Always a pleasure when my wife and l visit Room no9. Firstly the staff are always pleasant and engaging. Secondly the food is always hot and fresh. A credit to Leighton Buzzard. Tip: Advise booking as it can get very busy. My wife and i went on the off chance and were unable to get in. We went to another nearby eatablishment and met completely the opposite to service and food delivered at Room no 9.

Was a lovely friendly comfortable place to eat with a small family. Shame it was closing that same week.

A fabulous Mothers Day meal! We visited as a family of 11 for Sunday lunch on mothers day. We were so well looked after...the 3 mums got a glass of fizz! Everyone loved their food and the service was really efficient...highly recommend!

We are not sure where to start on this but here goes... A Friday evening, family reunion. We order... They come back... No mixed grill, apologies given Come back again... No sirloin, only rump Starters come ..they are ok. Order more drinks, half of shandy appears as a pint, large wine is definitely not a large wine. This is queried...told ' it does look like a medium ( placed next to another's medium wine) , 'but it is showing as a large one on your bill'...really unsure how this was supposed to make sense. Steaks appear... Medium rump is ok, medium sirloin is ok, medium rare rump...dry as a bone. By this point we had lost the will to say anything and so it was just eaten. Asked if we would like dessert menus. Ten minutes later, someone else came over and asked if we would like dessert menus. Desserts were very nice. Coffee was very bitter. This is honestly the worst service and food ( despite being friendly and polite) we have had. One of our group owns a pub restaurant and they were just speechless. Needless to say we won't be back. A real shame
