The best restaurants in Waxham North Norfolk East of England

A lovely little cafe with an interesting interior depicting the Great Flood of 1953 amongst other things, which makes it even more worth visiting..

Tried the seven course taster. Atmosphere and staff were good. 100.00 for seven courses. 3 of the courses were tart style so not much variation. The tart for the fish course was more a canopy. The souffle was scrambled and three out of the four of us did not eat it. Nothing reduced from the bill or an alternative offered.. potentially really good but disappointment.

We had lunch then could keep the car in the car park whilst we walked to Horsey Gap to see the seals about 2 miles round trip very enjoyable

Very welcoming local boozer. Open their arms to all their guests and super attentive. Great Guiness and selection of Gins. Gets more points for being super dog friendly

Very nice meal here coffee. If I had one complaint it was that for some silly reason the card machine stops working if the phone rings. So when we ordered they said they could not take payment or open the till for a while. OK no problems " we will let you know " they said. Well waited and lots of new customers went in and as we were seated outside we went back in and sure enough they were taking orders and forgot to tell us. Fortunately we did not have to wait long and was very nice but needs sorting or get system in place to put who comes 1st gets served 1st

Excellent customer service from all staff. We booked the function room for my daughters 18th, the room was perfect with a great atmosphere. Bar staff where brilliant. Drinks where reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend

Lovely pub with excellent food. My wife ate the breaded mushrooms followed by the haddock and mozzarella fishcakes, while I had the whitebait followed by the haddock and chips, which was very fresh and cooked beautifully. A great place to eat before walking to the beach to see the seals!

Drove past having had a look at the seals at Horsey Gap but decided to turn round. The car park was busy, which is usually a good sign. So it proved. Two full English breakfasts, which were delicious and featured good quality ingredients. Bought some pastries for the 4 hour journey home, and they proved to be delicious too. An excellent café and a very lucky find.

Visited on a walk into stalham. The bar maid was lovely and friendly , good range of drinks and a very quaint feel to the pub. Good value for money and a good hearty food offering.

Great quality and great service. Lovely batter on the really good quality fish. We also had a pickled egg making this a great evening meal.

Fresh and delicious fish and chips. Staff are lovely
