The best restaurants in Canvey Island North Castle Point East of England

Spotted when passing so thought we would give it a try, and was not disappointed. Great place, nice people, food great really enjoyable. Will defo go again

First time ordering from these guys and without fail, my last time ordering from anywhere else!! The taste was amazing, the burger was quality, even the bun was fresh as it could be! It's so nice to get a decent burger, with multiple flavour options (I had blue cheese and chilli jam) and have it delivered HOT. Thank you for the wonderful meal 🙂

Really disappointed, I ordered cakes to be delivered on Friday for my accountant but they didn’t arrive . After rescheduling them for Monday got a call from them to say they hadn’t arrived again . Very embarrassing, I wouldn’t recommend this company . I just hope that when they finally get the cakes they’re good .

We stayed 1 night at the hotel as we were attending a function there. The building our room was in had a strange odor and there were leak stains on the ceiling outside our room. The hotel still uses keys, not key cards and you are provided one set only. Upon check in, you are advised the wifi is poor in the rooms. The room itself was very basic; no doors on wardrobe, no shelves in bedside cabinets, stripy carpet. The bed (a small double) was disproportionate to the room size & the mattress was very hard. The bathroom was very dated. We ate at the pub restaurant which was general pub food but agree with other reviewers there was not much knowledge about the ingredients. The function room was a great space, so would recommend this. I would not book to stay in the hotel again.

Even though there were no vegan options officially on the menu - the lovely lady who took the orders arranged for our meal to be adapted so that it was vegan friendly. Very friendly, helpful service. We'll definitely be going back.

Ordered a calzone and honestly I couldn’t recommend these guys enough food is amazing!!

Just been to KFC canvey no drive through available had to go in and order from terminal I am not used to these nobody to help cannot order at counter asked member of staff when or if drive through will be opening again she replied I dont know I only work here CLASSIC so who will know maybe someone in the pie and mash shop will be able to help .

Just got back from Thailand miss there food this place is very very like the real thing was lovely will definitely be going back

Having stayed in this hotel we were disappointed with the room as the curtains and bedding were stained, the bathroom extremely dated and the room was very noisy. If booking and paying for breakfast on check in as they say you have book and pay in advance and they offered us full English or continental (please beware the continental breakfast only consists of cereal and toast ) The menu that is not offered to you until you get in the room does not even offer continental breakfast? So why do they promote it at reception? At breakfast we had to wait 50 minutes for the full English to arrive which was awful we were not asked what type of egg we wanted, mushrooms were over cooked, no hash browns cold tomatoes and beans was not worth the money. I wrote to the General Manager who has not had the decency to respond to me.

Utterly disappointed with how we was treated, food turned up up soggy tasteless and full of oil phoned back to complain was told we could have another delivery to see if any better and agin the same food turned up was then told we could have a refund and how sorry they were was told to make sure we keep the food which we did hours went past no refund the next evening we phone back to ask where the refund is and was told we was never allowed a refund £50 worth of Chinese still sitting on the kitchen side to be picked up was spoken to horrendously no apology nothing so no food and no refund discusting really wouldn’t use this place I know loads of people myself that have had same problems and will also not be returning utterly shocking the customer service is discusting and so is the food if I could score lower I would

Great kebabs and chips. Tasted fresh. The best kebab in a long time. Will certainties from there again

Lovely food , and absolutely rapid delivery, all round great

We went for afternoon tea on 12.1.19. The whole experience was really lovely and the afternoon tea was one of the best that we've had. The sandwiches were packed out with the filling and the cakes were delicious. The service was lovely with plenty of tea on offer. Better than some hotels in London that I have been to for afternoon tea, would really recommend and will be returning soon.

I waited at the counter for 25 minutes for 3 pieces of chicken and 1 fries and a drink, when I got home 5 minutes drive I had 3 greasey soggy legs and stone cold fries it really has gone to the pits in Canvey kfc I will not be going back and while I was there there must of been 8 staff and they all looked like they could do with a good jet wash RANK
