The best restaurants in Tiptree Colchester East of England

Just recently moved to Tiptree and called in for a coffee and Bakewell tart. Both were delicious. Friendly staff & good service.

As always, the Bonnie Blue was top-notch. Our waitress was amazing! Super friendly and worked like a trojan! The food was brilliant and such a reasonable price. If it's a good hearty roast you want, without doubt, this is the best place to come. Thankyou

We went here today for a look around the shop and lunch. We left without lunch because the prices were, in our opinion, way too high and certainly out of our price range. We also found this to be the case in the shop too.

Really lovely pub with amazing food and staff. Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday this evening and it was amazing. The food was well presented and piping hot. The staff very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our son (age 9) enjoyed his children’s meal. The menus had a variety of choices. The pub itself was well presented and had a warmly feel to it.

We decided to make the most of the medium fish and chips deal which was very tasty and certainly generous! Sausages and burger are also excellent and the staff are welcoming and efficient Thanks!

We ordered take out from here. Arrived a few minutes after told to and we were made to wait for another 25 minutes. The food was good. But we were charged twice for an item and now can’t get through to them on the phone to resolve.

Very disappointed in the batter, had been sitting a while, soft and chewy, not crispy like it should be. Fish was dry. Won't be using this place again.

We’ve been going to Wongs for at least 30 years, first Tim and now Tom. Lovely food and always ready on time. Tom recognises who I am as soon as I say hello. I would definitely recommend them.😃

The food was one of the worst I've ever even and my granddaughter was ill all day thrursday and we we had to be close to bathroom facilities all day as well. Avoid this place at all costs. They were obviously trying to get rid ofold stock but at a price which my grand daughter had to pay by being very unwell the next day. We were all poorly and the food we had from there was the only thing we all ate together

We have tried all the local Chinese takeaways and Wongs is the best by far. Excellent quality food, ample portions and good pricing. Cash only and no delivery service, but definitely worth the 10 mile round trip.

Excellent place to go for food and even better, allergies and intolerances all catered for incredibly well. The food required is put through with the allergy documented. The manager then comes out to your table to personally ensure the food you have chosen is safe and if not, offers an alternative. A+ service. Will def be my place of preference going forward.
