First time visiting this cafe and we were not disappointed. A lovely atmosphere, fantastic staff, and the coffee and cake was amazing. The sample of raspberry smoothie was also very tasty! Will definitely be visiting again.

Popped in from a local village after using the local amenities on Saturday morning and ordered a flat white to go. Very friendly atmosphere, good service from those involved and very nice coffee indeed! Will certainly be making a trip back in the near future.

We visited late afternoon on a weekday with a group of 6 friends to celebrate a baby shower. We all had pizzas - I think the best pizza I have had in years. Delicious crispy dough (I think sourdough base?) and plentiful, quality toppings. Great selection and lots to choose from, plus veggie, vegan and gluten free all catered for. Superb customer service and we were made to feel very welcome. My friend had a delicious smoothie and the cakes looked so tempting that most of us got one to takeaway. Highly recommend that you visit!

There is no better cafe than the friendly welcome of the Hub & Spoke. Always greeted with a smile, the food is freshly prepared & always served hot. As are the drinks. Not to mention the delicious cakes 😊 ☕️🧁🍰

A truly exception café amongst a small number of ordinary local shops. Inside is lovely with lit wireframe cycling models and pleasant outside seating. Very good cakes and a nice latte. Good bacon baggete. Cycle friendly and a community asset.

WOW !! What a fantastic coffee shop, very friendly people, nice food & drink, lovely ambience, and it was clear from our visits that The Hub & Spoke is an important part of the community in many different ways. And from our point of view, what a fantastic party food they can provide - Sue & Rob gave great advice and provided party food for 47 persons with less than two weeks’ notice, perfectly presented, lots of choice, very tasty, not too little, not too much, and not costing the earth, and they are so well organized - which I love! This is small business at its absolute best. Thank you once again Rob & Sue for all your help, you were wonderful.

In a land bereft of well made coffee these guys break the mould! Dropped in on a drive North and were treated to a delicious brekky, some lovely human conversation and, because they were so good - two oat flat whites! Thank you x

Just off the M1, this cafe is a great alternative to using the mundane service stations. The couple that run it are lovely and they clearly put a lot of effort and passion into their food. We all ordered soups and they were delicious. Next time we’ll try their pizzas - they looked amazing! From the outside it may not look that inspiring but it’s what’s inside that counts and you won’t be disappointed. There is a good short walk to stretch your legs nearby at Sharpenhoe. Will definitely be back if in the area again. A perfect pit stop!

I’ve visited several times with my cycling club and then today with my family after dog walking fun. Each time we’ve very much enjoyed our food and the service has been fabulous! Soo good love going!

Stopped here today with my motorbike group for morning coffee, unfortunately my bike wouldnt start and I spent the next 3 1/2 hours waiting for a repair truck and taxi. The staff could not have been more hospitable and were very happy for me to wait in a warm cafe, coffee was superb and delicious bacon baguette. Although a cycle cafe clearly bikers very welcome, thank you Su and Rob and team. Highly recommend this cafe

Just wanted to thank you for the delicious pizzas we have had recently. They are great for a Friday night takeaway and when we have friends over. Perfectly cooked, with delicious ingredients and crispy on top! We will be back for more in the new year.🙌

I'm giving this one star for the purpose of being able to submit a review, otherwise it would be no star. I am saying this not to be vindictive, but to offer a genuine appraisal from which you can strive to sell a product of a quality that every customer expects as standard. On my visit I noticed you sold sausage rolls. I was unaware, until after I had ordered the product, that the sausage roll was displayed in it's raw, uncooked state, which was "cooked" to order ( notice that I chose not to describe it as baked). It was then taken in its raw form and placed in some kind of small oven and cooked ( not baked) for a short period, maybe two minutes, then bagged and presented to me to take away. I've never seen before a sausage roll cooked in this way and I was right to be suspicious that this would produce the product I was expecting ie a sausage roll with light, flaky pastry and soft, juicy sausage interior. What I received, however, was a sausage roll with a hard, chewy shell and tough, rubbery meat interior. It was absolutely terrible and undoubtedly the worst sausage roll I have ever eaten. If other people find this acceptable, more fool them. This is unacceptable.

