A perfect place to stop when travelling down the M1. So much better than a motorway services! Lovely food and very friendly service. Highly recommended!

Just had the most amazing afternoon tea here celebrating a friend's birthday. Food was absolutely delicious - and plenty of it (I think we've all taken a box home!). Staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. Would highly recommend. They even cater for GF , vegan etc dietary requirements x

Found it whilst looking in our trusty Extra Miles book which we carry with us at all time and we were not disappointed. The pizzas were d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s and so were the cakes (difficult to choose with so many homemade treats!), Will be back!

A truly exception café amongst a small number of ordinary local shops. Inside is lovely with lit wireframe cycling models and pleasant outside seating. Very good cakes and a nice latte. Good bacon baggete. Cycle friendly and a community asset.

Went to Harlington for a school trip. The owner specially made vegan cookies for our mainly Muslim children. Such a lovely treat for them which they enjoyed. Have eaten here before and recommended because of their fresh gluten free food. And coffee is yummy too!

Always love a visit to the Hub and Spoke. Sat in there for hours today reading my book with lots of lovely chats with all of the staff, especially the owners, ate so good food, drank some delicious coffee and even ended up having a cake to go! Will always recommend to everyone in the area!

Me & my Mum visited for the first time today and received excellent service by Victoria. What a lovely lady who was so welcome. It has such a lovely ambience and the menu looks lovely and ideal for the summer. We just had cake but will definitely be returning for lunch soon. Fabulous cafe tucked away in a parade of shops in a residential area. Great coffee and a wonderful selection of sweet, savoury, and pizza. Small inside dining area, and weather permitting lots of seats outside. What a wonderful find. Highly recommended.

We have ordered from this place twice now and the food both times has been exquisite. The bacon baguette (with added sausage and roasted onions) were cooked to perfection and still hot on arrival. The cakes are so delicious and the cinnamon rolls arrived warm too which was delicious. Thank you very much.

Called in for supper last week with a friend Oh my goodness we had the best pizza I have ever tasted. It was fresh and really tasty. The atmosphere was so welcoming which is a massive credit to the owners. We couldn’t manage a dessert so asked for a box of delights to take home and have later. This fabulous place is no where near where I live but definitely worth a pit stop on my way travelling back up north. It’s minutes just off the M1 and definitely worth a visit. I would highly recommend this place 😊

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Rob to test ride the Volt Burlington bike. He was very knowledgeable and so friendly. I ordered the bike through Rob and was thrilled to collect it fully assembled and talked through everything with regard to the bike. Had a lovely coffee and cake. The pizzas smelt amazing. Highly recommended

Little brother asked if we could still get something after it closed. Nice lady let us in and she was very generous, kept good hospitality and the cafe experience was great overall. Very cozy and comfortable spot and she let us know how the food was natural and good for you - as a fussy eater I can confirm the cake was banging and so was the milkshake. It was a little warm in there but it was probably just since we were cold before. Would absolutely recommend.

This cafe was recommended in The Extra Mile book which gives info about good food that's available just off the motorway, and this place was perfect. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Far better than thd motorway services. We were on a long 4.5 hour journey from Cheshire to London so didn't know the area but we thoroughly enjoyed our stop. Shame about the heavy rain but the atmosphere inside was very nice. Lots of reserved tables for lunch so the locals obviously love it too. Thank-you for a lovely lunch and good luck for the future.

