The Bell Inn Hotel in Huntingdonshire

Great welcome - super comfortable rooms with all facilities- bar and restaurant offered first class service and really good food!

A gorgeous hotel in a beautiful large country village. Stilton is easy to find and well situated by the A1M. It is also close to Peterborough. The hotel is situated towards the end of the Great North Road, which is a no through road. The car park is behind the hotel, which is small and is full at busy times. There are 2 charging points, too, if you have an electric car. Reception is located in the Bistro, which is managed by the Bar/Bistro, so be patient if they are busy. The hotel is quirky, well decorated and well maintained. The rooms are lovely, comfy beds and clean linen. The hotel provide shower gel/shampoo/hand wash; hairdryer; iron and ironing board. Expresso machines are also in the room, with tea bags, chocolate sachets and expresso coffee pods supplied. The food in the hotel is excellent, well presented, hot plates and tastes amazing. The menu is varied and caters for all tastes/dietary requirements. There is also a good selection of drinks behind the bar. The staff are wonderful. They are exceptionally friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend The Bell at Stilton. We will return.

Great place with great service and good food

Went only for a meal this time but have stayed at a previous visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was just 2 days before Christmas, so very busy. Therefore, service was a little slow. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent. We sat in the bar area at the large table, and it was so cosy!

Food is excellent, price reasonable service a little bit slow but it was Saturday night and they were very busy and very polite and professional! Staff were very helpful.

What a great place. At this price everything exceeded expectations. Good Room, with big tv. Quiet. Great breakfast. Lovely staff.

Dropped in for coffee and dessert. Quality food and presentation. Staff were very efficient, friendly and informative -especially very dog friendly. Would recommend to friends and we hope to stay overnight when we visit next.

We went for the restaurant. Everything was ok. We had the sausage and mash, which was very tasty but the sausages weren’t the best (they were very small) We also had a burger, it tasted great. The price was a bit steep vs the quality. The waiters were friendly but very slow and the food took quite a bit to come. I would have liked a desert but the waiters never came back to ask me what I would like.

Great spot stayed here to meet some business friends. Staff are excellent rooms are neat and nicely decorated. The radio for easy listening music when you enter is a great touch. Travel a lot never seen that 👌👌 5 star to the food it’s very very nice from starters to desert. Such friendly and welcoming place. Finished off with a lovely cup of tea.

Lovely historic building, fantastic breakfast, really lovely staff. Very comfortable, definitely recommend this place.

We had a lovely overnight stay here on our way north, would highly recommend and love to stay again.

The staff were the friendliest people I have ever come across at a hotel, the rooms were really nice, and the food was absolutely incredible, I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone!! (From the painter and decorators that stayed with you 2 weeks ago)

Reception and restaurant staff 5 star. We paid for the best room only to check in and find our room was wreaking with stale cigarette smoke... our only option was an unsuitable room or an 1 up and 1 down small house. Absolutely no housekeeping done although part and parcel of what we paid for, also no slippers but we did get bonus hairs in the bathroom. After speaking to Jason hotel manager about our daily housekeeping I got an excuse of the girl called in sick... finally we got some fresh towels thrown over the toilet...

Lovely place with a different feel.

Wanted a Sunday roast but no cruelty free choices on menu... I was informed I need to let them know beforehand.... Not very inclusive. Went to another Coaching inn in Norfolk and they had good nut roast included on their Sunday roast menu just how it should be.

Had Sunday lunch food was good, had to pre order a week in advance and £5 ahead was required as the party was for 19 people. Kids had free food. Service was excellent
