The best restaurants in Orton Longueville Peterborough East of England

We normally get great customer service from the lady that normally works here but as of lately we have had the displeasure of having to deal with a young man who has a nasty attitude with shocking rude behaviour and a demeanor as if he hates being there. The lady we normally deal with is incredibly pleasant but the (son? I'm assuming) is incredibly rude and untrustworthy. He even lied when questioned if the price had gone up, just to discover on our own that it had not. He then gives you one price and then when challenged, gets nasty and smart at the mouth then HANGS UP THE PHONE and when you call back he doesn't apologise, then "claims" he miscalculated but then insists on receiving cash over card quite aggressively. What he wasn't banking on is my husband pulling out his calculator in front of him and going over the menu in the restaurant to discover he was trying to tack on an extra 3 quid! To lose regular customers over 3 quid is wild! Because of our recent encounters with him, we will have to bid farewell to this Chinese takeaway and spend our hard earned money elsewhere. We no longer trust this location because of our experience with him.

Chips...cold and floppy, like undercooked. Garlic bread....cold and hard and could not taste the garlic, was like eating cardboard. Chicken tasted overcooked. Lamb was nice but some of it was full of gristle. Not the best pizza we've tasted.

Ate here over 20 years ago. While the menu is less extensive than it used to be the options were well thought through and the restaurant remains a great fine dining experience. My wife has various food allergies and the waiting staff and chef liaised together to work out and through various options to ensure that she could still receive a meal that was enjoyable but nevertheless met her needs. Lovely relaxing environment too.

Not ordering from here ever again! Ordered a cheese burger and just threw it all up and got tummy ache

Gran comida, un restaurante muy básico y de estilo antiguo. Sin embargo, cualquier cosa en el menú que dice casero! Encárgalo... Tuve Game Pie... fue increíble. El personal tan profesional y la comida era asequible y de buena calidad. . . Chef jefe bien hecho, Andrew.

Visité aquí durante su estancia en el CAMC , estaba bastante ocupado por un día de semana, pedido en el mostrador y se quedó esperando mi café durante unos 5 minutos a pesar de que no había que, los bollos eran grandes y se podía elegir su mermelada. El personal estaba bien, pero no demasiado amable, Café era agradable y caliente y los bollos eran agradables, pero habría sido mucho mejor calentado.