What do you get when you have the King of Pizzas and the Queen of Cakes? Well, the Hub & Spoke Café, that’s what. It seemed a bit cruel to keep this lovely gem to ourselves, so we arranged to meet some friends here for lunch. It was busy, and the place was filled with the warm, relaxed hubbub (see what I did there!) of happy chatting and even happier eating. And it wasn’t just two-legged customers who’ve made this café their go-to destination; in the time we were there we saw a few dogs popping in (owners in tow) for a biscuit from the special jar. There’s SO much choice on the menu, a return visit is a must … and another … and another. On this occasion we had a veggie pizza (me) and a very spicy Diavola (him) which from the frequent ‘yummming’ I could tell was absolutely corking. Cake was a must, but choosing which to have was probably the most difficult decision we’ve made this month. As it turned out, we didn’t have to miss out on anything, thanks to the marvels of take-home boxes. Now in its third year, the Hub & Spoke is a wonderful business, and it’s owners Sue and Rob, take great pride in sourcing fabulous ingredients, offering wonderful service, and welcoming one and all. What a superb little cafe this is. Nestled in the village of Harlington. First time here & I wonder how it’s taken me so long to find it. A long time friend suggested it as it’s owned by Sue, a previous boss of ours & Rob. As soon as we arrived, we felt so welcome. You could also tell it is favoured by many people and not just the locals. The menu was very extensive & included an array of things, including sourdough pizza, sausage rolls, salads, cake and even more cake! Not forgetting tea, coffee, hot chocolate, indulgent milkshakes & nutritious smoothies! We were impressed with the choice of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free offerings too.There’s certainly something for most people! We opted for the pizzas. My funghi i tartufi pizza was hot, fresh & delicious! From the sounds coming from other people on our table, it seems theirs was too! So much so, I forgot to take a photo! We all finished off with a selection of yummy cakes. Mine was the millionaires shortbread. The caramel was just perfect! Not stopping there, we even took cakes home! All in all a wonderful afternoon and great to catch up. I’ve already told other friends and they now want to visit! Thank you so much Sue! And to Rob and the rest of the team! Can’t wait to return!

What a gem of a cafe! Amazing food and best coffee around! The pizza's are to die for and I had the gluten-free with toppings suiting my food allergies. Thank you so much to Chiara for making my pizza and Taylor for making my friends who also said they are the best pizza's too! They cater so well for food allergies with a great variety of GF and vegan options. The gf vegan vanilla cheesecake is my favourite! Friendly, welcoming and dog friendly. Fabulous owners and staff...What more could you ask for!

Beautiful cafe with plenty to offer for all. Happened to visit on their 3rd birthday & it was a delight!!! The owners are lovely & the team were fantastic. Visited to get some proactive planning done & felt very welcomed. Such a lovely, welcoming, warm atmosphere, and lots of families visiting, with children, grandparents & dogs.

Very disappointing pizza. The Pesto Pollo had no pesto flavour and about 5 little slivers of chicken! Mostly a big piece of bread with congealing cheese. The Brunch baguette was very tasty with obviously quality ingredients but I’d asked for extra sausage and extra bacon and didn’t seem to get either! Then I thought I’d look forward to my dessert of vanilla cheesecake only to find it had been packed under the hot food so was a squashed melted globule of vanilla splodge! Not impressed at all.

Fantastic find! Love using Wooden Hill beans and found out that The Hub & Spoke Cafe makes their coffee with their beans. Had a very nice Flat White Popped in and very impressed with their wide range of delicious looking brownies, cakes and other freshley made food. If you are in the area, can highly recommend the guys, great coffee, food and very friendly with great service

Tried the new Cumberland sausage pizza at lunchtime today for the first time - very, very nice. We think it will become our favourite. Great service as always despite being very busy.

This is a busy place with delicious food from cakes and sausage rolls through baguettes with hot fillings to fresh pizza cooked to order with a variety of toppings There are only a few tables but there is also a takeout service. Will definitely be going again!

I was here with my family and the staff were amazing! I really recommend the triple chocolate brownie they have- it was the best brownie I ever tasted :)

Very cozy and warm atmosphere, the sweetest and friendliest staff, and most importantly , great snacks, sweet and savory. We landed here randomly on our trip, but it was just great.

