Namaste Village Norwich in Norwich

Food is seasoned well and has flavour. But if you are not vegetarian, you are better off going to an Indian restaurant that sells meat (Dhaba at Fifteen is out of this world delicious). This place , however, would be a great spot for vegetarians! I just personally didn’t like it.

You have got to come to the Namaste Village for breakfast. They have just started this service and your taste buds will love you for it. Such an amazing venue and kind service. Thank you.

Tried the Indian breakfast with the family, one word from everyone “Amazing”. Norwich needed something like this, pure vegetarian, superb flavours, really good portion size, excellent customer service are not words to be used lightly, but this breakfast had them all in abundance. All members who ate said it was simply fantastic. I would highly encourage people to try their breakfast offering, so much choice and it really brings an indian twist to the most important meal of the day. Very well done Team Namaste, we will be back to taste the items we could not fit in today and the Hinglish is calling my name ;-) Jai Hind Team Namaste

We had an amazing evening with friends. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I loved that they catered for my dietary needs, which is so rare to find. We will be back.

Have been wanting a dosage for a long time and this really did deliver! A fabulous meal with great drinks too. Can't wait to come again.

Fabulous large family dinner at Namaste Village and exceptional customer service

We had a large gathering plus an assistance dog. Everyone had a great time, and they were very considerate of allowing additional space for the dog.

What an excellent restaurant. The high ratings are most definitely justified. Food was awesome and service was sublime. The atmosphere was really well balanced. Vibrant but each table was located in their own space, separated from other tables so as not to be intrusive. The attention to detail with food allergies was superb. I have visited with a group of work colleagues and also with family and friends and we always have a wonderful time. We will be sure to return.....

The food was really nice (except we weren’t keen on one side dish) but the service was really disappointing. We were asked repeatedly if we wanted extra food/ drinks and top-ups, even after we had said we didn’t and that we would let the staff know if we needed anything more. In addition, when asked if we wanted a ‘pickle tray’ with our papadums, we said no - and it was added twice to our bill. When we spoke to the waitress about this, she kept insisting that we had said yes because when she asked if we like it, we said yes (we thought that the dish came with the papadums and wasnt sure what it was). The service charge was 12.5%.

I went with our 2 year old for brunch and I wish I could give it a higher rating. Really excellent food as always but this is the first time I came with a child and we felt very welcomed and relaxed. Great atmosphere, lovely decor too and baby changing facilities. 🌈🌈🌈🌈 Thanks so much

A lot of great options to try. All vegetarian. Have been a number of times and have always had a consistent service with tasty food. The decor is very nice and the staff are always polite and helpful. Parking can be a challenge but there is a pay&display opposite the restaurant.

Having the chance to have vegetarian options that are also Onion and Garlic free is just amazing. The food cannot be faulted and the staff were lovely. Give it a go it's worth it.

Just took our mum for their lovely afternoon tea! 😋Nice variety, delicious tea options (go for the Marsala chai!) and friendly staff as always. Highly recommend - I hope they keep the afternoon tea as a regular event!

Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere, best masala dosa around, perfect sambah, authentic food and decor coming from a South Indian family - if you are after authentic Indian cuisine and vegetarian food this is the place to go. Staff go above and beyond with a brilliant attitude! My favourite restaurant as an Anglo Indian vegetarian girl!

Fabulous meal here for my birthday. Beautiful interior. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, who understood the menu and could offer suggestions. There were three of us, one is vegan, one has a food intolerance, and I have a severe sesame allergy. The staff were very mindful of this and I felt very safe eating here. The customer service was excellent. The staff were attentive, very polite, and cheerful. The food was incredible. You could taste the spices and the ingredients, not the usual vegetarian affair where everything just tastes of tomatoes and onion. Two of us had the paneer, my sister had the chicken substitute. The Onion bhaji was cooked to perfection and not at all greasy. It was beautifully presented. The naan breads were amazing. We were too stuffed for dessert so just had chai. The spice blend in these was lovely, with a real kick of heat. I can also highly recommend the cocktails and mocktails. My mojito mocktail was the best I've ever had. All in all a fabulous experience, and I will definitely be returning very soon.

