The best restaurants in Leighton Buzzard North Central Bedfordshire East of England

My first experience of this restaurant, my husband’s second. The staff are charming, helpful, accommodating and very polite. The food is so tasty and the hot mezze with all its flavours was so yummy. Didn’t have a main course as so much in the mezze, but look forward to returning for this. We also had a glass of Turkish wine which was delicious. Anita

A small, friendly coffee shop. There are a couple of seats by the window, but really it’s a take away place. Good coffee. Limited opening hours

Great food, plenty of it and a great price. The place was spotless. Whats not to like. This is a great cafe and I can definitely recommend it.

Sat here in the cafe after my 2 year old just had a great (problem free )haircut. Staff are friendly and coffee is lovely. Bright and airy with great facilities and reasonable prices. Would recommend and already book our next visit....

Food is cheese and pork pies. Best real ale pub around. Brilliant staff, brilliant beer. No pool, no tv, no juke box. Fantastic

Amazing food and service. First time visit. 16 of us for Christmas celebration 5th Dec. Food looked stunning and tasted delicious. Catered for everyone. The communication was spot on with the booking. I have already booked to come back. Told so many people about it. Highly recommend.

I’ve been to the “cottage bar and bistro” twice in the last couple of weeks and have enjoyed the food on both occasions. I had the mussels to start followed by spaghetti with seafood. Both were nicely cooked with fresh seafood and very delicious. Previously I had calamari and sea-bass which were also lovely. The portion size was perfect for me. The service was efficient and the chef was able to offer an alternate for our friend who had specific dietary requirements. I will return as there are other dishes on the menu which I’d like to try.

Ssrvice was quick, food was fresh and tasty. Eat a few things I might not normally eat. Staff was attentive without being overly so. Would eat here again but just passing thru on a canal boat.

Lovely cafe for a catch-up with friends. We enjoyed lovely home cooked food and delicious cake, there really is something for everyone. We saw others enjoying the afternoon tea, which looked impressive. They catered really well to my requirements as a vegan, and we had brilliant friendly service from all members of staff.