Without a doubt this is not just a great asset to our village but is also an excellent place for superb, good quality and well prepared food. Hot, cold, sweet or savoury, the choice is endless. Coffee is really good, strong but not bitter, king is the Chai Latte, but I'm told everything else is good too. The smoothies though are really good, did I mention the iced coffee and tea? Sue and Rob and all the staff are really friendly, chatty and helpful. Service is as quick as it can be given the place is always busy, but there are tables inside and out to enjoy the atmosphere of the cafe or village. Great for a naughty cake on the way back from a school run, or warming drink after Saturday footy. Then the pizzas. Oh the pizzas! Beef and rocket wins for me, but the made to order, locally sourced ingredients and special sauce base mean they are both filling and mouthwatering. If you like cycling, or have just entered the village via one of the hills then this is a great place to restock. Likewise it's 5 minutes from the M1 at junction 12, so a way better option than the infamous service area nearby. Very much at the heart of the village with events, parties and involvement in local groups. We're lucky to have it and reluctant to share :)

What a lovely cafe. I was visiting a friend in the village and we had a light lunch after our walk. Bob and Sue were also happy to welcome my dog - inside and out. I shall certainly visit again, even though it’s about 40 min drive from my home near Stevenage. You’ll certainly want to return also.

Lovely cafe, very nicely decorated but as a cycling group that loves cafe stops, service would be a little slow as we are time restrained and not a very big area to sit (unless weather is good then outside tables available). But the pizza is to die for! Fresh out of the oven! Coffee very nice too xx

I highly recommend The Hub & Spoke Cafe! Sue was so accommodating and welcoming, with myself & my two boys (15 months and 4 years old) thank you for a wonderful lunch. Sue also offered that I was able to bring my own bits for the children which is unheard of these days, thank you. The Team are all so happy, friendly & welcoming, their customer service is second to none. My Boys loved the homemade milkshakes & I love the fact that it is just ice-cream and milk! The pasty was delicious and so were the cakes. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem! Thank you so much ❤️

Amazing gem of a cafe. Rob and Sue are great owners who make u feel welcome, u def have to try the sausage rolls and the pizzas are to die for, dads steak pizza was so tasty and i had the cumberland brunch pizza which can honestly say was not a crumb left on my plate. My daughter had the sausage and bacon baguette, which she found so filling. If you love bikes, you will not find a better cafe or a more knowledgeable host in Rob. They dont scrimp on quality and that shows in everything they do.

My friend and I were 3 hours into a a bike ride from London to Manchester. We stumbled across the café and were very glad we did. An excellent bacon sarnie and a coffee helped, and Rob, the owner, was very helpful. He looked at our planned route and advised an alternative that would reduce distance and be nicer riding - we were very grateful for that at the end of the ride! Overall, a great cafe for both cyclists and non-cyclists alike

We were totally blown away by the pizzas: fantastic crispy sourdough with an excellent tomato topping enhanced with outrageously moreish pepperoni, chorizo,ham, the dinkiest of fungi and subtly drizzled with pesto. My wife's pizza had a flourish of truffle oil which raised the pizza-envy stakes from my side of the table. The atmosphere was great: a feeling of fitting in with the locals, first name terms, laughter and jovial banter mixed with the quiet confidence of happy and skilled foodistas preparing the miracles of gastronomic delights both sweet and savoury. My strawberry smoothie was so good and, if I'd had time, I would have downed another.

Enjoyed food here many times and realised I haven't yet reviewed it. Came this week and enjoyed their delicious portobello and spinach pizza, Parmesan and sun dried tomato salad, a refreshing raspberry blast smoothie ...followed by the most delicious cheesecake. This is a great cafe and well worth the short detour off the motorway. We had brunch after a long flight from AUST on our way North. The savoury and sweet choices were very good quality and sourced locally. The owner is very friendly and passionate about her business which is refreshing. We liked it so much we organised to stop off on our way back 9 days later and had an early dinner - the pizzas were also very good! Highly recommended!

After coming here more than 3 times I can confidently say it is totally worth it. The coffee tastes better than average (After having coffee in Australia it is hard to find good coffee elsewhere), the owner is super friendly and kind, and the place itself is cute, the lovely girl at the cashier welcomes you with a beautiful smile and that’s all I’m looking for at local cafes. We visited this cafe on our bikes and were greeted by a very friendly owner who took time and trouble to tell us about his cafe and the menu. 25% off drinks for cyclists. Quality food and a good choice for vegan vegetarians. Home baked pizzas also great as well as cakes. Good value prices.

Really great friendly service with a variety of foods. Pizza’s we’re amazing and didn’t take long to come out. We ordered 3 and it took maybe 15 minutes for all to be served.
