We had a very enjoyable 3 course lunch at the Debut Restaurant, greeted with a friendly smile, service was good, food was well presented, full of flavour and tasty, well done to all students from the kitchen to waiter service, keep up the good work.

The welcome we received was so warm and friendly. The 5 course meal was absolutely stunning with subtle flavours combining to give an overall deep taste experience. Wine choice very good too. Well done to all there

I love every visit to the Debut. It's great to meet students who are starting out on their professional career in hospitality. The food and service is excellent whilst the surroundings are relaxed.

Spacious, welcoming modern ambiance, festive menu eclectically well planned out. Service (teaching college) from student staff were sublime, so credit to their mentor. Wow, now the reason why Debut is top restaurant for the regulars who experienced its all round performance. Food worthy of Michelin 4 ☆ I feel. Artistic, tantalising, festival of fine food. Thank you, Mr Bartlett, you should be so proud as mentor to the whole team.

I have eaten here several times with my husband and my children. The service is always excellent and the food delicious. It is extremely good value for money. I always thoroughly enjoy eating at Debut.

Always very tasty and impressive food here. Students produce excellent dishes. A very nice experience. I've often paid twice as much for food that was half as good in commercial restaurants. Booking needs to be done a way ahead and the menu is limited, two choices per course but always good.

Brilliant restaurant run by catering students, quite a few of whom shine out as future catering ⭐️s.

Some friends and I had lunch at Debut today and everything was, as always, excellent. We were told that it was the 'first day' for the students looking after our table. Well, they couldn't have done better. Sure they were a little nervous but all credit to them, hope they all go far, they deserve to.

Had lunch at Debut on Thursday. (26 September.) It was an excellent standard. Lovely chicken terrine, the salmon main course was cooked perfectly and I will never eat a better bread and butter pudding (soaked in whisky ) in my life. All at an incredibly reasonable price. The staff front of house could not have been nicer. Well done to all the students.

Super place for exclusive dinner

I have been here on many occasions for lunch or dinner and it is great to see the enthusiasm and care demonstrated by the students. The meals and the menus are always excellent and if you get a chance, book a table and sample what they have to offer.

Fantastic food, as always! The students are so professional and passionate!
