Very attentive staff and good quality food at a reasonable price. Has 3 electrical points for travelling mobile homes in car park at a reasonable night charge. 2 rooms for B and B available and nice extension to original pub giving a very nice embience. Well done to the new owners and my family will be dining there again. Had my Sister in Laws 70th birthday there today and had a wonderful time with help from the staff .... Once again..thank you. To start with the pub was very welcoming from the excellent decor to ultra friendly staff and owner! We were served with drinks very promptly, we then made our way to the table assigned to us. A short time later we were brought menus and a list of ‘specials’. After allowing us appropriate time to browse through we ordered the fish pie and the steak and ale pie. Quite frankly the food was ‘superb’ the steak and ale pie was clearly homemade and was filled full of the most tender steak pieces encrusted in puff pastry with a delicious gravy, mine was served with lovely crispy chips and my wife’s with mash, this was accompanied with peas and carrots……..delicious. Our friends had the fish pie which looked equally appealing with chunks of fish topped with a crispy topped potato which they both said was superb also. We finished the meal with a crème brûlée and a cream/ fruit meringue. All in all a 10/10 meal which we couldn’t fault in any way. The two staff members (one was the owner I think) and a younger member of staff were friendly, professional and ‘on point’. We came on Friday 8th November so well done to both of you. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone checking out this review.

There aren't many options in Fincham. It's a quiet village... or at least that's the way it seems. So, this is a village pub. Lovely staff, very friendly. Atmosphere is that of a local Village pub... though not the kind that all the locals put their pint down and fall silent as you, the stranger, walk in. Food is quintessentially English pub, along with Thai street options. Funny old mix. But what was served up (Phad Thai) was really good! Food fastish for a busy fathers day. Service came with a smile... So, in a round about way... if you are passing through, stop and grab a bite

We reviewed the farm and animals, but a special mention for the cafe. Clean, friendly, good value and spacious. Brilliant thanks.

We happened upon this place by chance and it looked beautiful from the outside… We popped in for a quick drink, were quickly told that we couldn’t stay in the bar as children aren’t permitted… immediately annoyed! So we were told abruptly to go into the “family room” Drinks we had were 2x half pints of orange juice and a pint of lager… £12.85! Fully unaware that I’d be requiring a mortgage for a drink! The interior itself is nice enough. The toilets, as is usually the case had been forgotten about and were very outdated. The staff could do with a shake up regarding their attitudes! Walking around as if they have a smell under their noses. We shall not be returning.
