Came for an authentic curry to find out it was an alcohol free establishment. Following the initial disappointment we ordered food and was blown away with the presentation, taste and lack of oil in the 2 lamb dishes, and starters. I kid you not it is probably the best curry I have had. The lamb fell away in your mouth. No gristle and fat. Amazing. Alcohol free...would I come again....? DEFINITELY.

Firstly this is alcohol free (hadn't realised) Would I go again? Definitely. Probably the best curry I've had. No grease or oil to be seen. Tasty and the lamb fell apart in my mouth. Thoroughly recommend.

Consistently great food. Starters are delicious especially white bait, onion bhagee and lamb chops. Mains great too. Never disappoints. Cant wait for next meal here. People who run the restaurant are really accommodating. Thanks for a great experience.

Just ordered a lamb biryani and a chicken biriyani with veg curry with raita and have to say it was absolutely delicious highly recommend

We had the goan cod curry and lamb biryani,both excellent and very tasty. I’d recommend the peshwari naan too. Popadoms and various sauces were lovely. Services was friendly and attentive. With soft drinks and a coffee we spent £60 for two .

Wow, what a curry, im literally lost for words. One of the staff members came over to see how our meal was & I said this was the best curry I've ever tried and you could literally see on the guys face that he already knows this (I had a lamb rogan josh) Prices are slightly higher than a standard Indian but when you realise how good the food quality is & you get a lot of meat in the curry itself also. I have tried their Butter chicken previously which was very decent but a little too spicy for me (the chap said this was a traditional butter chicken & would be more spicier than most Indian restaurants). Would honestly give this a 10* rating if i could

Dhaba at Fifteen is perhaps the most interesting curry house I have ever visited. Having worked extensively in the sector in the past, I enjoy a good curry but am often unexcited by the standard Anglo-Indian fare, as good as it is. Dhaba have achieved something I am amazed by; often I seek out regional Indian cuisine, to get it as best as I can, but Dhaba amazingly covers the food of almost the entire country (should be a continent in cuisine terms) but still somehow everything is done incredibly well! The meat was truly exceptional. This combined with good value, incredibly rich and flavoursome fish and vegetarian options means this is one of the best I have ever visited. Dhaba - you have my heart.

Stunningly good food, great staff and atmosphere!

We had the best Indian food in Norwich. Service was excellent as always, the food was delicious, quick to the table even though the restaurant was full. The lamb chops for starters had the chef's kiss, portions were generous. Will be visiting again real soon.

Geuinely friendly staff who really looked after us - made sure we enjoyed our evening. Food was wonderful too. Only the second time I have eaten here (actually a take-away the first time) but it won't be the last! My partner had recently eaten at Dhaba with a friend, and raved about it - hence our return.

Unrivalled chutneys Tamil curry excellent as was the Dhaba chicken. Very nice plain naan. Service pleasant and welcoming.

Excellent really very different to a normal 'curry' house. Prepared to order so be prepared to wait a bit, however they are able to make menu amendments fairly easily. No alcohol served but plenty of soft or no alcohol alternatives Staff very friendly and efficient

The dishes we had were nice, but nothing really special. We also had 3 different types of nann breads between us, and all were a bit undercooked. The tables are too close together. We were left feeling a little bit underwhelmed.

100% the best Indian food out there, and service totally amazing. Deliveroo messed up our order and the guys from the restaurant redelivered it quick time, 5* service and just incredible, fresh, quality and delicious food! Thanks so much guys and happy new year!

Visiting Norwich is always special, looked at reviews for this restaurant and decided to visit. Certainly not disappointed, the food was generous portions. Bursting with flavour and natural food colours. Excellent service,plan on visiting Norwich again around March so will be be booking this super restaurant again

Perfect in every way. Considering I live near Leicester but have to live with the disappointment that I'm not nearer Norwich says a lot.

Not what it was when it opened - remember the soft shell crab? Now it's the same as every other Indian in the street - meat in a sauce - but not a good sauce.

