The best restaurants in Kimbolton and Staughton Huntingdonshire East of England

We looked online for opening times but arrived to find it temporarily closed

Disappointing sums it up. Ordered a falafel salad with hummus and couscous. Didn’t realise until almost finished that there was no couscous in it. Mentioned it when paying, but no deduction made. Falafel portion size was pretty small. Service, very, very, slow. Food expensive (and not as advertised). Coffee ok, no better. There were signs up saying they were short of staff, asking for patience. But if things are that bad, close off some of the tables and serve everyone what they ordered? In a more reasonable time?

Nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Rooms nice and comfortable. Service both in bar and restaurant slow .. Thought there might be more to see in Crawfordsburn but Bangor is near . Extremely expensive for food and drink especially when converting euro to sterling..

Great location , pub is a typical loverly country pub , owners are so lovely and helpful, well with a visit, food was good , could possible be more choice and fresh veg , but what we all had was good .

First time here as we have only moved up to cambridge recently . So adventuring out and found this super venue. Food is very homemade and delicious, staff are friendly and helpful. Looking to make this our favourite 'go to place ' 😃😃

We have just returned from a delicious lunch at the Saddle. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.We had fish and chips and steak and chips.The fish was delicious lovely crispy batter and the steak was very well cooked. The chips were also delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was not busy which is a shame as the pub offered real value for money in a friendly environment.We will certainly return. Thank you .

Fantastic traditional pub with beautiful atmosphere

This has been, and will always be, one of my favorite restaurants. I love coming here for special events! The ambiance is so comfortable and cozy. The Golden Margarita is a highlight for me and I always enjoy whatever entree I decide to order. The cookies are always so tasty too. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a new place to try out!

Beautiful characterful village gastro pub in the charming Kimbolton high street. Lovely, friendly staff and totally amazing food ❤️ highly recommend. Free parking in the High Street
