I love coffee (I have four different ways to make coffee at home and I am not talking about instant coffee, I’m talking about V60s and drip kettles) anyway I was so impressed with Espresso Head. Loved the Icelandic theme, the flat white I ordered was perfect with a light roasted espresso bean used and the added bonus is that they had doughnuts from SAY doughnuts! The barista was chatty and friendly and all precautions were taken with social distancing, screens and contactless payment. If you live in Leighton Buzzard you are so lucky and have no excuse to not get your coffee here. I diverted our journey so I could pop by this amazing micro cafe!

My 12 year old and I decided to stop for a hot drink while waiting for the library to open. Seems like it’s the only coffee place in Leighton Buzzard that is open at 8:30 in the morning(they open at 8). It was very cute and quaint. The coffee is very fresh and my son loved his Hot Chocolate. My son has Aspergers and has sensory issues with smell, sound etc and he felt VERY comfortable here so that is a major plus as it’s hard for me to find places I can take him without a meltdown. The owner/barista was very nice and welcoming. We sat inside (place for about 5-6 people to sit which worked for us at the time). Lots of people were in and out with their coffees and dogs are welcome too. The coffee shop offers items for sale including some coffee presses, hand drawn pictures and some amazing looking chocolate. We will definitely go back. X

Visit regularly on my way into town, normally go for a flat white but decided to give the iced coffee a try in this melting heat. I’m now a convert! Iced coffee all the way. Small, but perfectly formed Espresso Head is always a treat. Knowledgeable, friendly baristas, cozy interior and good prices - I highly recommend!

I live in the town but only visited Espresso Head a few weeks ago, what a fool! It's quite easy to miss as it's not on the main High Street and is only a small shop, but it's well worth seeking out and visiting.A wide variety of coffees are on offer, including hot chocolate and some teas I believe, along with syrups and dairy milk alternatives. I'm a big fan of a mocha, and can honestly say that the mocha from Espresso Head is by far the best I've had in a long time and even better than your High Street coffee chains. I recently tried their Amaretto latte which was really nice too. Prices are reasonable and you save 20p if you take in your own cup. There is some seating inside but not much. The guy that's usually behind the counter is always friendly and seems to know his stuff about coffee. There's usually some sweet treats for sale too which always look good. The coconut flapjack is worth a try if it's on the counter! This will now be my go-to place for coffee when I'm out in town.

Warm welcome, great guys, nice atmosphere. Best coffee in Leighton Buzzard if not Bedfordshire. The single origin pour over I had was perfectly brewed and Matt was knowledgeable about the farm from which it was harvested, bought a bag of the same beans for home brewing. Lovely! FOOD - 5⭐️ The food was amazing, everything was tasty and delicious- and for someone who lived in turkey for 7 years it tasted the exact same. The portion sizing was quite big and I could have done with less chips with the lamb chops. SERVICE -4⭐️ we went on a Friday and it got quite busy. We had a lovely blonde English girl serving us who was very social and polite alongside making us feel very welcome here and not rushing us. Alongside her serving was a young girl lad who was again a polite chappy who had all the same qualities as her. I had to knock a star off of the service tho due to the amount of time the manager spent outside smoking. We were in for no long than an hour and 1/2 and he must of been outside 3 or 4 times whilst the young waiters were left to do everything. When he came in the subtle smell of smoke lingered too which slightly put us off. We also always tip in cash for the staff who served us the most to keep for themself and we saw them put in all in a pot so the main waitress/ waiter probably didn’t get they exact tip from us which was very disappointing due to them doing such a good job. When we come back to leighton- we will be sure to return!
