Been eating at Mo's cafe for a few weeks now, great breakfast, piping hot, served quickly, and plenty of it 😀 I daresay we will carry on eating there whenever we fancy a top breakfast. Thanks.

2nd time of changing owners in last 2 years, first new owner changed a few things but still a good value for money cafe, now another owner has taken over the food quality has dropped and the prices have gone up! Such a shame, It used to be really busy now you go passed its always quiet!

It's under new management now, portion sizes can be abit small, bit after a little chat, was rectified.

Been here several times. Everyone very friendly. Very hot and tasty food. Very clean. Prices fair. Changed hands recently but still nice portions and good food but prices have gone up 🫤

Had a takeaway bacon roll and coffee. Bacon was nice, roll lovely and fresh, coffee was great.

BE CAREFUL !!! This has now changed hands a second time. The prices have gone up, while the quality has gone seriously down. I have tried this place on 2 occasions since the changeover and both times left the meal as it was inedible. Absolutely no care or concern from the new owner who, when told, smiles in a condescending manner and just removes the offending fare. Never an offer of replacement or alternative. AVOID UNLES YOU LIKE DISAPPOINTMENT

Came here for a light lunch as first time visiting. Really good honest food at honest prices. Decent portions and friendly staff. You can either park in tesco car park and walk over, or if there's space there's a car park right out the front. THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY!!!

The cleaning that goes on here whilst waitin on a bacon butty is reassuring. Friendly staff and the bacon butty with brown sauce, delicious 👍🏼

I think we caught a bad day, not sure if the cook was having lessons, but could of been by sound of instructions, bacon like shoe leather, more rusk than sausage,.... etc,

Bright and clean, lovely warm welcome as we walked through the door. Food was excellent, good sized portions. Extremely reasonable price. Think we have found our new favourite cafe for when we visit Tiptree and The Cheap Shop.

Called in for a coffee and lunchtime snack. Pleasantly surprised, a really large selection enough to cover most people's needs. With the current situation it's as cheap to eat at Mo's. No home heating, meet people for a chat. Does a really good home made garlic mayo, a must try. disfrute de su comida Enjoy your food.

Extensive menu . Food was good. Very clean. Bit of a language barrier though. We wanted to make our own breakfast as menu said you could. But man wanted us to just pick a set breakfast I think.. There was a horrible body odour issue aswell .. This put us off a bit.. Felt like we was being watched by the lady who was constantly pacing around waiting for a table to vacate so she could spray it. But they are very friendly people. The fact its cash only is somewhat unprofessional,inconvenient and I always wonder about cash only places... Loads walked in and wanted to pay by card.

Used to like coming here but Mo has gone and been replaced by new owners slouched all over the counter who do not a clue how to run the new business. How about starting with walking in, sitting down without any of them even saying hello. They do not have a clue and certainly should not suceed.

Very tasty food wonderful staff friendly always to all customers happy to serve and helpful been going there since new owners took over Alex ozzy and baran are lovely people all customers very welcome try there food it great highly recommended 😀 😋 😊 lovely salads for the summer as well Mmm prawn cheese and ham salad cheese omelette tomatoes bacon all lovely cooked to perfection 🥰

The Go-to place for the hungry hoardes in Tiptree, Huge menu, all can be customised to your own tastes. Reasonable prices, Very quick service, friendly owners, clean tables, daily papers and ample parking available.

First time in Mos cafe today. Travelled from Ipswich to meet my brother and sis in law after they'd travelled 5 hours from Lancashire to view a property nearby . We all had a lovely breakfast and cuppa each, great value for money, very tasty, staff very friendly. Will definitely go back on next visit to Basildon.

Great cafe very clean food really good

It gave 4 people food poisoning from the bacon and has made people feel sick as was doing a energetic activity and was bad for them. Never going again, terrible

looks like mo,s as been sold , shame because it was the best cafe for miles ..for friendly staff . quick service ..and spick and span at all times..i will miss it as will the people i went with ...will will miss mo and all her lovely staff xx

What a shame the cafes bin taken over use be good quality food now it’s a Turkish happy shopper cafe poor quality food

The new owner is so rude to start. it's such a shame he has dropped all of the local fresh suppliers. ie Stonefield veg and Clough eggs in choice of cash and carry. It sure will be a sad loss to the community from here on out

Really lovely cafe, ladies where very nice, the car park was busy but I was able to park just down the road. The portions where large and it was well priced too! Service was quick and the food was lovely 👍 will definitely be back!!

It's 2021 where most place have plenty of great Vegan options! This place wont even cater for Vegetarians properly. 😕 Very disappointing! It's not hard to stick some Veggie Sausages in the freezer for when needed

Cannot recommend Mo's enough, been going for almost 20 years, food always honest, clean, hygienic, and plentiful at a great price. Number one for me.

I went here to allow room for my family to enjoy there meal after another pub over booked and didn't have enough room for the whole party.Ugh. I lived in tiptree for years and used Mos cafe regularly if i fancied a real nosh up. The food then was always excellent when Mo was alive and can confirl that the standards haven't dropped. It is always busy and there is a wait whilst the food is freshly cooked. But well worth the wait with top quality food and plenty of it at a sensible price. Keep up the good work. 5 STARS

Amzing fresh food love to go on my lunch break

Visited about 6am Saturday morning. Bloody beautiful food. The friendliest people and brilliant service. Had the fry up and all cooked to perfection! Don't mind paying £6/£7 when the food is good. Would 100% recommend and will be going back 😍

Nice place ... But no toilet or hand washing facilities.

This is the best fry up in the Colchester district by a million miles. Service is fantastic. The portions are spot on for the working man or woman. Coffee is great. The price is winnings such great value for money being a proper greasy spoon except you get way more than what you pay for.

Popped in here for breakfast recently. Good coffee and bacon sandwich was delicious. Staff very efficient and friendly. Air conditioned and newspapers available.

We visit here once a month for a cheeky fry up. We wouldn’t go back if it wasn’t anything but lovely. Great value. great taste, great service and always busy. 2 things I would change are the sausages and the waste line that appears to be getting bigger after eating this amazing breakfast each month.