Lovely food all freshly baked. We realised they missed a part of our order so contacted them and they were very apologetic and quickly sent the missing sandwich. Thank you for a lovely lunch

Excellent pizza, great stop near the motorway

Great food, great service very attentive, lovely inside. My wife had the pasty, which was very good. I had the caesar salad. Very nice, but I had heard great things about the Hub and Spoke and hoped the salad would be as it should be. I would happily pay £1 extra for the Anchovies to be present, and another £1 for a coddled (or poached/ boiled) egg to be a real Caesar salad.. Perhaps add the options to the menu? And how about a cracking Stilton ploughman's? Definitely return, the pizzas looked cracking too. Still worth the 5 stars.

Hands down the best cafe I’ve ever been to. I love it here! I’m in the next village and I’m always made to feel welcome. Everything is super tasty. We love eating in but have had several takeouts as well. The couple who run it are so lovely. We are lucky to have this close by.

Three of us turned up a bit late for lunch but there were no problems. The menu is varied with plenty of choice for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The food was delicious, well prepared and presented. The owners and staff are very friendly and informative. We will definitely be going back.

Visit the cafe regularly. It is literally the 'hub' of the village for meeting people. Highly recommend ANYTHING on the menu

We visited twice, both times we were greeted cheerfully with a smile. The food is excellent, real coffee excellent tea, so good we visited the next day driving 14 miles from our hotel. If we pass nearby again we will make a point of stopping off again.

Visited the welcoming Hub & Spoke as part of a large group.  This meant we were able to order & share a number of different sourdough pizzas - Americana, Diavola, Steak & Rocket, Cumberland Brunch, Portabella Spinaci - from the wide range available. The pizzas all had the perfect balance of crisp slightly charred crust, high-quality melted cheese with well-balanced toppings. A Rocket & Parmesan salad was a lovely accompaniment. Although very full, we couldn't resist a selection of sweet treats to round off an excellent meal.

A perfect place to stop when travelling down the M1. So much better than a motorway services! Lovely food and very friendly service. Highly recommended!

Just had the most amazing afternoon tea here celebrating a friend's birthday. Food was absolutely delicious - and plenty of it (I think we've all taken a box home!). Staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. Would highly recommend. They even cater for GF , vegan etc dietary requirements x

Found it whilst looking in our trusty Extra Miles book which we carry with us at all time and we were not disappointed. The pizzas were d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s and so were the cakes (difficult to choose with so many homemade treats!), Will be back!

Went to Harlington for a school trip. The owner specially made vegan cookies for our mainly Muslim children. Such a lovely treat for them which they enjoyed. Have eaten here before and recommended because of their fresh gluten free food. And coffee is yummy too!

Me & my Mum visited for the first time today and received excellent service by Victoria. What a lovely lady who was so welcome. It has such a lovely ambience and the menu looks lovely and ideal for the summer. We just had cake but will definitely be returning for lunch soon. Fabulous cafe tucked away in a parade of shops in a residential area. Great coffee and a wonderful selection of sweet, savoury, and pizza. Small inside dining area, and weather permitting lots of seats outside. What a wonderful find. Highly recommended.

We have ordered from this place twice now and the food both times has been exquisite. The bacon baguette (with added sausage and roasted onions) were cooked to perfection and still hot on arrival. Called in for supper last week with a friend Oh my goodness we had the best pizza I have ever tasted. It was fresh and really tasty. The atmosphere was so welcoming which is a massive credit to the owners. We couldn’t manage a dessert so asked for a box of delights to take home and have later. This fabulous place is no where near where I live but definitely worth a pit stop on my way travelling back up north. It’s minutes just off the M1 and definitely worth a visit. I would highly recommend this place 😊

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Rob to test ride the Volt Burlington bike. He was very knowledgeable and so friendly. I ordered the bike through Rob and was thrilled to collect it fully assembled and talked through everything with regard to the bike. Had a lovely coffee and cake. The pizzas smelt amazing. Highly recommended

Little brother asked if we could still get something after it closed. Nice lady let us in and she was very generous, kept good hospitality and the cafe experience was great overall. Very cozy and comfortable spot and she let us know how the food was natural and good for you - as a fussy eater I can confirm the cake was banging and so was the milkshake. It was a little warm in there but it was probably just since we were cold before. Would absolutely recommend.

