The White Horse at Tilbrook in Huntingdonshire

Booked a meal for 20 people back in June and from start to finish all the team were an absolute dream - everything was absolutely perfect, the staff were incredible and the food was 10/10. Couldnt have asked for a more perfect place

Although not badly priced, the roast dinner wasn't all that we expected. The cauliflower cheese was undercooked and the sauce is more like cheese water than a sauce. The gluten free option is about half the size with no option to switch for other sides etc but still charged at full price. The churros are marked gluten free on the menu but we were informed by staff that this is incorrect. Probably wouldn't visit for a roast again.

Great atmosphere, excellent Sunday lunch, dairy allergy not a problem and the service and food was excellent. Dog friendly as well. Another excellent lunch. As always great food and excellent service.

We had a very lovely experience at this pub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very very delicious and reasonably priced. The building is very beautiful, there is a massive garden with plenty of seating. The car park is very big too.

Such a lovely pub set on the main road in Tilbrook. We were staying nearby and wandered in…what a treat! It was that good we ate the next two nights and brought friends along which the staff accommodated at very late notice! Nice beers and Pimms on a summer’s evening. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing. We came here this evening for my sisters birthday. The food was delicious and holly our server was fantastic, she was always smiling and so sweet honestly had the best time. Thanks so much. Holly you’re amazing!

I had dinner with a friend here and enjoyed it so much, I came back with my family. Service is friendly, food is very tasty (loved the chicken liver pate as a starter) and there's a beautiful pub garden with play area.

My wife and I came here, visiting from Canada, for a traditional roast lunch. We were not disappointed! The roast was delicious, with generous portions, lots of yummy veg, and a savoury gravy. The atmosphere was just what we had hoped to experience from a UK country pub. We also got a latte after our meal, and it was a great finish to the day.

Beautiful pub and delicious food. We came for a Sunday roast and it was one of the best we’ve ever had. Service is fantastic. Even though we live an hour and a half away, we’re trying to find an excuse to come back!

Visited for a weeknight dinner. The dining area is a glazed extension which I imagine in the summer could get very warm. With tables all round, it could also be like a zoo exhibit. The dinner menu was varied but not excessive. Pricing was slightly more than other local places. Not excessive but noticeable. Access is not step free through the front door. Whether a wheel chair could enter via the greenhouse door, I didnt check. Access to the toilets would be limited as well. Returned for a birthday dinner and was served by Sofasaurus and Kirstiecorn.

Lovely pub, small but solid menu of pub classics with some twists (we had flatbreads with salad and amazing slow cooked lamb)

Visited Friday Night as at Wedding locally for couple of days. A large group of us ate on Friday, and we all commented on how good the quality of food was. The service from the friendly staff. We came back and had Sunday roast. Again service was great.

Went there for a Friday evening meal. We had lamb shwama and chicken strips with a side of chips. All lovely Well cooked and service was fab. Would go back for sure. Prices with a drink around £20 a person for one course and drink. So normal prices. Great outdoor space, nice conservatory dinning area and outdoor seating area for summer.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday dinner for 3 of us. The starters of spiced cauliflower and salt and pepper calamari were amazing followed by one of the best Sunday Roasts we've had recently. However what made it stand out was the service, the staff were very attentive and we will most definitely return!! Well done guys this is how it should be done!!!

Popped in on friday bank holiday whilst out on a ride, got to say the service was great, friendly and informative. Had the chicken ceaser which exceeded expectations, lucky Saint was a decent non alcoholic alternative lager, very fairly priced food and drink, would definitely go back.

Went for mother's day, the food was lovely. A little disappointed that the fact it was mother's day they didn't mark it with either a rose or a couple of chocolates for the mums.

Lovely staff. Food was a little bit of a let down, the beef burger was dry and not very well seasoned. Veg and bun were very nice though! Same with prawns, it wasn't seasoned and bland. Wasn't much butter to dip the bread in either! Service and atmosphere was very nice 👌

Okay...I am a vegetarian and I had plenty of choice. I chose charred aubergine. This was clearly constructed in the kitchens and was not bought in. The apple crumble came with a custard which was creme anglaise and not Bird's! Service was efficient and excellent. My companions had BBQ ribs and fish cakes...all excellent. The wine was very good. Would I come again? Absolutely!

On our travels from Duxford to the Midlands we came across this little gem. Dog friendly, well behaved children and humans are welcome. Food menu is not extensive but tastefully prepared. Pizza was fresh, crunchy and full of flavour. Ribs were succulent and very tasty. The place is beautifully decoratedbut still keeping the old charm. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

If you are going to Grafham water, then after visiting there, make a detour to here. Great food, great people, dog friendly. Absolutely gem of a place. Highly recommend the pizzas but be prepared to be full afterwards they are filling!

