds long! we could hear the yelling. All the customers were looking at eachother absolutely baffled how someone thinks they can talk to anyone like that! Everybody felt terrible for the server for simply being human and making a error what wasn't that big of a deal anyway! To the Boss of the corner cafe. The way you treat your employee is absolutely disgusting. I hope you understand that its verbal assult "You caused alarm, harassement/distress" really hope you apologise to your employee sincerely and this workplace abuse does not happen again. I used to come here regularly however I cannot support a place that encourages this behaviour. My family will be staying clear of this place unless action is taken. No bad comments about the server she was incredible for what she had to put up with. You are the only bad egg here, please change your ways

Food and service was very good. Food was not covered in grease so we could really enjoy it. Plenty of options for food for both adults and kids.

A lovely cafe with the best english brekkie I have had,called Suffolk Special Not sure about lunch and other dishes as I only go there for that breakfast. On the cons side - it's is a bit tight inside but it is what it is

Gone completely out my way to visit

Very disappointed with my order the only decent thing about it was my hot chocolate. Firstly asked for the driver to call when outside which they didn’t, secondly I ordered two fantas and only received one. Very poor quality food the bacon was mostly fat and sausages had bits of rind and cheese was cheap. Will not be ordering from here again.

Food containers were covered in melted butter. The butter pods had melted all over the inside of the bag with no butter left to put on the toast. Food in general cold except the sausages but they were over cooked. Sorry as I don't want to waste my time asking for a refund I binned the lot ( inedible)

Always lovely food and the cakes are delicious, always a different one to try. Update as I use 4 or 5 time a year, I thought I would update my review from a few years ago. The food and service are still as good, had a lovely cream tea for 2 today cheaper than some places charge for 2 coffees. Really tasty. Thanks.

Very nice cafe always pretty busy, food is very nice and hot ,service is pretty quick Staff are always friendly would recommend you give it a try.

Do not go here at 9 when they open. We made the effort to walk into town and eat in only to be told they were EXPECTING a large order from just eat. EXPECTING!. They hadn't even received it and we were in the cafe sitting waiting to order. We were told food would be at least 20 mins. What a joke.

Just a great old fashioned British cafe. Good food at sensible prices. Good range of breakfast options. Friendly staff I recommend it! I'm becoming a bit of a regular! I normally take a run down to this cafe on a motorbike, so parking is never an issue.

This is our go to place when we visit Felixstowe. The classic breakfast is the best. The food is always cooked fresh.very popular venue often find reserved tables.

Only problem was one item missed off the order. Food quality excellent, as always.
