I recently ordered from The Village Spice, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The flavors were bold and authentic, with each dish perfectly spiced to suit my preference. The chicken tikka masala was rich, while the biryani had the perfect balance of fragrant spices and tender meat. The naan was warm and fluffy, just the way I like it, and the samosas were crispy on the outside and packed with flavourful fillings. The delivery was prompt, and everything arrived hot and well-packaged. The portion sizes were generous, and I even had leftovers for the next day!

This restaurant serves the adjacent Premier Inn. We have used both several times in the past so were looking forward to a good meal after a long drive an exhausting week moving an elderly parent. However, on arrival, we were told by the hotel receptionist, she hold been told not to book any hotel guests into the restaurant as they were not serving any more customers as the kitchen had run out of capacity. She told us the new woman in charge kept telling her this and many people were arriving and having to have the prepaid meal refunded. She suggested I go over to the restaurant and ask if they could squeeze us in. There is nowhere else nearby so I asked if there was anyway they could fit us in at any point during the evening. One of the waitresses expressed surprise that the woman in charge refused us, but the woman in charge was unapologetic and seemed pleased she couldn't help us. Her tone of voice was sarcastic and just rude. When we tried to get just a drink, a bit later, we were told they stop serving at 9 pm. The young man refusing to serve us said that 5 staff members had recently resigned because of the new woman in charge, but it wasn't his problem because he didn't want to be there either! The receptionist from the hotel tried to get us some service but the woman in charge, the young barman and another waitress all just started arguing with her. Their attitude was that they couldn't care less about customer service. They had no interest in the needs of the customer. The woman in charge was so rude, it was definitely the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