I enjoyed eating here so much as someone with coeliac. There were lots of gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu and I was very well looked after. The food was gorgeous, the bhajis were lovely and crispy and the lamb shank was falling off the bone and wonderfully spiced. I'm looking forward to a repeat visit.

Thr best Indian restaurant in Norwich by far. We travel 30 miles each way to eat at Dhaba. Food is amazing and the service is excellent.

Not quite as good as I remember....kale chat was tough and over sweet but mains were good (I had Dahl, spinach and roti) and they do good selection of vegan. Also alcohol free beer!

I'm not an expert on Indian food... Maybe it's just personal taste. The staff is kind. The cute place. But I'm not used to such spicy and garlic-filled food.

Warmly welcomed, given ample time to make our choices and vegan options throughout clearly explained and identified. Dry restaurant but sells 0% beer and a food range of cocktails.

Negatives first. We were sat by the door and whilst I understand Deliveroo etc are probably a valuable source of revenue for restaurants, constant banging on the window next to us and waving by riders with the door opening and closing constantly was a bit irritating. We spoke with 4 front of house and 3 were great, unfortunately the one that served us was unhelpful and off. I don't like service charge being added automatically but it was pointed out at the till before paying and an offer made to remove it if required. Positives. The interior was well presented and contemporary and service times good. The menu wasn't huge like some but looked like they were concentrating on doing a smaller range very well rather than a big range adequately. This was borne out by the food which was very good and not full of salt like some, they just allowed the food to speak for itself. The Lentil Dahl had a skin on top which was possibly because it had been microwaved from frozen and left to stand but everything else was perfect and well presented. Mixed feelings really.

Nice restaurant in Magdalen Street. I had never been before. I only had a starter and a new variety of cola called Kharma, or something like that. Unfortunately, the warm weather meant I wasn't feeling quite myself, and the waiter understood this fully.

That Butter Chicken was flat out the best in Norwich, ruined all other Butter Chickens for me. Can't wait to have a curry in house. Absolutely mega food!

My wife and I love India and love Indian food; we eat and cook a lot of it! Having travelled extensively in India and eaten at innumerable South Asian restaurants in the UK, we feel very well qualified to pick out a good one... and this establishment is outstanding! Fantastic friendly and helpful staff, clean modern facilities, and a superbly varied and original menu. And I've not even started on the food! This is not a typical generic Indian restaurant, as 95% tend to be, it is something very different! The food comes from a really different and sophisticated angle. Numerous dishes which we'd never seen or tasted before, making the choice a pleasing challenge! Superb presentation.... and the flavours!!! Individually prepared dishes and absolutely brimming with fresh, original tastes and aromas. We were bowled over by this restaurant and will certainly be back; if visiting Norwich do not miss it!!!

This is the best Indian food I have ever had bar none. The staff are wonderfully helpful and polite. Try the onion bhaja and the Peshwari naan, both amazing, whilst the Sri Lankan prawn curry is my current favourite. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Had a walk-in meal tonight on my way into the city, baigun kathraki achar with boiled rice. Superb quality with fresh and interesting flavours. Great value for such good quality and really friendly staff too. Thanks guys! 👍

It's the best curry house in Norwich. The food is excellent with loads of interesting dishes you don't normally find on the menu. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and I'd recommend it to everyone.

Wow - absolutely fantastic food and really lovely, friendly staff. I would highly recommend dhaba@15 to anyone! It was my birthday, and i honestly could not have chosen a better place to celebrate. We shared a few starters and poppadoms between five of us, and they were absolutely delicious. The main courses were full of flavour, I had one of the house special, which was INCREDIBLE and very unique, and I would highly recommend ordering this( sorry can't remember the name). Overall, we had a really lovely experience here! Thank team dhaba for making my special day more more.

