Great warm baguettes. I would recommend them to anyone! Cueing out of the door for a reason! Brilliant for lunch on a cold or hot day as cold food offered too.

Much better experience than we had with the chain coffee shop a few doors up. Staff were friendly and engaged in conversations with all the customers that entered. Lots of flavours available for your drinks. Nice hot chocolate at a good temperature. Friendly and inviting shop can't wait for them to move in to bigger premises and offer more.

Micro pub with a rotating selection of real ales, ciders and a small selection of bottled lagers,including alcohol free. Some wines by the glass, no spirits. Small and friendly, no music or TV screens just good conversation. Dog friendly. Small area outside (seasonal, not Oct-March) with a few tables for when the weather allows. No food, but happy for you to bring in food from local takeaways - the North kebab house is about 10 metres away and does great kebabs & pizzas. Rare to find a pub happy for you to eat takeaway on the premises. Now under new management, but same approach with the rotating beers and friendly atmosphere

I popped in yesterday at lunch time for a glass of wine. The girl who served me was professional and absolutely delightful, tall with her hair in bunches, amazing customer relations. Well done.

Brilliant sausage and bacon bap with brown sauce and crispy bacon is very good. I love their sausages so much i really rate this place highly

Breakfast was delicious (veggie) the Julie and her team are always friendly and helpful, good value all round not rushed in any way. The bonus was a roaring fire in the log burner, will be back !

We just had Sunday lunch at the kings arms pub and it was fantastic good food and we will be back again next week. It pays to book as it gets very busy

We were a party of 4 ladies visiting for the first time. The food was ok but by 8:45pm the staff were very rude by lingering around and making it obvious they wanted us to leave so they could close early ruining our evening, the website it states they close at 10pm. We won’t be returning !!

We had our school reunion here today, excellent service, very accommodating to our requests all staff were helpful and cheerful. Thanks guys we will be back. Chris and Annie.

First time using this takeawayand my first impression was not the best. My special curry was just a vegetable curry and not a mixed meat curry which it should have been. My sons chips were warm and slightly overdone, and the other people in our party stated their food was dry. My son normally uses this takeaway and never had any issues, so I'm guessing this was just a bad night on their part.

A fantastic afternoon spent in The Black Swan. Good beer, good food and the staff were all welcoming and helpful. The decor is tasteful, inviting and comfortable 🍻

Saturday lunchtime, staff attentive, bacon and brie panini excellent, will return.

I enjoy their takeaways but all to often their phone is unanswered.
