Sat here in the cafe after my 2 year old just had a great (problem free )haircut. Staff are friendly and coffee is lovely. Bright and airy with great facilities and reasonable prices. Would recommend and already book our next visit....

Was here for a friends birthday recently and although the food was lovely, they overcharged her by £160. Receipts were not given to everyone by the restaurant and although each person could prove their payment the restaurant still argued and refused to refund the overpayment. After nearly 2 weeks a partial refund was given. Beware for large groups or those that split the bill

Stopped off here after dropping our eldest at the Young Farmers Rally. Had lovely bacon and sausage baguettes before we headed off on a quick dog walk. Lovely friendly atmosphere and a nice cup of tea. Many Thanks

Took the parents out on Sunday and visited Anwick Garden Centre. After having a wander around the Garden Centre and purchasing a few items, we went into the cafe to have a drink and chose to dine, as it was lunch time (13:30ish). I went with the house Cheese Burger and both parents went with the Sunday Roast (on this occasion Beef). I had a can of soda (Vimto) and the parents each had a pot of tea. Food wise, the burger was well cooked and chips and salad were also good and overall it was a great portion for the price. The parents both really enjoyed the beef and the roast potatoes, the only issue being the vegetables, both would have preferred it slightly more cooked, and father would have liked a slight larger vegetable portion. Overall though, we’ll be visiting again, and I would recommend a visit if you’re in the area…

Great beer and warm and friendly service for visitors and locals. They have some wonderful local beers and ales and a variety of different spaces in which to sit and enjoy…from a cozy, classic pub indoors to a multi-sectioned beer garden outdoors.

Popped in to buy some coffee beans. I was able to get some friendly knowledgeable information on which beans would best suit my taste. A wide range of roasted beans from around the world was available, including some flavoured coffee varieties. You can have your selection ground if you'd prefer and there is a good deal on three bags for a tenner (which is very reasonable by supermarket standard. I'll no doubt be back to purchase some more in the future as you should always try and support local independent coffee shops.