We had been meaning to try @15 for ages, finally decided we would go and eat in for my Bros bday. We had a selection of starters, then some mains and sides, alcohol free beer and some Kulfi after. The flavours were flying around, absolutely spectacular food. We all got dishes that hit our limit with spice and they were so moreish and flavorful. All the staff were helpful and friendly, made us feel welcome, the lads were lovely. Thanks for a great night, definitely ordering and popping in again. (They were very busy with deliveries too and it didn't hinder the service)

Recommended to us and the restaurant certainly didn’t disappoint. My Persian style beef curry was absolutely delicious, the beef was so succulent, as was the side of spinach with pickled spices?and pilau rice. My partner tried his first proper Chicken Biryani complete with the pastry covering to hold in all the moisture and juices which was served with a tasty vegetable curry. Friendly knowledgeable staff and a lovely atmosphere. Obviously popular, I think it will become one of our haunts and in an interesting old part of the city just across the Wensum river but very short walk to the centre.

First time using this eatary, & Oh my goodness, what a find. Every dish was an exceptional and individual explosion of taste. From the delicate spices to the richness of beautifully crafted sauces. I collected the food and took it home on this occasion, and I could not have been happier. Next time, I shall eat in and see if the table service is just as good as the flavoursome food. I'm not naming the dishes eaten because I would like to think that whatever any readers of this review choose will find their personal choices equally as satisfying. Eat well, my friends, be happy and sated.

Arrived for table booking at 7.30. Seated promptly. This is a no alcohol restaurant which I knew. Ordered drinks and poppadoms which arrived fairly promptly which is when mains were ordered. Main’s finally arrived at about 8.45! All mains lacked seasoning and I feel were over priced for vegetarian food in comparison to other dishes. There was also a 10% service charge automatically added.

Popped in for a meal before going on a night out - beautiful Sri Lanka prawn curry and chicken pasanda & pilau, not to mention nibbles and starters. An amazing meal, very reasonably priced with surprisingly generous portions without being over filling. A delicious start to our special family celebration. Hope to be back soon, thank you!

Visited this Norwich restaurant last night. After dealing with the shock that they don’t serve beer or any alcohol I ordered Baigan kathraki achar, this is a vegan dish with aubergine and pickles. It was delicious. Don’t hang around after, get down the pub for a pint ASAP.

The food here is fabulous and the staff are both friendly and courteous. I have been here many times with different people and everyone has always been impressed. It's easy to book a table, even if you need one for 10 or more! They are very helpful and come up with innovative solutions if you have any dietary concerns.

We actually had a delivery....but this is without doubt the single finest set of curries I've tasted in years. The food was utterly divine! Clearly, non of the usual predictable semi-edible slop, but super fine cooking clearly done by very talented chefs. I cannot wait to dine in the restaurant and I have to say if you're planning on Indian / Bangladeshi food in Norwich Dhaba at Fifteen is the only place you need to go....it is quite brilliant and you will love it!

Quite a small restaurant but clearly very popular....you will need to book. Service was friendly & attentive but not intrusive. The food is fabulous, definitely not your average curry house! I can thoroughly recommend the Mughlai Lamb Karahi, wonderfully rich and tender, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! You have to feel slightly sorry for the Spice Valley Indian restaurant next door, Dhaba was packed and there wasn't a soul in the Spice Valley (just forlorn looking waiters!)

As someone who is wheat intolerant I was particular impressed by the number of gluten free dishes on the menu - also there were plenty of choices for my friends, (one is vegetarian and the has a quite restricted dietary) so it was great for all of us. All our dishes were excellent and felt very authentic, the staff were friendly and the ambience relaxed and comfortable. I would highly recommend eating here.

Absolutely delicious. Lamb fry, tarka dhal, tikka masala, butter chicken, goan fish, the naan is sooo light and tasty. The service is superb. Oh.. and the starters! Bhaji, chicken wings (gorgeously spicy)... First time here last night for Mother's Day - we'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Superb food and great service. If you’re I. Norwich and fancy an Indian, this is a must. No alcohol licence but surrounded by pubs so no issues if you need a drink before/after.

