The best restaurants in Canvey Island North Castle Point East of England

Unreal pie and mash, proper pie and mash, the way it really is and should be. Old school. Always get a triple pie and mash and always feel like I could eat more just because it’s so good. Staff are really friendly and delivery is fast. Mrs doesn’t eat pie and mash but she has their deserts when I order and I’ve tried them and again, really good. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for pie and mash, this beats robins and that’s saying something.

I don’t feel like this takeaway service gets enough hype! There food is quality and Iv ordered many times always spot on best on the island of Canvey

Milkshake was no way near a kinder chocolate and cheesy chips hardly had any cheese on and was very salty

Oysterfleet have served raw uncooked chipolata sausages on two occasions I have visited don t think they ever saw a frying pan or a oven

That is the worst food I have ever had I older for my kids and I had to wait 10 more minutes for mine when I got it home the kids dinner was cold I live 5 minutes away don't go there

Just collected an online order through the app, super easy and all staff were very friendly. The young man at the service window was very friendly and super helpful.

Food was terrible went in the bin

Greeted by a pretty cold unfriendly receptionist. Was told we had to produce Id which was news to us. I asked if she wanted me to nip back home to Yorkshire to get it, that fell on deaf ears. I’m Quickly learning at this point not to try and lighten the mood with an attempt at a joke. Anyway luckily our son had a pic of my passport from a trip he’s organising. We went to our room which was a twin and looked more like the cleaning cupboard size wise. The beds and bedding were real comfortable 👍. The shower although powerful was a waste as the shower tray didn’t empty fast enough and would soon have overflowed. The room was generally tired and uninviting. May have to stay again when we visit friends as there isn’t an abundance of accommodation on Canvey. If there was we would use it. Sorry Oyster fleet, must try harder.

The food is AMAZING and the service is IMPECCABLE

Utterly disappointed with how we was treated, food turned up up soggy tasteless and full of oil phoned back to complain was told we could have another delivery to see if any better and agin the same food turned up was then told we could have a refund and how sorry they were was told to make sure we keep the food which we did hours went past no refund the next evening we phone back to ask where the refund is and was told we was never allowed a refund £50 worth of Chinese still sitting on the kitchen side to be picked up was spoken to horrendously no apology nothing so no food and no refund discusting really wouldn’t use this place I know loads of people myself that have had same problems and will also not be returning utterly shocking the customer service is discusting and so is the food if I could score lower I would

We went for afternoon tea on 12.1.19. The whole experience was really lovely and the afternoon tea was one of the best that we've had. The sandwiches were packed out with the filling and the cakes were delicious. The service was lovely with plenty of tea on offer. Better than some hotels in London that I have been to for afternoon tea, would really recommend and will be returning soon.

Visited the canvey island KFC on 19/12/24 evening time this kfc has problems nearly every time we visit the next day you get stomach cramps this is not every time but last night was no exception today bad stomach cramps yet again last time we go in there never again they must have a hygiene problem for sure
