Ordered spring rolls, pad Thai and green curry with Jasmine rice. The food was all delicious. I ordered gluten free versions as my wife can't have gluten. Even gluten free all dishes were better than those I've had at other Thai places. Food was ready on time and well cooked and all ingredients including the meat were high quality

The gardens are stunning and the tearoom where we had afternoon tea and a toastie was beautiful! Their project, where teenagers learn the art of hospitality and catering was heartwarming, but equally, I definitely had better service and beautiful presentation of food from these young people than a lot of other cafe/restaurants! Overall, a very enjoyable and beautiful day out. We got some great pictures! Thank you!

I recently ordered a pizza, and I was extremely disappointed with the quality. The pizza was so greasy that it soaked through the box, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. The excessive grease made the crust soggy, and the entire slice felt unpleasant to handle, let alone eat. It seemed like no effort was made to balance the flavors or ensure a proper texture. This was far from a satisfying experience, and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who values quality in their food. Very bad experience overall!

Stopped off for a quick coffee and a snack this morning, lovely views, quick friendly service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back for a meal soon!

I recently tried this pizza place recommended by a friend, and it was amazing! This place is undoubtedly serving the best pizzas in Hatfield. The pizzas tasted just like they were homemade—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Each slice was a perfect balance of a crispy crust, rich sauce, and high-quality toppings. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Never been into a so-called 'traditional' pub to be greeted as though it was a pain that we had even turned up. It was the first Saturday of the New Year and aside from the barmaid (possibly landlady but unlikely due to her huffing and puffing that she had to get up to serve us) there was only 3 other people there plus 2 dogs. I don't have an issue with dogs except when they cock their leg to wee inside the pub next to where we're sitting. Ordered hot chocolate which was luke warm and very watery, other half had a lager which was ok. Barmaid made zero attempt to make conversation with us and just made us feel extremely unwelcome. Would I recommend it - never. Head to the Eight Bells instead. Far more welcoming, much cleaner inside and a better variety of drinks.

What a lovely place to have a pint and chat with a few locals (all of them regulars at this place!) Was too late to taste the kitchen. The place claims to be really old and all looking behind to the glorious days of Old Hatfield, before it became the quiet town of today.