This cafe was recommended in The Extra Mile book which gives info about good food that's available just off the motorway, and this place was perfect. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Far better than thd motorway services. We were on a long 4.5 hour journey from Cheshire to London so didn't know the area but we thoroughly enjoyed our stop. Shame about the heavy rain but the atmosphere inside was very nice. Lots of reserved tables for lunch so the locals obviously love it too. Thank-you for a lovely lunch and good luck for the future.

It seemed a bit cruel to keep this lovely gem to ourselves, so we arranged to meet some friends here for lunch. It was busy, and the place was filled with the warm, relaxed hubbub (see what I did there!) of happy chatting and even happier eating. And it wasn’t just two-legged customers who’ve made this café their go-to destination; in the time we were there we saw a few dogs popping in (owners in tow) for a biscuit from the special jar. There’s SO much choice on the menu, a return visit is a must … and another … and another. On this occasion we had a veggie pizza (me) and a very spicy Diavola (him) which from the frequent ‘yummming’ I could tell was absolutely corking. Cake was a must, but choosing which to have was probably the most difficult decision we’ve made this month. As it turned out, we didn’t have to miss out on anything, thanks to the marvels of take-home boxes. Now in its third year, the Hub & Spoke is a wonderful business, and it’s owners Sue and Rob, take great pride in sourcing fabulous ingredients, offering wonderful service, and welcoming one and all. What a superb little cafe this is. Nestled in the village of Harlington. First time here & I wonder how it’s taken me so long to find it. A long time friend suggested it as it’s owned by Sue, a previous boss of ours & Rob. As soon as we arrived, we felt so welcome. You could also tell it is favoured by many people and not just the locals. The menu was very extensive & included an array of things, including sourdough pizza, sausage rolls, salads, cake and even more cake! Not forgetting tea, coffee, hot chocolate, indulgent milkshakes & nutritious smoothies! We were impressed with the choice of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free offerings too.There’s certainly something for most people! We opted for the pizzas. My funghi i tartufi pizza was hot, fresh & delicious! From the sounds coming from other people on our table, it seems theirs was too! So much so, I forgot to take a photo! We all finished off with a selection of yummy cakes. Mine was the millionaires shortbread. The caramel was just perfect! Not stopping there, we even took cakes home! All in all a wonderful afternoon and great to catch up. I’ve already told other friends and they now want to visit! Thank you so much Sue! And to Rob and the rest of the team! Can’t wait to return!

What a gem of a cafe! Amazing food and best coffee around! The pizza's are to die for and I had the gluten-free with toppings suiting my food allergies. Thank you so much to Chiara for making my pizza and Taylor for making my friends who also said they are the best pizza's too! They cater so well for food allergies with a great variety of GF and vegan options. The gf vegan vanilla cheesecake is my favourite! Friendly, welcoming and dog friendly. Fabulous owners and staff...What more could you ask for!

Beautiful cafe with plenty to offer for all. Happened to visit on their 3rd birthday & it was a delight!!! The owners are lovely & the team were fantastic. Visited to get some proactive planning done & felt very welcomed. Such a lovely, welcoming, warm atmosphere, and lots of families visiting, with children, grandparents & dogs.

Very disappointing pizza. The Pesto Pollo had no pesto flavour and about 5 little slivers of chicken! Mostly a big piece of bread with congealing cheese. The Brunch baguette was very tasty with obviously quality ingredients but I’d asked for extra sausage and extra bacon and didn’t seem to get either! Then I thought I’d look forward to my dessert of vanilla cheesecake only to find it had been packed under the hot food so was a squashed melted globule of vanilla splodge! Not impressed at all.

Fantastic find! Love using Wooden Hill beans and found out that The Hub & Spoke Cafe makes their coffee with their beans. Had a very nice Flat White Popped in and very impressed with their wide range of delicious looking brownies, cakes and other freshley made food. If you are in the area, can highly recommend the guys, great coffee, food and very friendly with great service
