Just recently moved to Tiptree and called in for a coffee and Bakewell tart. Both were delicious. Friendly staff & good service.

I saw Coffee Crate on trip advisor and decided to take a drive and try out. good free parking. Friendly reception at the counter with all the lovely bakery coffee smells of the hard work going on in the kitchen out the back. We were seated in good time (one waitress) she was already pinging backwards and forwards with tickets and plates. We were taken next door where we had a choice of two tables as they were nearly full, nice atmosphere, cosy, seats were okay for the duration, tables, cutlery, glasses, cups were clean and shiny. The seating area is dog friendly, which is great for me as I love doggies and a beautiful flower Wall and matching theme looks modern. Food come out in good time presentation as expected was quite big portions Fresh bouncy bread, crisp salad and tasty crisps. Coffee was good frothy cappo and cold drink as expected, we were left feeling full and had a lovely time and felt the price was very reasonable. Overall a lovely little gem don't change! we will be back.

We have eaten breakfast, BBQ and lunch here before but we booked for Sunday lunch and certainly werenât disappointed! We enjoyed starters (plenty of variety) and a fantastic mixed roast with all the trimmings. Meat was cooked to perfection and homemade gravy a real treat. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced and the pub is welcoming and lively. We will be back đ

Had brunch in the cafe yesterday, a sausage and bacon sandwich with a pot of tea for one. The tea was weak, even after leaving to brew, the sandwich was cold and greasy. Unfortunately with a friend who doesn't like to complain but definitely not a pleasant experience. I will not be repeating the experience

Visited this cafe for a quiet coffee while my other half had her hair at the salon across the road. This is a typical 'greasy spoon cafe', and I mean that in a good way. It is a clean, simply presented establishment, providing traditional no thrills food, served by helpful friendly staff. The real indicator to the quality of the food, is the continuous stream of patrons coming in for breakfast, construction workers, locals who from conversations going on are regular visitors. On this first visit I only had coffee, 2 excellent espressos, breakfast nexttime. If you are in the area it is worth a visit.

We ordered take out from here. Arrived a few minutes after told to and we were made to wait for another 25 minutes. The food was good. But we were charged twice for an item and now canât get through to them on the phone to resolve.

If I could give 10stars I would!!! Absolutely lovely lovely people who work here, always so friendly and kind! No matter if I get a delivery or pick up the food is always hot and genuinely would not go anywhere else! I think I've tried pretty much everything on the menu by now aha! Also the staff when above and beyond to help me and even bring my food to My car outside as I couldn't leave to collect my order even though they were sooo busy! Honestly I could keep talking about how amazingly friendly and how great all their customer service is but I'll stop here! đ thank you again to all the staff you all work very hard and it's definitely appreciated my myself! đ

If you ever find yourself at Perrywood Garden Centre and think, âOh, Iâll just pop into the cafĂ© for a quick biteââbrace yourself. Itâs less âpopâ and more âprepare for takeoffâ with the long queues that greet you. The setup is rather canteen-like: drinks and hot food on one side, then another queue for cakes. Yes, itâs a two-stop journey before you even find your seat! Youâll need some first-class queuing patience for this one. Now, onto the food: itâs fine, but for the prices, youâd hope for something a little more gourmet. ÂŁ70 for three people is steep for what we hadâthree soft drinks, two salads, a panini with chips, and three slices of cake. And while the cakes are fairly priced, theyâre not exactly flying high in the flavour department. But hey, they werenât bad enough to ground our experience completely. Whatâs saving grace here is the garden centre itself, which is, quite frankly, excellent. Itâs like a glorious first-class cabin of plants, so I get why people flock to the cafĂ©. If it wasnât attached to such an amazing destination, though, Iâm not sure the cafĂ© alone would have the same pull. Still, Iâd go againâbecause, letâs face it, the plants are worth the visit, and if youâre already there, might as well refuel. In summary: not bad, but not quite the high-flying experience one might hope for. Keep your expectations grounded, and youâll be just fine!
