Nice, quick, lunch. £5 lunches on offer Monday to Thursday. Limited menu choice, but imcludes weaps. Good, qick, service. Ordering ahead possible.

Our son lives nearby and had already tried and enjoyed it here so took us back and I gather has been again since with his girlfriend. We sat outside as it was hot. The staff were really welcoming, helpful and friendly. It is dog friendly so a big plus for us. I had salmon teriyaki and it was delicious. My husband and son also really enjoyed their meals. Good sized portions and extremely well priced. All cooked freshly too. My son likened it to Wagamama's and we all agreed that it was superior and half the price! We will definitely go back when visiting St Albans.

A beautiful setting by the water on a sunny evening, 1st was the house red wine which was delicious followed by an amazing 3 courses, The organic beef short rib which was a delightful & one of the best starters I have ever tasted ( please make this a main course) I then went for the rump of lamb which was cooked to perfection & then finished with a knickerbocker glory! What a treat!!! Our waiter Daniel was excellent & very attentive & knowledgeable about the dishes he also kept our wine topped up, we will certainly return so we can sample more of this superb menu, thanks for making our Saturday evening a memorable one.

Great food, great ambience. Pathetic service. The guy who served us was really rude. We were a group of 6 and 2 babies. I have always been welcomed everywhere in the UK with my baby with this exception. Surprisingly I just read a lot of similar expirences. Not sure why you haven't changed your staff.

Nice place to come for a quick bite to eat or a coffee. The prices were reasonable too.

What an outstanding experience this was !! 5 star dining at its best. The atmosphere and service were second to none, however the food was the star of the show ! Even the sourdough bread with burnt butter was a joy! I had “Onglet” in a Chimichurri sauce , it was tender and tasty and perfectly described by our waiter Ryan. Sticky toffee pudding had to be the best I’ve tasted and I’ve eaten a lot ! Wine choice by the glass was amazing , white, rosè or Red all too classic wines. How lucky this restaurant is our local ! Memorable evening, highly recommend

My partner and I came for a wine tasting, Shahn remembered me from my last visit and a brief moment buying a bottle of wine. Whatever he is paid is not enough he is personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Not only is he great at his job, but a great ambassador to the must brand that is 2nd to none, whatever he is paid is not enough, and any other members of staff would benefit from his tutelage. 5 stars, 3 of which are from Shahn alone.

Had my 65th birthday lunch here . There were 9 of us and I was delighted to find that we were seated in a private dining room upstairs . It was absolutely perfect . The food was very good , well cooked and good value . Everyone had a wonderful time and the staff were very friendly and effective . The restaurant is definitely a step up from say a gastro pub /bistro . But without being in the fussy fine dining end of eating out . I you have a small lunch/dinner party then having one of the private rooms makes for a delightful experience that I can heartily recommend

Lovely old fashioned business run by the same lady for years. The decor is a little faded but the food is superb, I recommend the weeping tiger steak, which is hard to get in many Thai places