Lovely little pub/restaurant. Good selection of nice beers. Menu choices aren't massive but sufficient. Very friendly staff on different shifts on the two occasions ive been there. Enjoy!

Was passing thorough, Had the fish and chips, I would go as far as saying it’s the best fish and chips I’ve had, batter was nice and crispy. Mushy peas with a hint of mint was a nice touch. Keep up the great work

Lovely Greek style lamb. My wife had a butternut squash salad. Delicious! Sat outside. Beautiful views. Quick and very friendly service. Great value. Highly recommended. Oh and a superb lemon meringue.

Family celebration, so important evening. There was good food and a good range, the ribs very popular, but all meals were tasty and great value. It is a shame there is only a limited choice of beer to accompany the food

Fish, chips, and mushy peas were excellent. The vegetarian beetroot and bean burger was inedible. No sign or taste of any beetroot. Not sure about the beans as looked and tasted like soya. Waitresses were lovely, conservatory room tastefully decorated.

We loved so much this rural English pub. The food was tasty, and the service staff was amicable and attentive. They have a lovely outside garden where you can enjoy lunch. Recommend this.

We were staying in the area for 10 days and it was recommended to us . We had a lovely meal on Tuesday that was so good we went back on Friday and booked in for Sunday lunch . The staff were so lovely and helpful when I asked about their gift vouchers . They didn't have the amount I needed but we're very quick to print some more for me to pick up . The lamb and halloumi shawarmas were lovely as was the Sunday roast ,we will definitely be back in October when we are next in the area x

Lovely place for a summers evening, did eat but the food looked good. Staff were chatty and friendly and it's well presented with lots of garden space and swings for the kids. Definitely worth a trip.

Quick friendly service. Delicious food and decent portions. Lovely patio area surrounded by lovely fields and got to have lunch while watching a stunning falcon swoop and glide over the fields. The lemon meringue pie was Amazing!

Excellent, beautiful setting, had our meal outside in small court yard in the sun. It was wonderful, very friendly staff. Not a very large menu, but what we had was wonderful, the White Horse is well worth a visit.

Came to this pub on the way back from a local zoo and was pleasantly surprised. Staff are all friendly and attentive, the service was fast but not too fast. The pub itself was nice and quiet with a really chilled atmosphere. Now on to the best bit, the food for me this was a 10 out of 10, I had salt and pepper squid to start and their best steak for my main, both of which were delicious. This was real good value. I will for sure be coming back here

What a great find. While visiting Kimbolton we looked for somewhere to eat. Found this on the net. A friendly welcome on arrival 😊 food great, house wines also. All staff very polite and attentive and all at a reasonable price 👍 will most certainly return.

We visited for the first time on mothers day, we were met with a warm welcome, the bar and high top tables were lovely for a welcome drink then ate in the orangery area which was just lovely with great views, Food was so great and drinks menu was so good. Such good value for money, great sunday roast will be returning.

Visited here last night on my friends recommendation Very pretty restaurant at the back with helpful staff and yummy food. The onion rings were so amazing best had for ages!! Enjoyed ribs (although bit overcooked for my liking) my friend enjoyed chicken burger which looked delicious! We both enjoyed puddings and fully stuffed good portions and quality for the money ! A lovely evening to enjoy somewhere different with good food and service which does not always come hand in hand since covid and happily return soon!

Me and my partner absolutely love coming to the White Horse! Their food is completely delicious, very generous portion sizes yet no compromise on quality! The staff are wonderful, very friendly and welcoming, the service is always top notch. The White Horse is beautiful inside and has a lovely atmosphere. They do a fantastic gluten free menu, that has an abundance of options and makes my celiac partner feel very included as he has so much to choose from! Couldn’t recommend enough! We are lucky to call The White Horse our local!!!

Had Sunday lunch today with, a group of 5 everyone enjoyed the food I had a beetroot burger very good and the rest had roast beef also very nice, with very good portions very attentive staff made sure they were always on hand to help the lovely atmosphere made for great dining not to squished in tables had space to allow for a private chat parking was a little tight car park a bit small, had a couple outside eating with a dog but did see a couple of dogs in the snug area to the right, good bitter and lager, toilets were a little neglected but VERY good food will go again!!!

Lovely pub right in the heart of the countryside

Stopped for lunch and had the days special - Cumberland sausage, creamy mash and Spinach with gravy, it was delicious and staff were really friendly, nice atmosphere and nice place to eat.

As always, fantastic food, cozy & friendly atmosphere. Dogs allowed & cater for gluten free diets.

Love the food, the pub, good service didn’t have to wait, thought it was in all a nice experience and relaxing. Only downer was the music was either too loud or it was quite annoying, don’t know which but it involved someone screaming the same lines over and over again. I love music but and love the charts but this was horrendous. That’s my only gripe.
