Lovely staff, good fresh food at a reasonable price. Dog friendly. We choose to sit outside with our young dog but was offered a table inside if we preferred. Blankets available if it got cold.

I really like supporting the independents but I won’t be back here. Over £10 for two scones and coffees, not bad really but then consider this - the scones definitely appeared to be shop bought (ie small, uniform and not at all cheesy). Little wonder these aren’t on display - we wouldn’t have bought them if we’d seen them. Sausage rolls were on display but again, they look too uniform and factory made. The coffee was good but felt it was from a machine. There could have been a barista machine but it didn’t look like there was. Could be so much better. If things are home made then shout out about it but don’t charge higher prices if they are not

A lovely spot just away from the town centre which does excellent coffee, jacket potatoes, sandwiches etc. There's a cosy indoor room and a nice spacious roofed terrace outside. Always popular, they make a wicked cheese and Branston toasty, which comes with crisps and salad garnish. Dee-lish!

Friendly staff Lovely pot of tea! Scones are fluffy and light. Soup is delicious too. My favourite at moment is the tuna sandwich served with salad and crisps. All delicious.

We discovered Swallows last year when they were offering a takeaway service. We called in today for some much needed caffeine after an 8 mile stroll (!) from Bacton. The welcome could not have been warmer, the lattes were lovely and the pecan pie was yummy. Our boy Scamp was fussed over too. Thank you!

Had to stop off and support this lovely little independent business. Had a few sausage rolls, cheese straws and a nice flat white. The owner was so passionate of what she has achieved, 100% to her commitment. She also gave us some great advice on what to do during our stay in North Walsham. ❤

Visit Swallows for the first time as now in a new location. Plenty of Outdoor seating and limited indoor. The good for those that know North Walsham is they are open all day. The cakes and savory treats look amazing.

Well Swallows has moved the Brentnall House, Vicarage Street You get the same great service - fantastic food and drink- but know there is a lovely outside area, and inside a wood burner to keep you warm in the winter - well worth a visit

The coffee shop has a welcoming décor and is very comfortable. Although small in appearance there is plenty of room to sit without disturbing other customers. Coffee is top quality so budget yourself for a refill. The cheese scone was delicious and the cakes look very tempting. Well worth a visit.

Swallows is my local coffee shop and I always drop in when I'm in North Walsham. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, coffee, tea and cake very, very good and Julie is lovely! It's clean and well run and manages to fit in so much in a small, but cozy space. It's also very good for people watching as the windows look out onto the market place! Thank you.

My husband myself and three friends were staying at a hotel on North Walsham and before returning home we spent a few hours in the town (a really lovely place incidentally) We had hot drinks at this café - all drinks (tea and coffee) were excellent - the lady who runs it was so welcoming we all felt she deserved praise - the décor is really lovely taking swallows as a theme. The toilet was also excellent - clean and well designed. I have no hesitation in recommending this café - we all wished we lived nearer to North Walsham so it could be our regular place!

A great place to meet friends and have a tea, coffee or a light lunch. It is a small but well formed independent coffee shop. You will always be made to feel welcome in the friendly atmosphere. I definitely will continue to support this small business. My guide dog and I are made to feel welcome.

This was one of our favourite quirky finds when on holiday last year. Choose your own donuts...yes please! No arguments from the kids as they can choose their own. Lovely, entrepreneurial family run business. It was highly recommended to us by the Hotel we stayed at - i can see why! We will be back when we csn visit the area again.

Called in Today for a quick snack & drink as we have been here several times in the past. Unfortunately it was not quite the same as it was a couple of years ago. One member of staff was not as customer friendly as she could have been. Food was less than average. Sorry but we won't be returning

This is the second visit to the pub- after the annual Land Rover rally for the Norfolk firefighters charity. The first time we visited was just for drinks, this time we had a meal- a roast dinner in my case. We hadn’t booked and were very pleased with the service, the lady behind the bar took our orders promptly and was very helpful with the children’s menu. Food was served quickly and was delicious, proper “pub grub” The atmosphere was very pleasant too, it was a dark, wet November night and upon entering you’re greeted by an open fire, cozy bar and cozy restaurant. Will definitely be returning- more than once a year!

We’ve been coming here for years. The food is always good and a welcoming stop with the dog after a long walk. The only thing that really lets it down is the coffee and cake. I’d love to see some homemade local cakes on offer instead of the prepackaged tasteless ones they sell. You’ve got to have decent coffee and cake after a cold wet dog walk! Norfolk offers great coffee everywhere now and it seems the court yard cafe at Holkham is lagging behind.
