I was staying in Ipswich for a spa break with friend. We had gone into the town for a shopping spree. As we did not know of anywhere to get a good Sunday roast looked on internet and found Stanley's in Frinton on sea. The welcome, food, atmosphere and staff was amazing

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch, it is so nice, all the different vegetables, which I love and if you have the roast pork the crackling is the best I’ve ever had. Last week I had the sirloin beef which was absolutely delicious. Well done different.

I was walking from the Naze to Clacton and had spotted G&T on the net so was aiming for breakfast there as it was on the way. I arrived at 11.40 and ordered a black coffee and a menu, when the staff brought my coffee I tried to order but was told they did not take food orders from 11.40-12. I was a bit disappointed but waited and then at 12 the staff took orders for lunch from everyone else including people who arrived after me. On arrival at my table I was told they couldn’t commit to a time when I’d receive my meal. I’m gobsmacked the management can’t cope with a change over from breakfast menu to lunch menu with out refusing service. I paid for my coffee and left very disappointed

We visited Pop Pins twice in August. What an adorable place to eat ice cream and talking of ice cream, you will be spoilt for choice ! There is a wide range of desserts and sandwiches etc all in a very pretty building. There are even sand and seashells along the front windowsill, how cute ! The cafe is small but there is seating outside and a lovely courtyard out the back that is so lovely. Pastel painted walls and pretty garden seats and cushions along with flowers. Such a lovely place to eat and meet with friends and family. The portions are big too. I wish i lived in Frinton so i could visit here every week. Ps theres a toilet too and the staff are very nice.

We visited this cafe in late November on a Monday morning, it was busy when we arrived, lovely atmosphere, You order at the counter, my husband had a sausage ciabatta, which was a traditional Moroccan sausage and delicious, we both had drinks, the hot choc I had was one of the best I have had & my husband said the coffee was great too. Would definitely visit this cafe again. A really lovely independent establishment

I thought I would have a change from my usual Indian but wish I hadn't! This had more stars so was expecting a better quality. The food was hardly warm. The garlic naan didn't smell or taste of garlic but was clearly a plain( cheaper) one . The samosa pastry was hard. Didn't enjoy it at all.😞

Great place to relax and enjoy a drink. Whole place was spotlessly clean with imaginative decor. Staff were friendly and the place has a cool vibe , will be going back soon.
