Al Farid in St Albans

Incredible. Food was faultless, cocktail great and service warm and friendly. I could not recommend this place any more highly.

I had a mezza style meal , started with Fattoush and then Meatballs, Teen ( Cheese & Fig pastries and Mirza ( Aubergine dip) all excellent. Husband had the falafel to start ( best he had ever eaten) and then lamb tagine. We shared Sour Cherry cake for pud - again excellent and we drank Chateau Roslane - We were only visiting St Albans but I really hope we get a chance to go back

A great find. Fantastic food and service. We had a few tapas to start which were very fresh and delicious. The main courses were plentiful and also very tast.

We struck lucky on Friday getting the only table free when walking past on the off chance. Every one of the 6 tapas dishes was lovely especially the fattoush and the potatoes. Beers were delicious and in frosted glasses too. Painless bill and great service, relaxed but present. Thanks all, we'll be back v soon.

We enjoyed a celebratory, birthday dinner here. The food was spectacular- very authentic and flavourful. The team also have exceptional service- surprising us with a birthday dessert and attentively checking during the meal to make sure everything was in order. The restaurant itself is super clean with lovely decor, so a highly recommended restaurant within the area
