During a busy bank holiday week, we had fast, friendly and efficient service, not only on our first visit, but also on our 2nd visit. ALL the staff were friendly and approachable, the food was hot and delivered to table quickly considering how busy the place was. Plenty of tables inside and there was a beer garden which we didn’t use. Highly recommend this enjoyable and relaxed pub, refreshing time after a long beach walk. As the pub is dog friendly my dog’s review consists of “thanks for the yummy sausage!”

Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was tasty but personally two drawbacks for us. We had booked and when we arrived for how busy they were, we could only have the table for a limited time. No previous warning of this. The menu was not quite to our tastes with less fish choices.

Have been wanting to visit for ages. We were seated and then it was almost half an hour before the waitress came to take our food and drinks order. Order placed, and 20 minutes for drinks to be delivered. Don’t get me wrong, the food was amazing, that is why I give 4 out of 5. The service was some of the oratory I have ever experienced.

We came for a big birthday and booked months in advance as we had to hit specific requirement including a nearby good walk, dog friendly, vegetarian and kids friendly. We arrived about 10 minutes before our allotted time, coastal traffic was kind! We were immediately seated however it took over 20 minutes to take our drink order and then another 15 to take our lunch order. We asked for our child's meal to come out with the starters. It didn't. It did come prior to the main course but it was after the starters had finished. There was so much humus but lacking in anything to eat this with. The kids meal was bigger than the adult meals. It was far too overwhelming and hardly got touched, even when it had cooled down. Our main courses were lovely and generally very filling. We had stated on our booking that we were celebrating a big birthday. Most restaurants try to make that person feel special and apart from on entry nothing special was done. I was hoping for her pudding to come on a plate stating happy birthday but nothing. Those who had desserts said they were nice. The dog bowls for dog water were also not refilled regularly and were empty on our arrival and exit. The worst bit of our experience was being told that we'd have to finish our drinks at the bar We spent in excess of £200 and the service in the 2.5 hours we were there was slow (at least 20 minutes between orders, over half an hour between starter and main) and they had another table waiting to be seated. We ate promptly but if you cant serve efficiently enough dont book another table on the back of a booking and absolutely dont let the customer know if its your fault. You should be apologising profusely to the next customer that your service was slow. Not rushing your current customer as soon as the dessert has been eaten. I won't be going back based on this experience.

This ancient pub restaurant is a favourite for simple food like fish and chips but also for highly creative dishes that are changed on a regular basis according to season and availability. Norfolk became a bit of a gastro destination a few years ago but this place has outlasted all of the celebrity chefs that have visited. Staff wonderful and wines excellent.

This is our second visit to Titchwell Manor and it didn’t disappoint. The staff really make this hotel stand out from others we have stayed in hence why we returned. It’s super dog friendly as well, making an effort to make him as comfortable as we are. The real draw is the location, just over the road from the beach and coastal walk all the way to Burnham Overy Staith if you want to go that far. We had a garden room both times which are dog friendly and very well maintained with nice walk in shower, comfortable double bed, TV, coffee machine and fridge. The paintwork could do with a bit of a touch up here and there but that would be nit picking. The bar/restaurant is also dog friendly which is great and the staff really made a fuss of the dog which was lovely. The evening meal is fine dining and changes every day, it uses good quality local ingredients and everything is made in house, even down to the butter which is a nice touch. It’s not cheap to eat there but you get what you pay for! Breakfast was also excellent, fresh coffee and a selection of cereals, granola and yogurt. You can choose between a full English, salmon and eggs or even locally smoked kippers which were amazing. We would certainly recommend staying here for a relaxing break and we will return!
