The best restaurants in Town Close Norwich East of England

After seeing the reviews for this place we thought we eould give it a go. So glad we did. Amazing coffee and pastries with friendly service. This is the coffee shop for us in Norwich when we return.

My friend and I came here this morning, the first time for me. It was a lovely place to come with our babies, and the coffee and brownies were particularly lovely! Staff were friendly. Parking was a bit of a mission as it was busy when I arrived, but I did manage to park at the back of the church. Will definitely visit again!

Sam’s is a godsend. An old school cafe just like they used to be. Sam and the staff are welcoming, as is the decor. The food is simple fare but with healthy and interesting options. I like the fact that food is prepared in view. This is a real local establishment. Highly recommended.

Lovely cafe with friendly staff and delicious food and coffee. Seating inside and outside. Breakfast, brunch and lunch with a healthy emphasis and a bit of effort put in to make the dish special. You can also get sausage/bacon rolls and similar if you like. The cakes looked amazing but I was too full up to try one. Really good vegan and gluten-free options.

Excellent fish and chips with no frills time after time! Lovely owners and great customer service. Rarely go anywhere else for fish and chips in Norwich 😊 Highly recommend

A good old fashioned pub on the edge of the city, seasoned regulars and a great landlady. What more could you ask for? Service with a smile and a community drinking in their local, fantastic!

Used to love this place and go daily, however their decaf blender broke about 6 months ago and they failed to fix or replace it for months on end. Pretty disappointing. Prices also seem to have crept up to a very steep rate

Booked for the Christmas set menu (£23 per person three courses and coffee) and what an top notch experience, food delicious, service excellent, atmosphere spot on 🎄🎅🏻 Would highly recommend for a great value special occasion or even simply a meal out with a difference then please book as it supports the students who are on their courses and really worth a visit :) Parking wise- blue badge spaces in front of main college building or use the park and ride or walk in from the city 👍

The fish was totally unacceptable. Very small portion compared to St John’s Close fish and chips. A picture fir comparison to follow

I picked up a salad today while having a little walk on my break at work, and the salad was incredible! Worth every penny! I had had cake from here before via delivery and hadn’t realised how close the cafe was to my work! The cakes have been delicious too! 10/10 will be visiting again.

Food was good, took a while to take our order but we once the order was taken service was spot on. Atmosphere was ok, the lights were dull but very white if that makes sense and with plain white walls, didn’t create much of an atmosphere
