One of the best Chinese takeaways I have had. Compliments to the chef. Might not look great from the outside but the food is lovely.

First time here. I went for a coffee and cake after cleaning my parent's grave. The cafe is lovely and welcoming. Prices are good. My cappuccino was first class but my fruit scone was awful. It was dry and didn't taste great, which was a shame. Either it was stale or the ingredients were not great.

We are regulars! Most staff know us by now and we always enjoy our visits! We recently went with friends and it was amazing as always - topped off by great customer service from Bruce! He was really chirpy and friendly and made a great meal even more enjoyable

On our first night in Great Yarmouth we wondered into the "Marine" looking for some food. The Pub was quiet, and all the Staff were genuinely friendly. My Wife has Gallstones and is waiting an Operation so has to be so careful what she eats, the Staff were able to adapt a Prawn Salad for her, which we appreciated. I'm a huge Pie guy, and I chose the Homemade Steak and Ale Pie, which was a bit special, and I can't say I've eaten many, if any better. It's truly delicious. Thanks to everyone there for a lovely meal. Definitely drop in and try the Homemade Steak and Ale Pie.

The waiter was very nice I have no complaints about the service how ever the food was so poor I had to wright a review.basic flavourless tough chewy steak, soggy floppy apple pie my son enjoyed his overpriced bacon burger but the missus hated her entire meal will not ever return..

This was the worst Fish and chips we have had ANYWHERE! I am not sure the fish is actually cod as it had that grey/brown horrible bit you get sometimes but it's usually only a little. These bits it was thick and ran through the whole pieces ,that's what happens to Pollock when it's old we litterally couldn't eat it and just had chip "butties". To Add insult to injury 2 medium "Cod" 1 small chips, a sausage for the dog and 2 Gherkins. £ 27. 60! By the way the sausage was really poor too, pink mush. Thee gherkins almost like green paste. AVOID!! The only reason for 2 stars and not one is the Lady who served me was lovely. I wonder where she gets her Fish and chips.....

We used to love coming to this carvery. The food was good and the service great but the last few times we have come the food has gone down hill. Not only are the Yorkshire puddings small and flat like someone has sat on them, but the veg is dried up, especially the roast potatoes that are as hard as a rock. What happened to the beautiful soft roast potatoes you used to cook? The sliced potato dish was even worse. Totally dried up with none of the usual cheesy sauce. I tried adding gravy to soften the veg but this didn't work as the gravy was thin and totally tasteless. I think this is the first time I left a Toby Restaurant still hungry ! Has the chef changed? Or are you using a different supplier? It doesn't compare to the lovely meals we have at Shenstone when we visit our family.