Good tasty food but a bit greasy and not very generous with the amount of paneer. Service was speedy, but we were asked a dozen times about how we liked the food, which was excessive and almost intrusive. We left with the impression that they were more concerned about getting a good review than anything else as we were given QR codes to scan to leave reviews.

Are the flavours truly representitive of Indian cuisine? perhaps that's why I had some sour flavours and fiery hot not tasty hot flavours that didn't taste like Indian food that I've had before, given my disapointment I felt the mandatory service charge unwarrented.

A fantastic evening of unlimited dosa! Amazing food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. Loved it!

We ate at Namaste village again yesterday and had their Sunday Lunch Buffet. Food was of outstanding quality yet again! Service and Staff were fantastic and the atmosphere is super chilled and makes a real change from day to day life. The 3 Curries on offer were incredible and so flavoursome, and the value for money is second to none! We didn't miss the meat at all (despite both of us normally being meat eaters) and we both commented it actually made a nice change to not feel too full and heavy after eating such a big meal. Namaste, we will certainly be back again!

Was a bit embarrassed for the restaurant to have courage to serve lukewarm obviously preprepared dosa..so not crispy but a bit chewy to people of Indian origin. Yes it had a flower head on it, presentation looked nice but ultimately cold, chewy ... not good.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food

Dined in with husband and mother in law on a Saturday lunchtime. Decor was beautiful! Fabulous Indian restaurant with delicious traditional Indian dishes (Paneer masala dosa and samosa chaat were impressive!) our waiter Dishang made the experience extra special with his warmth and friendliness 😊thank you Dishang for being fabulous! We will be back soon!

Wow what can I say! I have dined in here before and decided tonight to treat myself to a takeaway- and I am blown away by how amazing this restaurant is! It’s really difficult as a vegeterian to find food that tastes good but this place blows me away. 10/10 recommend

When we arrived staff couldn’t find our booking for 13 made a week prior and questioned where we had booked through. I showed them the text they had sent me 10 mins prior to the booking and the email confirmation etc and they said they could accommodate us. Took over 40 mins for a drinks order to be taken but staff were so friendly and helpful. Food came quite quickly and was mostly lovely - the curries themselves were very flavourful. Some of our party felt the sauces were too thin and there weren’t enough veggies/paneer in the dish though. Then very slow service after food again - not offered a second drink at all, and then had to wait over 30 mins for the bill which proved to be one of the more expensive curries we’ve been for. Probably wouldn’t go again, which is a shame as it’s definitely the most beautiful curry house we’ve visited!

Clean and tidy restaurant, very friendly staff. The food was tasty with good sized portions but the menu is a bit limited. This is a specialist vegetarian/vegan restaurant which also caters for gluten intolerance as well, however the staff explained that the GF food is cooked in same fryer as the non GF food. This is OK if you are GF for fashionable reasons but not for anyone who is GF for medical reasons. Children are welcome but there isn't a children's menu. Most of the youngsters there were eating French fries and ketchup I noticed. I was disappointed that there wasn't more variety of vegetables available. I guess most people want artificial chicken there days. The biggest surprise was the price, it was eye wateringly expensive, over £200 with the service charge for 4 adults and 1 young child, we had mains a couple of sides, not many drinks and a couple of deserts.

This time I felt disappointed as we went to have dinner for a special occasion from Colchester specially as our last experience was very good. But this time the food was ok infact the daal felt a little sour and the service guy explained us that their chefs are working here from 20 years and they said it’s not bad. I mean why do we spoil our meal telling them that we didn’t like it. Well, it’s still not bad for Indian flavour food. Also to add we have paid 12.5% service charge for such service experience.

Finally I find somewhere in east of England that is good. I came here with work friends and food is fantastic. Dosa exactly as it should be, crispy and light outside with delicious inside. Very many good vegan options. I hope I can come here again.