We've gone here both in person and for takeaway. They offer some exciting vegan options - the aubergine & the dhal were particularly great. We also loved that when we asked for poppadoms and mentioned we're vegan, they brought us more vegan friendly chutney and delicious lime pickle. Everything we tried here was amazing - and they were very attentive to my request to please not add fresh coriander to the dishes and served it in the side instead. Delicious food, generous portions, nice people, highly recommend ✨

Very disappointed. I didn’t like the waiters approach to us. I ordered couple of things, he came back and said you have to order at least 2 sides. It is ridiculous, because we ordered what we can eat. And the portions are very small and expensive. Taste fair not so bad not so good. Probably I won’t be visiting again. I highly don’t recommend 👎👎👎

Took a chance on this place with my dad after walking past it a few times. Turns out it goes pretty hard. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and it all came out in good time. No complaints at all.

Amazing food. Nice people and great service. Don’t be put off that the restaurant is alcohol free. The benefit is that you don’t get the rowdy atmosphere you sometimes get elsewhere and you can focus on the superb food.

Excellent food (although more vegan options would be nice) let down by poor service. My partner wasn't feeling great so didn't eat a lot of her meal, we were asked if we'd like to take what was left away and rather than take the dishes to the kitchen to pack up we were bought the foil trays to the table to do ourselves. Also, as soon as we had finished eating, we were immediately presented with the bill without asking for it which left the impression of being rushed out of the door; really not what I'd expect from an award winning restaurant.

Well, this was a revelation! Apart from the surprise that they don't serve alcohol, which keeps the drunks away, everything else was first class. The service was polite but informal, the food was absolutely delicious, and a cut above the sort of stuff you normally get served in regular Indian restaurants. The vegetarian dishes, particularly the starters were excellent and every bit as good as the meat and fish dishes. I'm not going to describe in detail what we had but simply say to you that I have no reservation in recommending this place and telling you to pick anything you fancy off the menu, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed! Got a takeaway and was pleased by big portions and attentive seasoning. The paneer curry was a standout. Peshwari naan had ample filling but could have been a bit more doughy. Everything was nice but lacked a depth of flavour - very little spice and it was all coated in oil. Good but not a must-try.

Making our visit to Norwich for a sports event, we booked this based on strength of reviews. Superb. All parts of the service was excellent but the food is rightly what we will remember. I regularly eat in Bradford (Akbars and Royal Delhi), and for the first time am prepared to say this was better. The home made pickle selection was unique and the lamb main dish was excellent quality meat and perfect combination of flavours.

My husband and I highly recommend Dhaba at 15! This is our second visit and it must be mentioned that there's something on the menu to fit everyone's needs, the restaurant is very clean, the service has always been top tier, staff are warm, friendly, polite and inviting and the food....is exquisite! Can't wait to dine with Dhaba at Fifteen again!

Went as part of our regular old lads night out, really friendly staff and exceptional offerings served, can recommend the crispy kale with yoghurt and pomegranate for starters, though it is quite large. No alcohol served not a problem, we had Lassi, you can get a couple of beers at the kings head which is almost opposite a proper pub

It is the best. We have eaten in many restaurants but for this type of cuisine Dhaba is by far the best. The varied menus are so enticing to try something different. On this visit we had an amazing Ochra dish which was mouth watering. My only complaint is I have to drive 302miles to get there.

We enjoyed a great meal at Dhaga at Fifteen a year ago when we were last in Norwich. So on this visit we made sure that we had a reservation for a return visit. We were not disappointed: great food and very friendly and helpful staff. This is one of my all time favourite Indian restaurants.

My husband and I always order take away from Dhaba since moving to Norwich earlier in the year. Our friends came to visit us so we decided why not go dine in and it was the best decision ever. Such great customer service and the food was incredible as always! Lovely warm plated we’re placed down before our food came out and overall everything was exceptional. A clean Restuarant with great music and atmosphere. Fast & friendly service. Great prices for a table of 4 as well! 10/10 recommend.
