The best restaurants in Walton Tendring East of England

This place is amazing. I rang and asked what fresh vegetables they had and the owner made up a special dish for me. They use very little or no MSG so the food is naturally tasty. Superb tasty fresh Chinese food. I cannot recommend highly enough and great value for money.

We have been several times to The Lara, staff are always pleased to see you and grateful for your custom. The food is very tasty, the portion sizes are generous so do not over indulge in the complimentary bread or a lot of starters. We have , and struggled to finish our main meal! (So speak from experience!) The reviews are well deserved, will visit again soon .... Sssssh don't tell everyone, we won't get a table otherwise!!

I had Lamb Kofta with rice and a lovely fresh salad, hubby had Mackerel and bass in lemon and caper sauce, both were most enjoyable. Another pleasant evening at the Naze Cafe. Also at breakfast they do the best bubble and squeak.

This is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely incredible and very authentic Thai. No real atmosphere but the food makes up for it

Was a lovely friendly pub, the food was delicious , the service very good and quick and the dogs were welcome too. 👍👍🦮🐕‍🦺

Coming from London we don't get many good old fashion fish 'n' chip shop, so when I moved here I had to try a few of the locals and tollgate has the best fish 'n' chips I've had in years. My new local favourite chippy.

Takeaway pie and mash is always consistently good. Service is usually friendly apart from today. Whoever served me wanted to be somewhere else.

Fantastic new year's eve. Food was absolutely outstanding, staff so pleasant, friendly and helpful, and the singer Jonathan Green was absolutely brilliant.

Really nice breakfast. Good quality ingredients and well cooked. Always worth an update. Came here for the first time in December and came back today. Food and service still excellent

Really enjoyed our visit - the tower is amazing with differing art and craft displays on every floor, which breaks the climb up the 111 spiral metal stairways . Amazing view from the top. Cafe has an outside shepherds hut servery, with hot menu items prepared in the tower and served outside or on first two floors cafe seating. Super friendly staff.
