Really enjoyed our visit - the tower is amazing with differing art and craft displays on every floor, which breaks the climb up the 111 spiral metal stairways . Amazing view from the top. Cafe has an outside shepherds hut servery, with hot menu items prepared in the tower and served outside or on first two floors cafe seating. Super friendly staff.

Friendly staff, good tea and coffee. Tables outside or on 2 small floors of tower. Tower very interesting to visit (beware narrow spiral staircase). Fabulous views from top! Highly recommend it.

Amazing 360 degree views from the top of the tower of the fields and harbour one side and the sea with wind turbines the other side. £3 to climb up the beautiful, ancient iron spiral staircase past the first two floors all the way to the 9th floor which is the top of the tower.

Not a place to visit in the rain. If you are disabled access is difficult because it is a tower with a steep staircase. But you could sit outside if the weather is reasonable. Friendly and helpful staff.

The tower is open to visitors and provides a small tea room and a gallery. There are a lot of narrow spiral steps inside the tower to the top. Its not suitable for anyone with reduced mobility or young children. However if you do the climb you are rewarded with magnificent views. There are some pleasant areas to sit outside on a nice day, beware of the cliff edge if you are running a dog off lead on the greens nearby.

Have been a couple of times. Always friendly service. The Naze always seems to be blowing a gale so it is good to get out of the wind. Hearty food/snacks and a good cuppa. Dog friendly too!

It was a wet and windy day and we both wanted a coffee and cake and this was the place. We wanted to see the views and learn a bit about The Naze. The young ladies were so friendly and we had delicious cakes. We sat at the first floor for our coffee and really enjoyed the atmosphere. There were lots of pictures and ceramics and local artists items on display. We were blown away and bought a few pieces. We checked out the whole tower and read about the history and looked at all the pictures etc. The view from the top was great. Very windy but so worth it. If not steady on your feet I'd say that the spiral staircase would be tough but slow and steady for most of us. Great service, great place and well worth a visit

Lovely views from the top of the tower & a very quaint coffee shop on the first two floors. It was very hot so we didn’t sit inside but had delicious ice cream outside in the shade of the tower.

We sat at one of the tables outside and had an excellent cup of coffee....the windbreaks are a great idea, they make for comfortable sitting on a breezy day and give you some privacy from your "neighbours". Service was great by a very pleasant and friendly gentleman. Unfortunately due to immobility could not venture up the spiral staircase. Highly recommend a stop here to anyone visiting the Naze.

This unique grade 2 listed building is a gem which houses an extensive art gallery, tea rooms, museum and fossil collection. The top platform provides outstanding views over the sea towards Felixstowe and Clacton, plus inland to Titchmarsh Marina.

I loved it here for lots of reasons. One it’s different, not a lot of space inside but full of local artists work and the cafe is over 2 floors, if the weather is good there’s room outside. The coffee was good, we had cake which was delicious but the menu was really good. You can make your way to the top which is definitely worth it, enjoy the different arts and crafts on each floor, all available to purchase and then once you reach the top fab 360 views of the surrounding countryside. Lovely historical place to visit.

Wow! Visited the Naze Tower for the first time. We were very surprised by the whole building. The view from the top was brilliant. The art collection was varied and very interesting. The building was well cared for and the Naze Tower Tea Room was a pleasure. The price is reasonable. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be returning .

After a windy walk we went in here for lunch. They have met competition from the new Wildlife trust visitors centre. But hopefully there is room for both. The tower has been renovated and is over 8 floor's. The top floors are given over to an art gallery £2.50 for entry. The Art and crafts have a countryside and sea side theme. The owner and his staff take your order downstairs and you can eat outside behind a windbreaker or on the first 2 floors. The staff kindly bring your food up the tight spiral staircase. The food is good and fresh local bread, good cakes and ice creams. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are lovely. They make you feel like friends. Some pretty gift's available to buy too.

Had a lovely trip to the Tower today. Greated by a nice coffee shop on the ground floor. You don't have to pay to just visit the tea shop or the first two floors. The climb up the stairs was easy over about 7 flights. View was worth the climb. Nice but of history and views across the water.

Amazing they managed to fit a café into the building but well worth a visit. All the food is freshly made so there can be slight delays but worth waiting for.

This is really a very tall eye-catching maritime building (formerly look out tower) climb it, if you have the energy! Not for the faint-hearted or fear of heights. Food good, tucker and proper cup of tea. Nice owners, who have time for you (to talk) when not busy. Must eating Al fresco, as inside area is tiny...Ideal for mum dad and kids, do walkers etc - lots of room, lots of walks from the cafe!

If you climb the Naze then this is the place to eat, not the obvious cafe by the car park. The food is fresh and made to order, with a good range of fillings for sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads. Lovely bacon rolls, excellent chocolate cake and fruit cake, and crisp fresh salad. Also does ice cream, tea and coffee, toasted sandwiches and the like. Staff very friendly and helpful, and lovely to sit outside and watch the sea and shipping, protected from the elements by a variety of windbreaks. In really awful weather there is inside seating upstairs.

A real shame as I could not climb the tower but as an ancient monument it is truly beautiful especially as it is not cared for by one of the big national organisations

Only ever had hot drinks here, but the tea and coffee is the best quality and value for money in Walton on the Naze, and if its windy you can sit behind the wind breaks outside looking at the wonderful views.

I visited this gem of a cafe on the quiet end of Clacton seafront for breakfast this morning and I will definitely be back. Located right overlooking a beautiful beach this family run cafe deserves every one of the five stars I have given it. Spotlessly clean, with welcoming courteous staff and great all day menu of breakfasts and traditional family cafe meals. What more can you ask for? Good value and quality products and yes you’ll get them too! Popular with locals and visitors to the area alike a lot to enjoy about the Greensward Cafe!! Oh and it has a great crazy golf to enjoy as well, perhaps when the weather is a bit better! An absolute credit to the proprietor and team - visit and enjoy a real seaside treat !!!
